Track: Good The lure driver had some difficulty controlling the lure between the allowable 5 - 8 metres due to the prevailing strong and gusty winds. Stewards were satisfied that no greyhound had been affected by this.
Scales: Correct at 20kgs
Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Mr J Allen the trainer of QUIET SNORT made application under Rule 80.7 for the cancellation of an endorsement under Rule 80.1.a as the dog has completed ten races without similar offence. Stewards approved the application and endorsed the papers accordingly.

Race 1	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C1 - 310	In the run to the turn SANDI CLAWS shifted out and checked LA FONTAINE. Shortly afterwards JUMPIN SALLY ran out and checked SANDI CLAWS who became unbalanced and brushed the running rail. On the turn DRIVE FIVE clipped the heels of LA FONTAINE with both dogs losing ground.
Race 2	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C0 - 310	SMOOCHY JEWEL and JOEY'S SECRET were slow to jump. Into the turn ZAHRA ran inwards and tightened UNO NOSEY. Shortly thereafter JOEY'S SECRET struck the rear of MANAPOURI with both dogs running wide on the turn. Into the straight MANAPOURI ran in and checked ZAHRA.
Race 3	Speedprint Shop Stakes - C1 - 545	OPAWA JAY was slow to begin. THRILLING SOUND shifted out in the early stages tightening OPAWA JAY and WANDY CHLOE. Approaching the first turn WANDY CHLOE shifted down the track checking OPAWA JAY and THRILLING SOUND. OPAWA JAY checked off the heels of CALM SPIRIT into the turn. Rounding the first turn SEA SPRAY DORIS checked out off the rear of THIRSTY KELVIN severely checking MEGA REXY which was forced wider on the track. SEA SPRAY DORIS ran wide into the back straight and again in the run home.
Race 4	Roofing Solutions Stakes - C2 - 545	BIZARRO, COVER TO COVER and NOGGIN were all slow to jump. COVER TO COVER and LAUDABLE came together on several occasions rounding the first turn. On the final turn LAUDABLE moved down and tightened NOGGIN.
Race 5	Roofing Solutions Sprint - C2 - 310	From the jump WAIMAK DAVE ran inwards checking ANOTHER BECKY and ANOTHER STREET.
Race 6	Forbury Sports Bar Sprint - C4 - 310	SMASH DORA lost ground when slow to jump. PURE AND SPECIAL ran inwards from the jump and tightened STIRLING DANN.
Race 7	Pryde Engineering Stakes - C3 - 545	From the jump FALSE STEP shifted ground outwards and checked BIG TOKEN. Into the first turn OPAWA BOMB checked out off OPAWA STYLE while BOB'S EYE crossed over and checked FALSE STEP with the trailing BIG TOKEN being inconvenienced.
Race 8	Green Island Barber Stakes - C3/4 - 545	OPAWA WEBBY was very slow to jump. CHARLIE'S CHOICE shifted down the track in the early stages checking TEPIRITA RITA. Into the first turn CAWBOURNE KESHA shifted ground outwards checking TEPIRITA RITA, CHARLIE'S CHOICE and OPAWA CASPER. BIGTIME KELINA and CHARLIE'S CHOICE collided turning into the back straight. OPAWA CASPER was referred to the vet for assessment which showed no abnormalities.
Race 9	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Stakes - C5 - 545	On the first bend NO UNDIES SUNDY shifted outwards checking WILD GROVE and OPAWA SWEDE.
Race 10	Otago Triple Hit Heats Round 2 - C5q - 310 Heat 1	CAWBOURNE QUEEN briefly lost her footing on jumping. In the run to the turn ANOTHER COLT checked off the rear of CAWBOURNE QUEEN becoming unbalanced. On the turn CAWBOURNE QUEEN ran outwards forcing ELKI wide.
Race 11	Otago Triple Hit Heats Round 2 - C5q - 310 Heat 2	Into the turn ZEBIDIAH checked off the heels of PRIMITIVE and shifted outwards colliding with BOTANY PRANCER. In the home straight PRIMITIVE shifted outwards checking ZEBIDIAH.
Race 12	Racing Again Tuesday 27th August - C3 - 310	From the jump HOMEBUSH CRUDEN ran down and checked SMASH AMEGO. Into the turn SMASH AMEGO crossed BOLT RAMA with resulting checks to CLAREMONT PIZZAZ and HOMEBUSH CRUDEN.
