| Race 1 | Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457 | BILLY HOLMES and ADDA BOY ZEKE bumped together going to the first corner and COYOTE CAUGHT YA then shifted in forcing ADDA BOY ZEKE in onto BILLY HOLMES and this resulted in CONNECT THE DOTS which was following, clipping the heels of BILLY HOLMES and all three lost ground in the incident. |
| Race 2 | Woodville Sprint C0 - C0 - 375 | ALL FOR ONE and INDIVIDUAL LILY collided when the start was made and ALL FOR ONE lost two lengths and went back to the rear. SNOOKY BEAR raced very wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground and finished in last place. ANOTHER STONE was handy to the lead going to the first corner but then drifted through the field to near last and stayed back for the remainder of the race and was referred to the Vet for assessment. |
| Race 3 | J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 457 | The favourite KERAMUS was one of the slowest to begin but made up ground very quickly to lead on the first corner. However ,this was his first start over more than a sprint distance and he tired in the home straight and finished in 3rd place. FLOSSY HAKA drifted to the rear going to the first corner and stayed back to finish several lengths last and her galloping action appeared awkward and she was referred to the Vet for assessment. |
| Race 4 | Manawatu Raceway Sprint C2 - C2 - 375 | JOLOKIA and SHAGA BANGA BANG bumped together going into the first corner and SHAGA BANGA BANG went back several places and was galloped on by ENDORSE and dragged down behind losing several lengths. SHAGA BANGA BANG finished in last place and was sore following the race and was referred to the Vet for assessment. |
| Race 5 | Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C2 Final - C2f - 375 | OPAWA CHARLIE was slow to begin and settled at the rear. He then raced very wide covering extra ground and finished in the rear group. |
| Race 6 | Advanced NZRS Heat 1 C4-5 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1 | KNOW ATTEMPT was slow to begin losing two lengths. He then checked off the heels of BARRY'S WAY going into the bend and shifted out to collide with OSTAPCHUK, blundered and lost several lengths and stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 7 | Advanced NZRS Heat 2 C4-5 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2 | JUST MAC began awkwardly losing four lengths and he tailed the field throughout the race and finished in last place. KNOW CLASS was also a little slow to begin losing two lengths but he made up ground to finish in 4th place. |
| Race 8 | Advanced NZRS Heat 3 C4-5 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 3 | SPACE RACE shifted in from the start and dictated the line of ANOTHER BREEZE which then had to check over the heels of THRILLING HAVOC and lost two lengths. THRILLING HAVOC then shifted in and crowded NECTER for several strides until she eventually had to check from a tight position adjacent to the rail and NECTER lost five lengths in the incident. |
| Race 9 | Marton Dash C4 - C4 - 375 | MOODY MAN began awkwardly and then became unbalanced for a few strides , lost several lengths and tailed the field throughout the race. UNO ALLEGRO and HOT KING COLE bumped together on the bend losing a little ground and TALK IT OVER was also hampered when attempting to move around the other two runners. |
| Race 10 | Ashurst Dash C3 - C3 - 375 | OPAWA PRINCE drifted off the back of the field on the bend and finished several lengths last . OPAWA PRINCE was observed to have an awkward galloping action and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 11 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C5 - C5 - 375 | CHARMING NEV shifted out going to the first corner and checked FEEL THE VIBE which blundered and lost two lengths. DARLYNE OTTEY shifted in going to the first corner and jostled with LITTLE BLACKSPOT for several strides. EVER SO HOPEFUL then shifted in dictating DARLYNE OTTEY onto LITTLE BLACKSPOT which was checked losing several lengths and he never recovered. |
| Race 12 | Foxton Stakes C3 - C3 - 457 | FASTBACK KING shifted in from the start and checked RITZA JACK which lost ground and settled back. EL JETTA appeared to clip a heel going into the bend and fell and RITZA JACK had to hurdle the fallen runner and lost ground as a result. KNOW WISDOM was checked on the bend when racing between DECEIVER and CRUSHED MONKEY and he lost several lengths and stayed back to finish near the rear. EL JETTA was referred to the Vet for assessment. |
