Judicial report: This report was compiled by L.Tidmarsh and assisted by G.Whiterod. The track was well presented for racing with all equipment functioning well throughout the day.

Incident Reports

Race Number	Race Name	Incident Report
Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	THUNDER TIME stumbled in its initial stride out of the boxes losing three lengths and he remained at the rear throughout the race. CIRCLE OF LIFE shifted in going into the first corner and hampered COYOTE CAUGHT YA which lost a length.
Race 2	Woodville Dash C1 - C1 - 375	NITRO LUIS and TIME FOR WHAT were slowest away from the boxes. Racing into the bend, favourite NITRO LUIS improved up onto the heels of HOMEBUSH COCO with both runners becoming briefly unbalanced and losing momentum. RIJEKA shifted out wider on the point of the bend causing a check to TIME FOR WHAT. RIJEKA and TIME FOR WHAT became unbalanced for a short distance and as a result lost considerable ground. NITRO LUIS raced in restricted room over the final stages.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C1 - C1 - 375	HOMEBUSH ALEX was jostled for a short distance after the start when racing between SNUFFALOPOGAS and REBEL JOE which was shifting ground inwards.
Race 4	Manawatu Raceway Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	GHOST CHIPS shifted out shortly after the start forcing BEADMAN, SUMMER TENSION and SECRET NADIA over extra ground. BEADMAN continued to shifted ground outwards forcing SUMMER TENSION wider on the track and covering extra ground. BEADMAN raced wide throughout and made the bend entering the home straight very wide, covering extra ground. GRADUATION shifted in on the point of the bend checking QUEEN COBRA which as a result lost ground (3 lengths).
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C1 - C1 - 375	OPAWA STU from its inside draw recieved general tightening going into the bend and as a result clipped the heel of ENDORSE and losing considerable ground (5 lengths). SNAP TO IT after showing good early speed, made the bend entering the home straight very wide covering considerable extra ground.
Race 6	Marton Dash C2 - C2 - 375	FLYING BLAKE, IT'S A DOLL and STUNT DOUBLE came together and bumped shortly after the start. Rounding the bend, IT'S A DOLL shifted out across heels making heavy contact with SMIDGED which lost its footing, losing ground as a result(4 lengths). The trailing STUNT DOUBLE also had to check and lost ground.
Race 7	Ashurst Sprint C2 - C2 - 375	MR.BIG STUFF, THRILLING TUNE and ANOTHER BURST were slow to begin. KAZILLION shifted in from the boxes making contact with BLACK HENNESSY. EUNUCHS LUCK raced wide throughout. THRILLING TUNE shifted out rounding the bend making contact with the hindquarters of ANOTHER BURST which became briefly unbalanced.
Race 8	Feilding Dash C3 - C3 - 375	LOCHINVAR YASI shifted in from the boxes crowding HOT KING COLE and MISS FOXY MINK which lost ground and settled back. LOCHINVAR YASI shifted out abruptly rounding the bend making heavy contact with KRUSSIAN which was forced wider on the track and becoming unbalanced. The trailing MISS FOXY MINK also had to steady and run wider to avoid KRUSSIAN. HOT KING COLE angled in rounding the bend causing a check to STOCK TAKER which lost ground(2 lengths). The trailing KRUSSIAN improved up onto the heels of STOCK TAKER and also lost ground. KRUSSIAN which recieved a checkered run was sent to the Veterinarian for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 9	Cloverlea Stakes C3/4 - C3/4 - 457	EL JETTA shifted in along the back straight making contact with JACK"S FIRST. JUST MAC, EL JETTA and CAWBOURNE TILLY were all crowded for room going into the bend with CAWBOURNE TILLY losing ground. The trailing JACK'S FIRST was checked when improved up onto the heels of CAWBOURNE TILLY and also lost ground(4 lengths). NECTER raced wide throughout, covering extra ground.
Race 10	Shannon Dash C4 - C4 - 375	RADIATOR SPRINGS was the slowest away from the boxes. EVER SO HOPEFUL angled in at the point of the bend checking STARLA which had to steady off heels for a short distance. STARLA then shifted out making contact with THRILLING CAIRO which also lost ground. BARRY'S WAY ran wide rounding the bend forcing RADIATOR SPRINGS over extra ground. THEODORE WEST which was having his first start back since 04 March 2013, tired over the final 50 metres however was sent to the Veterinarian where no abnormalities were found.
Race 11	Foxton Dash C4 - C4 - 375	SHANGHAI SAM from it's outside box draw raced wide throughout and ran home strongly to finish Fourth.
Race 12	www.racingdogs.co.nz C5 - C5 - 375	SLANGEVAR and COSMIC FURY were crowded for room shortly after the start between DADDY LOWE and TARAPUNGA both of which shifted ground. TARAPUNGA made the bend entering the home straight wide, covering extra ground.
Race 13	Bulls Stakes C1/2 - C1/2 - 457	MAMMY BROWN angled in shortly after the start making heavy contact with CRINITI'S, with both runners losing momentum. Rounding the bend, CRINITI'S angled out wider on the track with the trailing MAMMY BROWN having to check off the heels of that runner. MAMMY BROWN as a result lost valuable ground and momentum and never recovered from there on finishing in 7th position. Favourite MAMMY BROWN was sent to the Veterinarian for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
