Track: Good The track was presented in good order and with all equipment working well, the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Judicial report: Trainer J Woolston Bell was fined $ 100-00 under the Minor Infringement Table for a breach of Rule 69.11 when AGENT VICTOR weighed 1.8 kilograms up in weight from his last start on 02.08.13.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	LITTLE BLACKSPOT shifted out when the start was made and hampered JUST A BOY which settled back. WEE DIGER shifted out going into the bend and collided with JUST A BOY and they lost three lengths and stayed back to finish at the rear. JUST A BOY was referred to the Vet for assessment as he appeared to be uncomfortable in his galloping action.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C2 - C2 - 520	GRADUATION shifted in from the start and caused checks to SUMMER TENSION and THRILLING AVA and they lost ground and settled at the rear. GRADUATION continued to shift in going to the first corner and hampered EXCITED ROYALE for a few strides. QUEEN ROWDY shifted in going into the first bend and collided with BIGTIME TIP with both dogs becoming unbalanced and QUEEN ROWDY lost three lengths. BOTANY MOLLY raced well back throughout and finished last and was observed to be sore following the race and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C3 - C3 - 305	OPAWA PRINCE and YALDHURST EDWARD were a little slow to begin and they collided soon after the start and settled back. TALEEDY TROOPER shifted in going into the bend and caused tightening to AGENT VICTOR and KEZZ which were placed in restricted room for several strides and lost ground. YALDHURST EDWARD and TALEEDY TROOPER came together and bumped in the home straight and they both lost momentum.
Race 4	Gary Ross Decorator C3 - C3 - 305	UNO GREEN began awkwardly and lost a little ground but then secured a clear run through the field and finished in 2nd place. HOMEBUSH RICK shifted in going to the first corner and put pressure onto MEGA RUSH for some distance until MEGA RUSH was checked back to the rear and she never recovered. SCOTT NO MONEY shared the lead racing between FIERY DANCER and FIERCE STAR going into the bend but was checked and went back a couple of lengths. SCOTT NO MONEY was then checked again as HOMEBUSH RICK moved through on the inside and she went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 5	Palamountains Nutrition C4 Ht1 - C4q - 305 Heat 1	STARLA was the slowest to begin but she made up ground well with the assistance of a clear inside run and won the race. MISSING MELODY and ATE POWER jostled together for some distance in the run to the first corner and they eventually checked losing several lengths and finished well back in the rear group. WORKING WORKING shifted out on the home turn and checked UNO ALLEGRO which lost two lengths. One of the better supported runners MISS FOXY MINX drew box 8 and was forced to race wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in 5th place.
Race 6	Mickey's Super Liquor C4 Ht2 - C4q - 305 Heat 2	TAWNY PORT began awkwardly losing three lengths and he stayed well back throughout the race. DONKEY DEEP appeared to falter going into the bend and drifted back from there to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 7	Morrie Gibbons Signs C4 Ht3 - C4q - 305 Heat 3	BELKARA was bumped on several occasions in the run to the first corner when racing between GEORGE BAXTER and MATILDA'S BABE and she lost ground as a result and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 8	The Rock 95.2FM C3 - C3 - 520	THRILLING CAIRO shifted in from the start and caused tightening and checks to CAWBOURNE BREE, EL JETTA, ANOTHER DOLLAR and WHATS UP GEE and they all lost some ground. CAWBOURNE BREE, ANOTHER COURSE and MI TI PA were checked going into the first bend and they lost ground, settled at the rear and stayed back to the finish. ANOTHER DOLLAR was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 9	Guthrie Bowron C3 - C3 - 305	KANGO KLINK was slow to begin and settled at the rear. KANGO KLINK then went off stride going into the bend and drifted back to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. SANDS OF TIME checked off the heels of EXCESSIVE SPEED on the home turn and lost two lengths.
Race 10	Wanganui Security C3/4 - C3/4 - 520	SNOW PHOENIX shifted in from the start and forced FALSE IMPRESSION in onto BUDDY BROKE and they all lost ground and settled back. FALSE IMPRESSION shifted in going into the first turn and checked KYLIES BELLE which lost four lengths. RENE RANGER shifted in going into the back straight and checked RED CRYSTAL which went back onto HELLO ELLO and they lost two lengths.RED CRYSTAL was in 2nd position going into the final bend but was checked from behind and fell and FALSE IMPRESSION was brought down in the incident. SNOW PHOENIX was also affected in the incident losing several lengths. RED CRYSTAL and FALSE IMPRESSION were referred to the Vet for assessment and FALSE IMPRESSION was found to have some minor bruising and RED CRYSTAL was cleared of injury
Race 11	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	SECRET STAR and ERUZA bumped together soon after the start and ERUZA lost ground and settled back. RUN LACEY RUN shifted in going into the first corner and crowded CHAINSAW PETE and WHERE'S CHICKEN and they went back and ATTIRE which was following had to check and lost three lengths.
Race 12	Christmas @ The Races 13th and 20th December C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	RED MOOVA HOOVA shifted out across the heels of JILL SPRITE going into the bend and hampered STIFF and FLYING FLYNN with all three dogs losing three lengths and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
