Race 1	Super Pets Stakes - C1 - 520	LOCHINVAR CAMARO (4) , CAWBOURNE POLLY (6) , HEAR HARE HERE (7) and CLEARTOWN LEROY (8) were all slow to begin . Racing into the first turn LOCHINVAR CAMARO and CAWBOURNE POLLY came together and jostled with LOCHINVAR CAMARO running wide and losing ground . When questioned about the performance of LOCHINVAR CAMARO kennel representative M ROBERTS reported that the runner may not have backed up from its last outing and would report to stewards if anything comes to light in subsequent days.
Race 2	Flair Stakes - C0 - 520	HARLEM HAKA (8) was slow to begin. Into the first bend COURT THE BELLE (5) and KNOW JUDGE (9) were badly checked and lost all chance .LACEY (7) shifted out off the heels of OPAWA CUDDLES(4) and became unbalanced rounding the final turn .
Race 3	Hurunui Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295	OKOTOKS(4) shifted inwards on jumping and hampered BELISCONI (3) which got back as a result. Racing around the first turn OKOTOKS was checked when jostled between ANOTHER SNAZZA (1) and LIQUORICE WHIP (9) . Round the final bend NITRO EXPRESS (2) AND LIQUORICE WHIP came together and jostled. When questioned about the performance of winner ANOTHER SNAZZA kennel representative K O'Connor informed the stewards that the runner had had appreciated the drop back in grade and the inside box draw.
Race 4	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C1 - 520	Shortly after the start MISS ISABELLA (5) shifted in towards the running line and hampered both STARBURST BENNY (3) and OPAWA CHILL(4).Shortly after MISS ISABELLA which continued inwards made contact with CAWBOURNE JELLY (2).MISS ISABELLA and CAWBOURNE JELLY jostled for a distance. Racing into the first turn AIR FLOW (7) which was shifting down to the running line dictated WHAT I LIKE (6) into the running line of CALM SPIRIT (1) and MISS ISABELLA resulting in checks to these runners. CAWBOURNE JELLY ran wide on the first bend and continued to run wide down the back straight.
Race 5	Carol's T.A.B. Stakes - C1 - 520	OUT BACK BILL (7) was slow to begin . WUNZEE (1) was slow through the early stages . Approaching the first bend THRILLING SOUND (4) lost ground when checked between WUNZEE and OUT BACK BILL.
Race 6	C.T.V. Dash - C1 - 295	SECRET SARAH (2) was slow through the initial stages . Rounding the final bend SECRET SARAH checked off the heels of KATIE ATE IT(3) which had shifted in towards the running line and in doing so made firm contact with JUMPIN SALLY (4), SECRET SARH and JUMPIN SALLY were both unbalanced as a result.
Race 7	Oak n Ferry Bar & Restaurant Stakes - C1 - 520	PUKEKO RAPTOR (7) was slow to begin. Racing into the first turn STICH UP (6) was checked and fell when tightened between GYPSY HUNTER (2) which shifted out off the heels of OPAWA TANIA (1) and MOON AND SEA (8) which shifted down towards the running line. STICH UP was referred to the veterinarian for assessment which revealed no obvious abnormalities.
Race 8	Johnny Midnight At Stud Sprint - C1 - 295	Into the first bend DRIVE FIVE (5) was tightened and checked between SLINGO (4) and STAR GUN (7).In consequence DRIVE FIVE shifted outwards and hampered CANDY BELLE(8).
Race 9	NZRS Novice Final - NZRSf - 520	Shortly after the start LAUDABLE (3) was tightened and checked when GAME GIRL (5) shifted down to the running line and NOISEY LEO (2) shifted away from the rail . MEGA GIRL (7) was hampered as a result .KNOW SECURITY (8) was checked from behind by NOISETY LEO which had continued on an outward movement. KNOW SECURITY was further hampered and lost all chance rounding the first bend when jostled for some distance between PUKEKO PROWLER (3) and MEGA GIRL.
Race 10	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C1 - 520	BABY JAMES (9) was slow through the initial stages. In the run to the first bend LAW TO EXCEL(1) and OHOKA TAYLOR (6) came together and jostled with both runners losing momentum as a result .The connections of MAKER'S LABEL (8) reported to the stewards that it was their intention to give MAKER'S LABEL a brief spell.
Race 11	Hampden Tavern Dash - C1 - 295	Racing into the first bend JOYVILLE (4) was tightened and checked between STARBURST PAUL (2) which shifted out off the running line and PHAT PANTS (5) which was dictated inwards by BILLY WEST (6) . Shortly after PHAT PANTS was checked when STARBURST PAUL and BILLY WEST continued on with their movements. When questioned over the performance of winner BLUE GALE RISE (1) trainer B DANN informed the stewards that BLUE GALE RISE had benefitted from the inside box draw after being unlucky in recent racing and with regular racing was now near peak racing weight.
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C1 - 295	QUIET SNORT (6) and TWISTER AL (8) were slow to begin . Rounding the bend CLAREMONT DIVA (2) lost momentum when contacted from behind by HILL OF GRACE(3).
