Race Number	Race Name	Incident Report
Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	Racing towards the first bend, GOLD STONE cut outwards abruptly making heavy contact with KNOCKA OFF TIME. Shortly after KNOCKA OFF TIME was further hampered when crowded between GOLD STONE and GROOVY LEO which angled in. KNOCKA OFF TIME lost ground as a result and settled at the rear of the field. Rounding the bend, KNOCKA OFF TIME improved up onto the heels of GROOVY LEO and shifted out to obtain clear running. GOLD STONE raced wide rounding the bend and entering the home straight, covering extra ground.
Race 2	Woodville Sprint C1 - C1 - 375	Favourite TARRYN'S PRIDE was slow to begin settling two lengths off the field going into the first bend. TARRYN'S PRIDE then raced wide rounding the bend and never recovered from there on finishing in last position. SAND BUSTER angled wider approaching the bend making heavy contact with TEN ELEVEN and THRILLING HALO with both runners losing their footing momentarily. SNAP TO IT ran wide entering the home straight colliding with DOLL PARTS and forcing that runner over extra ground. Stewards viewed video coverage of the incident and were satisfied that at no stage SNAP TO IT turn it's head toward DOLL PARTS. Shortly after DOLL PARTS bumped with SNAP TO IT which bacame unbalanced briefly.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone ) C1 - C1 - 375	BLACK MERCEDES, YA LAUGHIN', ANOTHER ANOTHER, ASCHENPUTTEL and DOGGED DAN all raced in restricted room going into the first bend when contending for positions. HOMEBUSH LIMBO shifted out racing around the bend making contact with the hind quarters of FLIRT ACADEMY which as a result lost its footing behind and lost ground. FLIRT ACADEMY settled in midfield after this incident and made up good ground in the home straight to finish fourth.
Race 4	Manawatu Raceway C1 - C1 - 457	Approaching the bend MATISSE was crowded for room between EUNUCHS LUCH which shifted ground outwards and THRILLING DEAL which shifted ground inwards at the point of the bend. MATISSE lost considerable ground and all chance. EUNUCHS LUCK shifted ground out abruplty rounding the bend when looking to race wider and as a result clipped a heel of ARMISTICE DAY and faultering in it's stride.
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C2 Ht1 - C2q - 375 Heat 1	BLACK HENNESSY shifted in abruptly at the start colliding with SYDENHAM OPAL which bacame briefly unbalanced. BLACK HENNESSY racing in restricted room going into the first bend between SYDENHAM OPAL and EXCITED ROYALE. I'M A CATCH angled in at the point of the bend crowding THRILLING TUNE which as a result went off-stride for a short distance and lost ground.
Race 6	Marton Dash C2 Ht2 - C2q - 375 Heat 2	SQUEEZER was presented 2.5 kilograms down in weight from his last start six and a half months ago on the 30th January 2013. Connections advised that the dog was having its first start for the kennel and that the decrease in weight was intentional. SHEZA TERROR shifted in from the jump making contact with SQUEEZER which became unbalanced. SHEZA TERROR was crowded for room on the point of the bend when runners from the outside angled inwards. OPAWA CHARLIE raced wide throughout however ran home strongly in the home straight to win well. SQUEEZER which finished a distance last, was referred to the Veterinarian for assessment and found to be suffering from a right hip injury.
Race 7	Ashurst Dash C2 Ht3 - C2q - 375 Heat 3	RAVEON was the slowest to begin and raced wide when entering the home straight. ANOTHER BURST became awkwardly placed on heels and shifted out rounding the turn making contact with the hindquarters of UNO ORANGE. Both runners became unbalanced in the incident and lost ground. Entering the home straight, AZURE DREAMS shifted out across the heels of ANOTHER BURST to obtain clear running.
Race 8	www.racingdogs.co.nz C3 - C3 - 457	Racing into the bend EL JETTA was crowded when racing to the inside of KANGO KLINK and made contact with the running rail. EL JETTA was referred to the Veterinarian for assessment where no injury was detected. EL JETTA after settling back made his run wide entering the home straight, finishing towards the rear of the field.
Race 9	Cloverlea Dash C4 - C4 - 375	RUN JUNIOR RUN was very slow to begin losing considerable ground and effectivley all chance in the race. After reviewing films, there was no evidence to show that this dog had turned in it's box and therefore no further action was taken.
Race 10	Shannon Dash C5 - C5 - 375	DARLYNE OTTEY jumping inwards from the start making contact ith DADDY LOWE. Shortly after, DARLYNE OTTEY was jostled between runners when THRILLING HAVOC angled in. CHEMICALLY FREE checked off heels rounding the bend and as a result forced WEE DIGER over extra ground. Both CHEMICALLY FREE and WEE DIGER continued to race wide for the remainder, finishing back.
Race 11	Feilding Sprint C3 - C3 - 375	OPAWA PRINCE was the slowest to begin. FASTBACK KING began akwardly.
Race 12	Foxton Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	BIGTIME JET jumped inwards at the start making heavy contact with INDIANA IZMIR and PINK SOCK. INDIANA IZMIR lost two lengths as a result and settled toward the rear. Entering the home straight, INDIANA IZMIR shifted out of the heels of LAUGH LIKE SANTA in order to improve. INDIANA IZMIR ran home well to finish fourth. OSTAPCHUCK raced wide throughout, covering extra ground.
