Track: Good The meeting proceeded without any major problems . The Club recently installed padding on the corners of the outside fence in the interests of the welfare of the Greyhounds should they for any reason make contact with the fence during races.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The registration papers for ANOTHER BECKY, a starter in race 1 were not presented and the dog was allowed to start but the provisions of Rule 68.9 were enacted and the prize money won for ANOTHER BECKY's 2nd placing is to be held by the Club until the papers are presented.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C2 - C2 - 305	I'M A CATCH, YALDHURST EDWARD and SEDGEBROOK LAD were slow to begin and settled back. REGINA HAKA shifted in from the start and caused jostling to SUPREME SHELLEEN and EXCESSIVE SPEED and they lost a little momentum. YALDHURST EDWARD shifted in going into the first corner and checked SUPREME SHELLEEN and I'M A CATCH which made firm contact with the rail and they both lost ground. I'M A CATCH was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C2 - C2 - 305	One of the favourites GONE AWOL was slow to begin losing three lengths and she stayed back throughout the race to finish last. QUEEN COBRA began awkwardly and shifted out to make contact with ANOTHER PIZZA and they settled back. ANOTHER PIZZA suffered a toe injury and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C2 - C2 - 520	QUEEN ROWDY began a little awkwardly and shifted in making contact with HAIR HE IS but she recovered quickly to lead and went on to win the race. BOSTON CHANEL ran a little wide into the first corner and was checked from behind when galloped on by WAIMAK DAVE and they lost three lengths. BOSTON CHANEL made up ground well from there to finish in 2nd place but WAIMAK DAVE stayed back and finished last.
Race 4	Gary Ross Decorator C3 - C3 - 305	SNUFFALOPOGAS shifted in from the start and hampered MEGA RUSH and UNO GREEN and they settled back. SNUFFALOPOGAS drew box 8 and was forced to race wide covering extra ground and she finished last. HOMEBUSH CRAIG and UNO GREEN bumped together on the bend and lost ground.
Race 5	Palamountains Nutrition C3 - C3 - 305	CAWBOURNE REEAH shifted in from the start and OPAWA CHARLIE had to check off its heels losing a length. CAWBOURNE REEAH faltered on the bend when racing in the clear and she drifted off the back of the field to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 6	Mickey's Super Liquor C3 - C3 - 520	The favourite WAY TOO CRUDE was a little slow to begin and then bumped with CAWBOURNE KESHA soon after and settled back. ALAMEIN JAH shifted out going into the first bend and bumped WAY TOO CRUDE and he was checked again entering the back straight losing two lengths. WAY TOO CRUDE did make up some ground after an interrupted run and he finished in 4th place.
Race 7	Morrie Gibbons Signs C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	COSMIC FURY was very slow to begin losing four lengths but he made up ground very well to finish in 3rd place. ANOTHER COFFEE shifted in on the first corner and checked RANDO REASON which which galloped on her heels and they both lost four lengths and finished at the rear.
Race 8	The Rock 95.2FM C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	MATTI OAH was slow to begin losing three lengths. GEORGE BAXTER shifted out and BELKARA shifted in from the start and this resulted in tightening and checks to FLYING FLYNN, ALL THE RAGE and UNO ALLEGRO which all lost ground and went back to the rear. There was futher tightening a little further on when SHANGHAI SAM shifted out and SLANGEVAR shifted in and as a result of thier movement, GEORGE BAXTER and BELKARA were also hampered for a short distance.
Race 9	Guthrie Bowron C4 Final - C4f - 305	WATERBUG, SECRET SPRITE and ANOTHER GON jostled together soon after the start and SECRET SPRITE settled back. HOT KING COLE went to the lead going into the bend and shifted in causiing checks to LITTLE RASCAL and HOMEBUSH DOMINO which both lost a little ground. Soon after, ANOTHER GON shifted out checking SWAPAN which fell but was quickly on his feet and finished onto the lure in last place. LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE was hampered in the incident and also lost ground. SWAPAN was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 10	Wanganui Security C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	CHAINSAW PETE, BIGTIME KAREN and HYPOTENTIAL were all severely checked on the first corner with CHAINSAW PETE and HYPOTENTIAL almost falling and all three lost several lengths and finished at the rear.
Race 11	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C5 - C5 - 305	HEY YOU checked over the heels of ROSEMORE OSTI going to the first corner and shifted out onto RED MOOVA HOOVA which was pushed a little wide on the track. EVER SO HOPEFUL checked off the back of HOMEBUSH HELEN on the first corner and lost ground and soon after, HEY YOU shifted out taking RED MOOVA HOOVA wide on the bend and both dogs became unbalanced for a few strides.
Race 12	Christmas @ The Races 6th-13th- 20th December C5 - C5 - 305	ANOTHER COLT was slow to begin losing three lengths and he stayed well back throughout the race. KINETIC NEO shifted out going into the bend and forced WHERE'S CHICKEN wide over extra ground and he finished in last place. IONA HAKA was observed to be limping following the race and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
