Judicial report: ZOE BRAND (B Dann) completed a box trial as required by Rule 72.13. Owner/Trainer Luke Philips defended a charge under Rules 88.1.f and 88.1.o in that on 12 July 2013 he misconducted himself when using foul and offensive language towards Wanganui GRC Club Secretary Mrs Venessa Trass. After hearing the evidence the JCA found the charge proven and fined Mr Philips the sum of $350.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295	CASSIE HAKA (3), TRUMPED UP (4) and UNO NOSEY (6) were the last trio at the jump. CASSIE HAKA received a slight check in the back straight and dropped out to a clear last where she remained. This bitch was referred to the vet for assessment. On the home turn FLEUR DU LIYS (7) was checked from behind by an improving TRUMPED UP with FLEUR DU LIYS losing ground.
Race 2	Fanta Claws At Stud Dash - C0 - 295	TEEVEE KIMBA (8) crossed quickly from the outside and made heavy contact with MULBERRY MACRO (3) with TEEVEE KIMBA losing momentum. PEP'S POT (1) was held up in the back straight when improving to the heels of TEEVEE KIMBA. VIENNA (6) ran wide on the bend pushing BUBLIN JED (7) over extra ground.
Race 3	Chris & Lisa Earl Stakes - C0 - 520	JIBBAJABBA JEWEL (8) was a clear last on jumping. OPAWA TANIA (2) was tightened into the first bend and lost ground as SCOTSOME POWER (3) crossed to the rail. This resulted in LACEY (9) checking outwards and forcing KNOW JUDGE (7) and JIBBAJABBA JEWEL over extra ground.
Race 4	Yaldhurst Tavern Sprint - C2 - 295	AVERSION (3) was last to jump and settled at the rear along with WANDY DESTINY (6). LACHIE'S LAD (4) lost ground in the back straight after receiving a check from BILLY MUGGINS (5). Closer in UPSALA JEWEL (1) attempted to get away from the rail and in doing so came together with LACHIE'S LAD. UPSALA JEWEL dropped out to a clear last with this bitch being referred to the vet for assessment. ANOTHER SNAZZA (8) angled inwards on the home turn brushing together with LACHIE'S LAD for a stride.
Race 5	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C1 - 295	ANOTHER GUNNA (3) was last to jump. NOISY LEO (1) ran outwards in the early stages checking ANOTHER GUNNA with this pair settling last. FANTA'S FEVER (4) was tightened into the bend and lost ground. On the home turn FANTA'S FEVER received a severe check when running outwards and contacting the hindquarters of CAWBOURNE TOMCAT (6).
Race 6	Oak n Ferry Bar & Restaurant Stakes - C0 - 520	TODDY'S A FLYER (2), KNOW SMIGGLE (4) and MIDNITE RAFA (5) were the last trio from the traps. BUSINESS CHIC (3) turned her head outwards towards ZULU BRO (7) into the first bend. KNOW SMIGGLE ran outwards into the first bend and checked OPAWA GOODIE (6) who lost ground. Into the back straight KNOW SMIGGLE and MIDNITE RAFA came together and lost ground. On the home turn BUSINESS CHIC turned her head outwards and marred the running of ZULU BRO (7) with BUSINESS CHIC falling at this stage. ZULU BRO lost momentum while KNOW SMIGGLE, MIDNITE RAFA and OPAWA GOODIE all had to take evasive action in behind. BUSINESS CHIC was referred to the vet for assessment where no injury was found. BUSINESS CHIC was stood down for 28 days for marring and must complete a satisfactory trial.
Race 7	Terra Keroma At Stud Dash - C2 - 295	DON'T CALL ME (6) was last to jump. MAKE YOUR POINT (8) crossed the face of the field in the early stages coming together with HOMEBUSH ESME (3) who lost ground.
Race 8	Robbie's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C1 - 520	OPAWA JEAN (8) was very slow to jump. EMBEE DEE (3) was dragged down and then buffeted between GYPSY HUNTER (7) and CANVAS RIDER (6) into the first bend and lost ground.
Race 9	Addington Events Centre Stakes - C1 - 520	OUT BACK BILL (2), WHITE LEGS (4) and OPAWA PEARL (8) were the last trio at the jump. Into the first bend WHITE LEGS was dragged down for a stride with this runner, BLUSHING BELLE (5) and OPAWA PEARL all coming together and jostling with these three dogs all losing ground. BLUSHING BELLE was observed to make good ground late in the race.
Race 10	C.T.V. Sprint - C3 - 295	FINGER POP (1) was last to jump. On the home turn BOLT RAMA (5) checked outwards off FIREMAN'S ROCKET (3) and lost momentum.
Race 11	Yella Mustard At Stud Stakes - C2 - 520	LINE HONOURS (4) was last to jump. At the end of the back straight BIZARRO (1) checked outwards off AXEL GRINDER (2) with LAUDABLE (6) being inconvenienced in behind.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C3 - 295	OPAWA WALLY (1) and KNOW WISDOM (8) were the last pair to jump. ALISARAY (6) ran outwards in the early stages checking KNOW WISDOM. On the home bend OPAWA WALLY ran outwards pushing OKUKU WEE MAN (3) outwards with KNOW WISDOM, ALISARAY and BLICKLING BRIDGE (5) all receiving checks and losing ground.
