| Race 1 | Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305 | FASA MAN and HOMEBUSH CORAL were slow to begin losing two lengths. EXPONENTIIAL LILY shifted out from the start and checked WORRY WART and STIFF DRINK and they lost a little ground. WORRY WART, SNOOKY BEAR and STIFF DRINK were all checked losing three lengths going into the bend and they stayed back for the remainder of the race. WORRY WART was awkward in her galloping action following the check and she finished in last place and was referred to the Vet for assessment. FASA MAN shifted out going into the bend and raced very wide on the track covering considerable extra ground and finished in 6th place. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305 | INDIVIDUAL LILY and GO RUSSEL GO both began awkwardly losing ground and settling back. THUNDER TIME, HO HO HO and GROOVY LEO jostled together for several strides going to the first corner , became unbalanced and lost ground. After being slow away, INDIVIDUAL LILY went forward quickly but had to check off the heels of THUNDER TIME on the first turn and went back onto HO HO HO with both losing ground. CAWBOURNE RAVE was hampered and lost a length when shifting in across the heels of the winner SPOT ON MAGGIE in the home straight. |
| Race 3 | J P Print, Petone C0 - C0 - 305 | HOMEBUSH ENVY was slow to begin losing two lengths but then made up ground to finish in 4th place. ONE EAR POISED was also a little slow to begin and then soon after the start , COYOTE CAUGHT YA shifted in abruptly and severely checked ONE EAR POISED which almost fell and lost several lengths and all chance. ONE EAR POISED was referred to the Vet for assessment as a precaution. |
| Race 4 | Gary Ross Decorator C0 - C0 - 520 | BEV'S VIEWPOINT shifted in from the start and hampered VINNY DOON which lost ground and settled back. ICAHN shifted out soon after the start and caused jostling to BACKYARD QUEEN and BEV'S VIEWPOINT and soon after, GUCCI RUSH shifted in caused further tightening. ICAHN and BEV'S VIEWPOINT then collided going into the first bend losing several lengths and they stayed back for the remainder of the race. |
| Race 5 | Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 305 | SARAH'S COOL , LAVENDER SAL and TAIKOREA LASS jostled together for several strides soon after the start . SARAH'S COOL then shifted in and caused tightening and checks to ANOTHER DRINK, BULET TOOTH TONY , SCARILICIOUS and MAC TAN with SCARILICIOUS the most affected and she almost fell and tailed the field from there to the finish. SCARILICIOUS was observed to be lame following the race and was referred to the Vet for assessment. MAC TAN and LAVENDER SAL collided and lost momentum in the home straight. |
| Race 6 | Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305 | JIMMY THE BUCK and RANDOM ACT began awkwardly and settled back. CAWBOURNE BANKSY shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to ZAMADDIS LASS, HOMEBUSH LIMBO , JIMMY THE BUCK and HOMEBUSH JULIE and they all lost ground with JIMMY THE BUCK the most affected and he lost five lengths and stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 7 | Keenan Concrete C1 Heat 1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 | EMBEE DEE was slow to begin losing three lengths. GEORGE shifted out across the heels of SUE SEWS SOCKS going into the back straight and lost four lengths. |
| Race 8 | Wanganui Security C1 Heat 2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2 | BELLDEEN shifted out from the start and checked DARBY LANE and TIME FOR WHAT and they lost two lengths. CAWBOURNE PENNY was checked entering the back straight losing three lengths and she stayed back to finish in 2nd last place. ANOTHER GUNNA was handy enough unti lgoing into the last bend where he began to drift and eventually finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 9 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 Heat 3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3 | MIGHTY BAXTER was slow to begin and settled back and he stayed there throughout the race. CARAT'S PRINCE shiifted out going into the first bend and forced ARMISTICE DAY to race wide over extra ground. |
| Race 10 | Broad Roofing C1 Heat 4 - C1q - 520 Heat 4 | COLD TURKEY was slow to begin losing three lengths and she stayed back throughout the race and was referred to the Vet for assessment for a toenail injury. OPAWA TOKEN checked over the heels of ANOTHER ANOTHER and DOLL PARTS and lost ground going into the first bend. ANOTHER ANOTHER bumped with DOLL PARTS on the home turn and DOLL PARTS was forced wide on the track. |
| Race 11 | Morrie Gibbons Signs C1 - C1 - 305 | OPAWA GIFT was slow to begin losing three lengths and he stayed back throughout the race and finished in 2nd last place. HOMEBUSH ANABEL and BLAIR NINETY collided going into the bend and both lost three lengths and they finished in the rear group. |
| Race 12 | The Rock 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305 | JUDY IN DISGUISE began well and was handy to the lead going to the first cornner but was checked from behind by JAGER and became unbalanced and went quickly back to last where she stayed until the finish. JAGER shifted out going into the bend and checked FLIRT ACADEMY and ASCHENPUTTEL and they lost two lengths and all momentum and never recovered the lost ground. |
