Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C3 - C3 - 305	ARMOUR shifted in going to the first corner and crowded several runners drawn further in and SCOTT NO MONEY was the most affected and she eventually checked back to last and never recovered. SWAPAN shifted in going into the bend and checked ARMOUR which lost momentum for a few strides.
Race 2	Morrie Gibbons Signs C2 Feature - C2 - 520	THAT'S KING shifted in soon after the start and caused checks to THRILLING TERROR and SMILE FOR DADDY and they both lost ground and settled back. FLYING BLAKE shifted out from the rail going into the first bend and bumped SMILE FOR DADDY which was pushed wide into the bend losing ground and went back to the rear. SMILE FOR DADDY raced wide on the final bend and lost further ground and finished in 6th place.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone ) C3 - C3 - 305	Two of the better supported runners, SURF QUAKE and STUNT DOUBLE began a little awkwardly and settled at the rear. STUNT DOUBLE then raced wide into the bend covering extra ground and finished in last place while SURF QUAKE secured an inside run and made up some ground to finish in 6th place.
Race 4	Palamountains Nutrition C3 Feature - C3 - 520	The favourite OSTAPCHUK was hampered soon after the start when racing between TENKAY DOWN and UNO HEIDI and he settled at the rear. OSTAPCHUK then checked over the heels of UNO HEIDI going into the bend, shifted out and checked over the heels of THANKS CHARLIE and ran wide on the bend losing ground and never recovered . UNO HEIDI moved through inside FERGIE'S BELLE and bumped that runner on the home turn and FERGIE'S BELLE lost two lengths.
Race 5	Broad Roofing C4 - C4 - 305	BEE RABBIT and TIZ NOW bumped together losing a little momentum on the bend and KEZZ and TIZ NOW also bumped together in the home straight and KEZZ suffered the most and lost three lengths.
Race 6	Wanganui Classic R/A Feature - R/A - 520	LINCOLN FLYER and MI TI PA were slow to begin and settled back at the rear. They then bumped together going to the first corner and MI TI PA lost three lengths and they both stayed well back for the remainder of the race.
Race 7	Wanganui Security C4 - C4 - 305	JILL SPRITE shifted in going to the first corner and caused jostling to GEORGE BAXTER, TIME'S UP and SPACE RACE with all four dogs losing ground in the incident. GEORGE BAXTER recovered the best of the affected runners and he finished in 2nd place.
Race 8	Keenan Concrete C4 Feature - C4 - 520	KYLIE'S BELLE was crowded a little early in the race and got back. She then shifted in making firm contact with the rail with a circuit to run and lost ground and she was referred to the Vet for assessment. FINN MCMISSILE shifted in going innto the first bend causing checks to TALK IT OVER, FIRE BOY BAXTER and LAUGH LIKE SANTA and they lost four or five lengths and all chance of a first four placing.
Race 9	NZRS Sprint Final - NZRSf - 305	CALL ME RALPH drew box 1 and shifted out going to the first corner and hampered IONA HAKA for some distance until he eventually got to the outside on the first corner but in the process had checked IONA HAKA which lost all chance. QUICK CAT shifted in going to the first corner and dictated LLAMEDOS in onto AVERT which was checked losing four lengths and all chance of a first four placing.
Race 10	Punter Of The Year Cup Final C5 - C5f - 520	FANCY JILL and THRILLING BLITZ bumped soon after the start and THRILLING BLITZ dropped back to the rear. RILEY'S MATE shifted in going to the first corner and checked FANCY JILL which went back and out onto SPEED LEGEND who in turn bumped with FANCY TIP and HYPOTENTIAL was also affected and they were forced very wide into the bend losing several lengths.
Race 11	Mickey's Super Liquor C5 - C5 - 305	DARLYNE OTTEY shifted in from the start and caused tightening to runners on her inside and VICKI'S QUEST , BELKARA, ANOTHER HIT and EXPLOSIVE OSTI were all checked losing ground. EXPLOSIVE OSTI recovered the best of those affected and he finished in 3rd place.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305	COSMIC PEARL shifted in from the start forcing VERSATILITY onto WILD PUNTING. WILD PUNTING clipped the heels of OSCAR TUIVASA and blundered losing several lengths and he never recovered and finished in last place.
