Judicial report: Trainer Josh Lane was questioned in regards to being late to complete kennelling. His explanation was accepted on this occasion but he was warned to ensure he kennelled his dogs at the correct time. Trainer Rosemary Blackburn was questioned after being late to retrieve her dog for Race 3. Her explanation was accepted on this occasion and she was reminded of her obligations in this regard.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	ZED KAY MAN (3) was last to jump. NITRO EXPRESS (5) was tightened in the early stages and lost ground with this runner then covering extra ground on the bend WELLYWOOD (2) ran wide into the bend losing a length.
Race 2	Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C0 - 295	TODDY'S A FLYER (10) was last to jump. HOT TEA (6) ran inwards in the initial stages checking BUBLIN JED (5) who lost ground. Into the bend VIENNA (3) ran outwards causing severe checks to CAWBOURNE BEAU (4), TRUMPED UP (9) and TODDY'S A FLYER who all lost their winning chances. Trainer Rosemary Blackburn advised Stewards that VIENNA would no longer be racing out of her kennel.
Race 3	Bill's Bar & Bistro Dash - C1 - 295	OHOKA HART (6) ducked inwards for a stride in the early stages and came together with WORD FOR WORD (5). COOL BEAR (2) received a check into the bend and lost momentum for a stride.
Race 4	Carol's T.A.B. Sprint - C1 - 295	STARBURST BENNY (4) and RED EYE MAX (5) were both slow to jump. MER DE NOMS (6) ran inwards making heavy contact with GLENN IS GOODSEY (3) in the early stages. GLENN IS GOODSEY then angled inwards checking NOISY LEO who lost ground. RED EYE MAX ran outwards into the bend checking GRACY RACER (2) and NOISY LEO with this trio losing their chances. CLAREMONT DIVA (8) checked outwards off GLENN IS GOODSEY on the home turn and lost ground.
Race 5	Awards Dinner 24 August Ph 0274310117 Stakes - C0 - 520	KNOW SMIGGLE (6) was very slow to jump while KNOW RIGHTS (2), KNOW JUDGE (4) and CASINO BLACK (8) were also tardy from the traps. COURT THE BELLE (7) was dragged down for a stride by KNOW JUDGE into the first bend and lost ground. KNOW SMIGGLE then checked outwards off the back of that runner and lost ground with CASINO BLACK being impeded in behind with this runner also being forced wide.
Race 6	Sky High Scaffolding Dash - C1 - 295	BLACK TANK (2) was last to jump. HARPER MEHL (6) ran inwards from the jump tightening EMILY PATRICK (5) and KERAMUS (4) who both lost ground. EMILY PATRICK and BLACK TANK both shifted wide on the home turn.
Race 7	David Emerson Consultancy Stakes - C1 - 520	OPAWA CASSIDY (5) and WHITE LEGS (6) were the last pair on jumping. OPAWA CASSIDY then checked off the back of KNOW TASTE in the run to the first bend and lost a length. WHITE LEGS received a check at the end of the back straight and lost a length.
Race 8	C.T.V. Sprint - C1 - 295	SON OF GRACE (8) was a clear last at the jump with ANOTHER GUNNA also settling well back. Into the bend BELISCONI (4) was badly tightened by MARY MARLOW (5) with BELISCONI dropping back sharply through the field.
Race 9	The Miller Bar & Cafe Stakes - C1 - 520	OPAWA JEAN (7) was last to jump. OPAWA JEAN the dropped out to run a distant last with the vet advising that she had badly tied up. The connections advised that this bitch would be now sent for a spell.
Race 10	Shirley Vet Clinic Dash - C1 - 295	In the back straight STAR GUN (3) ran outwards checking JET EVEN (5) and EMBEE DEE (7). On the home turn JACK'S A JEWEL (2) ran inwards contacting BELFAST SUZY (6) with JACK'S A JEWEL then shifting wider on the track and losing momentum. BELFAST SUZY also ran outwards after this incident checking GOLDSTAR JEANIE (4) who lost ground. When balanced JACK'S A JEWEL ran back down the track checking RITE ROUND RANGE (8) just short of the line with this runner losing momentum and his chance of running third.
Race 11	racingdogs.co.nz Stakes - C1 - 520	GYPSY HUNTER (8) was last to jump. FALSE NOTION (5) ran outwards in the early stages checking BLUSHING BELLE (7) who settled well back. Into the back straight OPAWA LEANNE (1) checked outwards off the heels of BLUSHING BELLE and continued to race wide for the remainder of the race.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C1 - 295	OHOKA SANDY (8) was last to jump. HEAR HARE HERE (9) was tightened into the bend as GO TIMMEE (7) crossed to the rail from his outside. HEAR HARE HERE then ran outwards causing STARBURST PAUL (4), DUCO TO DUCO (3) and OHOKA SANDY all to be inconvenienced and lose ground. On the home turn STARBURST PAUL and CHARLES FREDRICK (5) collided and lost momentum.
