Track: Good Due to the timing equipment being under repair and those repairs not yet completed, all races for todays meeting were manually timed.. The track was presented in very good order and with all equipment working well , the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	ADDIS MATE proved a little difficult to load into the boxes and was then slow to begin, raced wide after starting from box 8 and finished in last place. STIFF DRINK shifted in from the start and hampered COYOTE CAUGHT YA, INDIVIDUAL LILY and PATS ALL ROUND and they all lost some momentum for a couple of strides.
Race 2	Woodville Sprint C1 - C1 - 375	The favourite EXPLODING was slow to begin and settled back. Soon after EXPLODING and YOUR ON FIRE jostled together losing ground and TEN ELEVEN then shifted out and hampered them both. A few strides further on SHOWEM BABY checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH ANABEL, shifted out and caused checks to YOUR ON FIRE, EXPLODABLE and THRILLING HALO which all lost ground and finished in the rear group.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C1 - C1 - 375	COOL HEIR was very slow to begin losing three lengths but he made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. SARAH'S COOL shifted in on the bend and hampered LECHETT IN EDDIE for several strides and eventually LOCKETT IN EDDIE was checked and fell. ANOTHER DRINK and CHELSEA'S BEAUTY were also checked in the incident losing three lengths. LOCKETT IN EDDIE regained his feet and finished onto the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 4	Manawatu Raceway Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	SPOT ON MAGGIE was a little slow to begin and settled back. THRILLING BERT shifted in going to the first corner and checked KING'S LEGACY which lost two lengths. THRILLING BERT was one of the better supported runners but failed to race up to expectations and finished last and was referred to the Vet for assessment as a precaution and cleared of injury.
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C2 - C2 - 375	GONE AWOL was very slow to begin losing several lengths and all chance and she tailed the field throughout.
Race 6	Marton Stakes C2 - C2 - 457	BIGTIME TIP and QUEEN ROWDY bumped together going to the first corner and BIGTIME TIP shifted out going into the bend and checked QUEEN ROWDY which lost three lengths, went back to last and stayed there to finish in that position
Race 7	Ashurst Dash C3 - C3 - 375	HOMEBUSH COCO shifted in from the start and hampered KNOW FAULT and FIRE BOY BAXTER and all three lost momentum and settled well back where they stayed for the remainder of the race.
Race 8	www.racingdogs.co.nz C4 - C4 - 375	KNOW LIES was slow to begin and then raced wide on the bend covering extra ground but finiished well for 3rd place. LITTLE BLACKSPOT and KNOW WISDOM which drew the inside two boxes were toghtened and lost ground going to the first corner when outside runners shifted in and they were placed in restricted room. SHANGHAI SAM shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to ALL THE RAGE and HOT KING COLE and they lost three lengths.
Race 9	NZRS Advanced C4-C5 Final - NZRSf - 457	THRILLING BLITZ and RENE RANGER shifted ground when the start was made and RODRIGUEZ which was drawn in between was checked and settled back. KNOW ESCAPE was held up when racing in restricted room between GRIZZ and HELLO ELLO going into the first turn. HELLO ELLO also lost a little ground in the incident when jostling with KNOW ESCAPE.
Race 10	Shannon Dash C5 - C5 - 375	DRYSDALE was the slowest to begin but made up ground very well to win the race. THRILLING HAVOC shifted in going to the first corner and caused checks to itself and also RED MOOVA HOOVA , CHARMING NEV and EVER SO HOPEFUL and they all lost three lengths. DARLYNE OTTEY checked off the back of DADDY LOWE approaching the home turn and she lost two lengths and her momentum for a couple of strides.
Race 11	Feilding Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	MAMMY BROWN shifted in going to the first corner and tightened BUMPA STICKA, NECTER and SNOW PHOENIX and they lost ground. Soon after, INDIANA IZMIR shifted in as BUMPA STICKER tended to race away from the rail and this placed NECTER and SNOW PHOENIX in restricted room and they were checked losing three lengths and they never recovered and finished at the rear.
Race 12	Foxton Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	THRILLING BRAVE was slow to begin losing three lengths but he was quickly into stride and soon made up the lost ground and went on to win with ease. GRADUATION shifted out going into the bend and forced WHATS UP GEE and BIG TOKEN to race wide on the bend.
