Track: Good The track had been dressed with sand the day prior to the meeting and was presented in very good order and with all equipment working well, the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305	HOMEBUSH ENVY was slow to begin losing two lengths and settled back. DUTCHESS QUEEN and HIGH CALIBRE jostled together for several strides soon after the start and HIGH CALIBRE then shifted in putting pressure on VINNIE BAXTER, GO RUSSEL GO and DUTCHESS QUEEN and they were eventually checked losing three lengths and they stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305	THUNDER TIME and HO HO HO came together and bumped losing ground at the start. GROOVY LEO shifted in going to the first corner and checked NO NO ROMEO and SHELDON BAXTER and they lost two lengths. ALL FOR ONE checked off the heels of GROOVY LEO going into the bend and shifted out checking THUNDER TIME which lost two lengths.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C0 Ht1 - C0q - 520 Heat 1	BIG JOB JONESY slipped behind in its initial stride out of the boxes losing several lengths and she tailed the field throughout the race. BUSTER BOY was a little slow to being and settled back.
Race 4	Gary Ross Decorator C0 Ht2 - C0q - 520 Heat 2	HOMEBUSH CRASH and TRIGGER ZIP were a little slow to begin and settled back. TRIGGER ZIP then checked over the heels of OPIE BOSSMAN going into the first corner and raced wide on the bend losing ground. He continued to lose ground and appeared to have an awkward galloping action , was not striding out at all and finished a long last and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 5	Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 305	ASCHENPUTTLE shifted in going into the first corner and caused tightening and checks to RED HOT DUTCH, SYDENHAM BUBBLES and NINA BE GOOD and they all lost ground and stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 6	Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305	ANOTHER DRINK began awkwardly , shifted in and checked off the back of SEDGEBROOK GLORY losing ground and he stayed at the rear throughout the race.
Race 7	Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305	FACE THE DEMON shifted in from the start and collided with JAGER and they lost ground and settled back. ZAMADDIS LASS and MIC PLAYER angled out into the clear going into the bend and as a result, JAGER was checked and lost two lengths.
Race 8	Happy 70th Allan Hall C1 - C1 - 520	DARBY LANE was slow to begin losing two lengths. RUNS LIKE AL and SUE SEWS SOCKS jostled together going into the first bend and they lost ground. GEORGE raced in mid field until approaching the final bend where he began to lose ground and he drifted back and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 9	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 Final - C1 - 305
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520	THIRSTY KELVIN checked over the heels of TEN POINT ONE going intoo the first bend and shifted out forcing BELLE CADEAU and GUCCI RUSH wide and all three lost ground and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 11	Morrie Gibbons Signs C2 - C2 - 305	SEDGEBROOK LAD was slow to begin losing two lengths. YALDHURST EDWARD shifted in going to the first corner and bumped SMIDGED onto the hind quarters of SYDENHAM OPAL and they both lost ground. YEAH NAH shifted out going into the bend and dictated the line of SYDENHAM OPAL and YALDHURST EDWARD and they were forced to race wide into the bend covering extra ground and stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 305	CAWBOURNE DARCY wanted to race away from the rail going to the first corner and shifted out making contact with UNO ORANGE and dropped back two lengths. Soon after, THRILLING MIGHT shifted in and hampered UNO ORANGE for a few strides and she too lost two lengths but ran on well to finish in 2nd place.
