PHAT PANTS (6) shifted outwards marginally tightening HARPER MEHL (7) for a stride. FANTA'S FEVER checked off CAWBOURNE RANGA (5) on the bend losing momentum while on the home turn CAWBOURNE RANGA was checked for a stride and lost a length. |
| Race 2 | Roofing Solutions Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310 | SHEZ KEEN (8) was hard to box in her first raceday start with this bitch being placed on the box first list for her immediate starts. FANTAS FICTION (1) and CAWBOURNE POLLY (2) were both slow to jump with the favourite GOLDSTAR JEANIE (4) also settling well back. MCJOPSON (3) ran outwards checking AIR FLOW (6) in the early stages. MCJOPSON then checked off the back of an improving GOLDSTAR JEANIE into the bend and ran outwards again badly checking AIR FLOW who dropped to the rear. On the bend MCJOPSON angled outwards as FANTAS FICTION ran inwards with SHEZ KEEN being badly tightened in between this pair and losing ground. |
| Race 3 | Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Stakes - C1 - 545 | PARTY ROCK (6) missed the jump and remained a distant last throughout with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment. LAW TO EXCEL (1) checked off the back of MISS ISABELLA (3) into the first bend and lost ground. |
| Race 4 | Pryde Engineering Sprint - C1 - 310 | This race was delayed by 3 minutes at the request of Raceday Control. MULBERRY HUNTER (4) was awkwardly away and dropped to a clear last. CAR BOOTLE (7) angled a touch wide into the bend pushing SOPHIE'S TERRA (6) over extra ground. TAIERI PLAINS (2) and ROB'S MATE (3) came together on two occasions on the home turn when racing in midfield. |
| Race 5 | Speedprint Shop Stakes - C1/2 - 545 | CANDY BELLE (9) angled outwards marginally in the early stages forcing BOTANY SEATON (3) outwards contacting STARBURST HANNAH (4) for a stride. On the first bend CANDY BELLE again shifted outwards placing THRILLING SOUND (8) wider on the track. |
| Race 6 | Green Island Barber Sprint - C2 - 310 | DYNA DIEGO (5) was handy into the bend in a tight group of dogs but got dragged down and lost ground with BLACK TRIGGER (3), HAZZA'S LAD (6) and MY LITTLE OAH (7) all inconvenienced by this incident. Trainer John McInerney was questioned in regards to the form turnaround of the winner CAWBOURNE REEAH. He stated that she has a liking for the Forbury track and received a favourable draw today, adding that she had been badly checked when finishing last at Addington on Friday. |
| Race 7 | Green Island Super Liquor Sprint - C4 - 310 | CAWBOURNE DUSTY (4) was a stride slow to jump. CAWBOURNE DUSTY was then held up in the back straight when attempting to improve. On the home turn BOLT RAMA (2) and CAWBOURNE DUSTY tangled for a stride when at the rear. |
| Race 8 | Roofing Solutions Stakes - C3 - 545 | BOB'S EYE (6) angled outwards into the first bend checking BONE NERD (7) who lost a length. Soon after CAWBOURNE HEIDI (10) also ran outwards checking CAWBOURNE KIM (4). |
| Race 9 | Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Stakes - C4/5 - 545 | The strapping on HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (5) came loose on the way to the boxes with this being replaced before the start. The siblings HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (5) and HOMEBUSH VIOLET (2) came together into the first bend with HOMEBUSH CHOPPER dropping to the rear and remaining there throughout. |
| Race 10 | St Kilda Veterinary Centre Sprint - C4 - 310 | LITTLE MIDNIGHT (4) was the last to jump. TRICKY HARRY (1) angled outwards into the bend checking PRINCELY DOLLAR (2) and WANDY PAUL (6). On the bend RINGA DING (8) checked off the back of LITTLE MIDNIGHT and lost ground. |
