| Race 1 | Central Water Carriers Welcome - C1 - 390 | Approaching the bend BEADMAN shifted outwards which resulted in tightening to WANDY FEATHER and MAGGIE DEE. The trailing STARBURST BENNY was severely checked as a result. Rounding the bend WANDY FEATHER ran out with HAZZA'S LAD and DRIVE FIVE being forced to race wide on the bend. BEADMAN raced wide throughout the bend. |
| Race 2 | SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C1 - 390 | Shortly after the start PEP'S POP and SHEEZA FLOWER made contact with SHEEZA FLOWER losing its momentum. CAWBOURNE POLLY checked off the heels of AYKROYD forcing EMILY PATRICK wider on the bend. PEP'S POP ran out on the bend forcing PUKEKO EXPRESS wider on the track. |

| Race 5 | Added Energy Stakes - C4 - 457 | BOB'S EYE and OPAWA WEBBY made contact on several occasions approaching the bend with SMASH AMY being checked between these runners. BOB'S EYE raced wide rounding the turn. In the home straight SMASH AMY checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH VIOLET. |
| Race 6 | ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C4/5 - 457 | All dogs were removed from the boxes prior to the start after there was a delay to the start due to a communication break down with race day control. On the bend CAWBOURNE RENEE shifted outwards making contact with ANOTHER COLT and FINN MCMISSILE with these runners losing their momentum. PRIMITIVE shifted outwards on the bend forcing DYNA GROLL outwards. PRIMITIVE raced wide in the home straight. |

OPAWA STYLE shifted inwards over the early stages checking COVER TO COVER which lost several lengths. On the bend HOMEBUSH ESME shifted outwards abruptly forcing COVER TO COVER wide on the track. After being crossed for the lead BOTANY SEATON shifted outwards sharply. TEAM DREAM raced wide entering the home straight. |

OPAWA WALLY was checked approaching the bend when checking off the heels of BOTANY PETE which had improved to the lead. FINGER POP checked off PUKEKO THUNDER on the bend then raced wide. |

COOL BEAR shifted outwards at the start simultaneously as MARY MARLOW shifted inwards with SMASH DORA being checked. SOPHIE'S TERRA raced wide throughout the running. HETFIELD raced wide entering the home straight. WANDY CHLOE and BLACK TRIGGER both made contact turning into the home straight. |
