| Race 1 | Super Pets Dash - C2 - 295 | CAMRAY (3) and ANOTHER SNAZZA (6) were the last pair on jumping. OKUKU BOBO (2) was tightened in the run to the bend as WANDY DESTINY (4) angled inwards with OKUKU BOBO losing ground. BOTANY JESSIE (1) was then tightened on the bend and ran outwards checking HOMEBUSH ESME (5) and ANOTHER SNAZZA who in turn pushed HOT SHOT LAWYER (8) very wide on that bend. |
| Race 2 | Bill's Bar & Bistro Maiden Sprint Heat - C0q - 295 Heat 1 | HOMEBUSH ENVY (3) and SHELDON BAXTER (6) was the slowest into stride. PEP'S POT (1) was tightened into the bend and lost ground causing considerable interference to THIAGO (5), SHELDON BAXTER and CELOSIA (2) with this last pair being badly checked and losing their feet. Both of these dogs ran to the lure and were cleared of any injury. HOT TEA (4) was checked on the home turn and lost ground. |
| Race 3 | Bill's Bar & Bistro Maiden Sprint Heat - C0q - 295 Heat 2 | In a very straggly start the slowest of them all was KERAMUS GIRL (8). PREMIER LILLY (9) was tightened at the end of the back straight as HOMEBUSH CRASH (5) ran inwards with PREMIER LILLY dropping to the rear. BOWMAN (1) was keen to get off the rail and into the bend pushed CAWBOURNE BEAU (2) wider on the track. CAWBOURNE BEAU then shifted down the track and came together with TAI BAXTER (3) with CAWBOURNE BEAU losing ground. |
| Race 4 | Bill's Bar & Bistro Maiden Sprint Heat - C0q - 295 Heat 3 | The favourite TERRA ANNIE (5) turned in the boxes and took no part in the race. This bitch completed a box trial after the last race GO PATCH (2) was slow to jump. FLEUR DU LIYS (6) ran inwards sharply in the back straight causing a slight check to YABBA YABBA (4) and terminal checks to HOMEBUSH ZELDA (3) and GO PATCH (2) who lost their chances. The winner ABOGADO (1) was knocked over at the lure and referred to the vet with no injury being detected. |
| Race 5 | Bill's Bar & Bistro Maiden Sprint Heat - C0q - 295 Heat 4 | VINNIE BAXTER (5) and ZOE BRAND (8) were the last pair on jumping. JOEY'S SECRET (4) ran outwards in the back straight checking WONGWAY GEORGIE (7) who lost ground with ZOE BRAND being kept wide on the track. |
| Race 6 | Johnny Midnight At Stud Stakes - C0 - 520 | OPAWA CUDDLES (7) was very slow to jump with MIDNIGHT RAFA (6) also settling towards the rear. Into the first bend KNOW RIGHTS (1) checked outwards off the back of LACEY (10) with COURT THE BELLE (5) and OPAWA TANIA (4) being forced wide to avoid these runners. OPAWA CUDDLES also ran very wide at this stage. Shortly after MIDNIGHT RAFA also checked sharply wide when clipping the heels of LACEY with KNOW RIGHTS being severely checked in this incident and losing his chance. |
| Race 7 | Sky High Scaffolding Sprint - C2 - 295 | CEC DIVINE (1) and AVERSION (6) were the last pair from the traps. On the bend MAKE YOUR POINT (3) was badly checked when racing to the outside of ANOTHER BECKY (2) and dropped to the rear. Following the race VISUAL ILLUSION was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 8 | christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Sprint - C2/3 - 295 | AS FAR AS (8) was last to jump. KNOW FAULT (4) angled inwards in the early stages dictating the line of HOMEBUSH CRUDEN (3) and BLICKLING BRIDGE (2). FINGER POP (5) checked off the heels of WANDY GAYLENE (7) on the bend and lost a length. |
| Race 9 | Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C2 - 520 | COVER TO COVER (6) was a clear last at the jump. The pacemaking TEAM DREAM (8) was dragged down by LAUDABLE (3) on the first bend and lost momentum although retained the lead. LAUDABLE lost a length at this stage with CAWBOURNE HEIDI traversing wide to avoid this runner. This pushed COVER TO COVER over extra ground. In behind THRILLING JONAH (2) was unable to avoid these runners and fell. THRILLING JONAH regained his paws and chased the field with no injury being detected. |
| Race 10 | Terra Keroma At Stud Dash - C2 - 295 | WAIMAK DAVE (6) was last to jump with TAIERI PLAINS (3) also settling well back. ANOTHER STREET (5) received some jostling in the back straight and lost ground. CAWBOURNE FLIPPA (2) was tightened on the bend and dropped to a clear last. |
| Race 11 | Garrard's Horse And Hound Dash - C2/3 - 295 | FIREMAN'S ROCKET (1), BIT PICCADILLY (3) and KNOW WISDOM (8) were the last trio at the jump. BILLY MUGGINS (5) and FIREMAN'S ROCKET were both tightened into the bend and lost ground as WANDY PAUL (6) angled towards the rail. Following the race BIT PICCADILLY was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C2/3 - 295 | CAWBOURNE KESHA (7) was last to jump. SMASH AMEGO (2) and RUNWAY QUEEN (1) were both tightened into the bend and lost ground as HOORAY FOR HAZEL (3) crossed from their outside. |
