| Race 1 | CENTRAL WATER CARRIERS - C1 - 390 | BEADMAN ran wide approaching the bend, briefly impeding BUSINESS BOSS. The trailing DRIVE FIVE was briefly hampered as well. BEADMAN then ran wide rounding the bend. |
| Race 2 | www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C1 - 390 | OPAWA SISTER and SHEEZA FLOWER made contact shortly after the start. CAMRAY shifted inwards approaching the bend and had to check when making contact with COSMIC GALAXY which was also checked losing its momentum. OPAWA SISTER was checked when rounding the bend when crossed over by CAMRAY. |
| Race 3 | SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C1/2 - 390 | The start of this race was put back 1 minute at the request of the TAB. CAWBOURNE CLOCK was tightened for room shortly after the start after BLACK TRIGGER shifted outwards and PARKERMON shifted inwards. BLACK TRIGGER shifted ground outwards in the home straight with PARKERMON being turned sideways. |
| Race 4 | ADDED ENERGY STAKES - C0 - 457 | From the jump OCHE ran sharply outwards and checked AIR FLOW and MASTER AT ARMS. In the run to the turn MASTER AT ARMS was squeezed between OCHE and ROSE BOW and lost ground. Into the turn JOYVILLE checked off the rear of OPAWA ROMEO and forced WUNZEE onto the heels of WHAT I LIKE with both dogs severely checked. Also on the bend AIR FLOW ran outwards and made heavy contact with MASTER AT ARMS who ran wide on the turn. On the turn OCHE and AIR FLOW made contact on several occasions and lost ground. |
| Race 5 | WILLY'S FLOORING LTD - C1/2 - 457 | MISS ISABELLA turned in the boxes and missed the start losing all chance. PUKEKO THUNDER ran wide when vying for the lead rounding the bend. MISS ISABELLA was required to complete a box trial pursuant to Rule 72.13 prior to resuming racing. |
| Race 6 | SGRC $50 LEATHER LEADS - C3 - 390 | LACHIE'S LAD jumped inwards sharply making contact with ANOTHER BECKY. Shortly after the start TWO WAYS shifted inwards contacting DYNA FRIER. COSMIC BOLERO was crowded for room when being crossed over by TWO WAYS racing into the bend. ISABELLE DOMAIN dictated DYNA FRIER wider on the track rounding the bend. DYNA FRIER was referred to the veterinarian following this race with no abnormalities detected. |
| Race 7 | COLORMARK SYSTEMS LTD - C4 - 390 | From the jump LITTLE MIDNIGHT ran inwards and checked HOMEBUSH EDITH. Into the turn RINGA DING shifted outwards and checked the running of HOMEBUSH CRUDEN. |
| Race 8 | SOUTHLAND SHARKS NBL CHAMPIONS - C3 - 457 | OPAQUE stumbled at the start losing several lengths. MYRA BEE and ROCKY BAXTER both made contact on several occasions approaching the bend. ENABLE raced wide rounding the bend and continued wide in the home straight. |
