Track: Dead The track was rain affected after recent wet weather in the district but although slushy on the surface, it was completely safe for racing and the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Judicial report: JUKE BOX BOY completed a satisfactory trial as required under the provisions of Rule 81.1.

Race 1	AWAPUNI STAKES C0 - C0 - 457	ROCKIN' ROD shifted in from the start and checked JUST LIKE PRINCE which blundered losing several lengths and he stayed back throughout the race. BLUE AND CURLY shifted in soon after the start and bumped ROCKIN' ROD in onto BACKYARD QUEEN and they were both hampered for a couple of strides. BLUE AND CURLY continued to shift in and jostled with GOLD STONE which was hampered and lost two lengths.
Race 2	WOODVILLE DASH C0 - C0 - 375	ONE EAR POISED annd TAILGATE STEVIE were slow to begin and settled back. COOL HEIR shifted out going into the bend and caused checks to NIGHT PEARL, ANOTHER STONE and TAILGATE STEVIE and they all lost ground and finished in the rear group.
Race 3	J P PRINT (PETONE) C1 - C1 - 375	One of the better supported runners WORKING WAIKATO was handy enough going into the bend but then drifted back through the field and finished several lengths last. WORKING WAIKATO was referred to the Vet for assessment. HOME BREWER blundered in its initial stride out of the boxes and settled back. He then raced wide over extra ground on the bend but finished well for 2nd place. The winner ADDICTED was selected for a post race swab but was released prior to the sample being taken due to a breach of security.
Race 4	MANAWATU RACEWAY C1 - C1 - 375	YOUR ON FIRE shifted in going to the first corner and hampered DOGGED DAN which lost three lengths. BLUE RUSH was tightened between YOUR ON FIRE and HOMEBUSH DIAMOND going into the bend and jostled for several strides.
Race 5	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTO FINISH C1 - C1 - 457	All clear.
Race 6	MARTON DASH C2 - C2 - 375	RAVEON was handy going into the bend but was checked and went back to the rear and she never recovered.
Race 7	ASHURST DASH C3 - C3 - 375	WINSOME ACHIEVER began awkwardly losing fiour lengths and he stayed back at the rear throughout the race. KAZILLION shifted in abruptly from the start and checked ALL THE RAGE and FLYING BLAKE and they both lost ground. FLYING BLAKE checked off the heels of CREME DA GENES going to the first corner and became very unbalanced and lost ground.
Race 8	FEILDING STAKES C3 - C3 - 457	NECTER shifted away from the rail going into the bend and this resulted in a check to CRUSHED MONKEY which went back to last and WHATS UP GEE, CAWBOURNE BREE and HELLO ELLO were also affected and lost ground. BUMPA STICKER checked over the heels of OSTAPCHUK and lost ground on the home turn.
Race 9	CLOVERLEA DASH C4 - C4 - 375	STARLA shifted in from the start and checked BOB'S YOUR UNCLE and soon after, RUN JUNIOR RUN and they both lost ground with BOB'S YOUR UNCLE the most affected . STARLA shifted in on the bend and made contact with WORKING WORKING and they both lost ground with WORKING WORKING the most affected.
Race 10	SHANNON SPRINT C5 - C5 - 375	MIRAGE was slow to begin and settled back. THRILLING HAVOC shifted in from the start and crossed the line of MIRAGE which had to check off heels simaltaneously as THRILLING HAVOC was checking off the heels of CRYSTAL WAVE. THRILLING HAVOC made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. LLAMEDOS faltered near the finish line and went to the lure some distance behind the other runners and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 11	WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	DONKEY DEEP shifted in abruptly from the start and checked CAWBOURNE TILLY and TRENDY KNOCKA'S which both lost ground with CAWBOURNE TILLY the most affected.
Race 12	FOXTON STAKES C1 F - C1f - 457	BOSTON CHANEL was slow to begin losing two lengths but made up ground well to finish in 4th place. KING LUMPY was checked going into the bend, shifted out and caused checks to THRILLING JUDGE and CAWBOURNE ANNA and they were forced wide into the bend.
