Track: Good The track was presented in very good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly with the exception of the incident in race 7.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Race 7 was abandoned when the power to the lure was lost and the field caught the lure short of the line. An inquiry was opened and adjourned into the matter after it was confirmed by the Lure Driver that he had accidently switched off the power to the Lure Controls .

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	GROOVY LEO, PHENOMENAL LILY and HOMEBUSH ENVY were a little slow to begin and they settled back and stayed there throughout the race. BILLY HOLMES raced a little wide throughout covering extra ground but finished strongly to win the race.
Race 2	Woodville Sprint C1 - C1 - 375	SNAP TO IT shifted out from the start and bumped DOUBLE TAPP which shifted out causing a chain reaction of movement which resulted in TEN ELEVEN , SAND BUSTER and INDIVIDUAL LILY coming together and bumping and they settled back. INDIVIDUAL LILY was bumped by TEN ELEVEN going into the bend and was unbalanced and forced wide over extra ground.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C1 - C1 - 375	HOMEBUSH STING shifted in abruptly from the start checking SARAH'S COOL which fell and TEPIRITA JAZIL and COOL HEIR which were both hampered and lost ground. HOMEBUSH STING lost her footing behind and was classed as falling. COOL HEIR recovered very well after the incident and went on to win the race. SARAH'S COOL was referred to the Vet for assessment . EXPOTENTIAL LILY was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request.
Race 4	Manawatu Raceway C1 - C1 - 457	TIME FOR WHAT and OPAWA JEN bumped together going to the first corner and went back to the rear. TIME FOR WHAT clipped the heels of OPAWA JEN approaching the straight entrance and blundered losing a little ground.
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C2 - C2 - 375	WUNYA began awkwardly and settled back. He then clipped the heels of HOMEBUSH ALEX going into the bend losing three lengths and stayed back for the remainder of the race to finish in last place.
Race 6	Marton Dash C2 - C2 - 375	OPAWA PATCH and PREFONTAINE were slow to begin and settled back. NITRO LUIS shifted in going into the bend and checked KEZZ which went back and out causing checks to QUEEN COBRA and PREFONTAINE and they lost three lengths.
Race 7	Ashurst Stakes C3 Final - C3f - 457	The favourite THRILLING BRAVE was slow to begin but looped the field and looked to be in for an easy win when the power to the lure was lost and the field caught the lure just short of the line. As a result , the race was abandoned and an inquiry was opened and adjourned into the reason for the loss of power to the lure. ( Refer to Judicial section )
Race 8	www.racingdogs.co.nz C3 - C3 - 375	THRILLING TERROR and JACKSON TOWN were both a little slow to begin and settled back. JACKSON TOWN recovered the best of the two and she raced wide on the bend and finished very well in the straight for 3rd placing.
Race 9	Cloverlea Dash C4 - C4 - 375	TIMES UP made contact with the hind quarters of EUREKA IZMIR going into the bend and they both lost ground with TIMES UP the most affected and he lost three lengths, went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish.
Race 10	Shannon Sprint C5 - C5 - 375	CALL ME RALPH shifted out abruptly soon after the start causing a chain reaction of bumping which affected HOT KING COLE, SUPERIOR IZMIR, THRILLING HAVOC and SHANGHAI SAM and they all lost ground with SUPERIOR IZMIR the most affected and he lost four lengths.
Race 11	Feilding Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	RENE RANGER shifted in from the start and caused bumping between BIGTIME JET, TRENDY KNOCKA'S and BUMPA STICKER and they lost ground and settled back. SPACE RACE and BIGTIME JET bumped together going into the bend and they both lost a little momentum.
Race 12	Foxton Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	MATISSE was a little slow to begin and settled back. UPAHUT CINDY shifted out from the start and hampered ADDICTED which settled back and UPAHUT CINDY shifted out again going to the first corner and dictated the line of EL JETTA which was forced to race wide covering extra ground. ODE TO LIBERTY shifted out on the bend into the line of ADDICTED which was again hampered and he lost ground and stayed back to finish at the rear.
