| Race 2 | David Emerson Consultancy Dash - C0 - 295 | DRIP DRY OCEAN (7) was very slow to jump. CONNECT THE DOTS (3) was keen to run outwards in the early stages coming together with BUSINESS CHIC (4) for a stride. Into the bend EM ARE DEE (2) was dragged down for a stride and caused checks to BUSINESS CHIC, WUNZEE (6) and MOP HEAD (8) who all lost ground. |
| Race 3 | Bill's Bar & Bistro Sprint - C0 - 295 | WONGWAY GEORGIE (6) was last to jump. The pacemaking TEEVEE KIMBA (5) was checked and dragged down into the bend losing momentum. Some minor abrasions were apparent after the race but no stand down was imposed. |
| Race 4 | Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C0 - 520 | MAGDALENE (3) and BURN PATTY (7) were both slow to jump. COURT THE BELLE (8) was checked from behind by MORGAN BAXTER (4) into the first bend and lost momentum. On the first bend the pacemaking WHAT I LIKE (1) angled outwards pushing OPAWA PEARL (6) and OPAWA ROMEO (5) wider on the track. BURN PATTY was tightened at the end of the back straight and lost ground with MAGDALENE being inconvenienced in behind. |
| Race 5 | Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C0 - 295 | TRUMPED UP (1), HOMEBUSH VERONA (5) and BUBLIN JED (7) were the last trio on jumping. GIRL PRIDE (4) ran inwards on dispatch tightening JASPER HAKA (3) and OUT BACK BILL (2) for a stride. On the home turn the pacemaking GORILLA ON DRUMS (6) lost some momentum as OUT BACK BILL improved to his inside and made brief contact. |
| Race 6 | Addington Events Centre Stakes - C1 - 520 | OPAWA JAY (2) was last to jump. THREE KNOTS (3) ran inwards at the jump colliding with OPAWA CASSIDY (1) and losing ground. HANNAH (4) led into the first bend but was dragged down and ran outwards drifting to the rear. |
| Race 7 | Garrard's Horse And Hound Dash - C0 - 295 | JOEY'S SECRET (5) was very slow to jump with NERO HAKA (8) also settling well back. AIR FLOW (4) angled inwards in the early stages checking BILLY WEST (3) and BLACK BARRACUDA (2) who lost ground. On the home turn SPRINGSTOWN (1) was tightened and checked as HURRICANE SANDY (6) crossed to the rail in front of her. |
| Race 8 | Angler's Arms Tavern Sprint - C2 - 295 | DAMARJO (7) kept JED NORTON (8) wide on the track in the run down the back straight. JED NORTON then angled inwards into the bend tightening HOMEBUSH ESME (6) who lost ground. COOL JORDIE (3) was first out but weakened out to finish last. Trainer Stephen Whall advised Stewards that COOL JORDIE would now be retired to a comfortable couch. |
| Race 9 | racingdogs.co.nz Stakes - C2 - 520 | COVER TO COVER (5) was badly checked at the start as BOTANY SEATON (6) jumped inwards with COVER TO COVER settling a clear last. OPULENT (4) and WANDY ON IN (7) came together on two occasions in the run to the first bend. |
| Race 10 | Flatpack Houses Ph. 03 3715005 Dash - C2 - 295 | KNOW LIES (1), SMASH AMEGO (2) and MR. BLOBBY (4) were the last trio to jump. Into the bend in a tightly compacted unit VITALIZE (5) checked off the back of UPSALA JEWEL (3) and lost ground. BELFAST SUZY (6) was tightened at this stage and was checked from behind by CAWBOURNE REEAH (8) with this pair losing ground. Following this race MR. BLOBBY was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 11 | Hampden Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295 | COSMIC GALAXY (1) and OPAWA SISTER (6) were the last pair to jump. JUMPIN SALLY (2) was tightened into the bend and lost ground with CANVAS RIDER (4) and OPAWA SISTER being inconvenienced as a result. The pacemaking PHAT PANTS (5) ran outwards on the home turn losing some ground. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Dash - C2 - 295 | CRINITI'S (3) ran inwards in the back straight tightening DON'T CALL ME (2) and CAWBOURNE BURN (1) along the rail with this pair losing ground. Into the bend CAWBOURNE BURN checked outwards off ANOTHER STREET (4) and pushed DON'T CALL ME and DYNA DIEGO (7) wider on the track with this trio losing their chances. |
