Judicial report: Trainer G.Cleeve denied a charge under Rule 88.1.q. (GRNZ Mobile Phone Regulations) in that he had not switched his mobile phone off before Race 5 at Christchurch GRC on 12 July 2013. After hearing evidence from Stewards and Mr Cleeve the JCA found the charge proved and Mr Cleeve was fined the sum of $50.00

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C2 - 295	OHOKA BLUE (1) shifted out shortly after leaving the boxes making contact with VISUAL ILLUSION (2). These runners jostled for some distance with both runners losing ground. KNOW SKILL (5) who was trailing these runners had to shift in to obtain clear running.
Race 2	Little Brown Jug Sprint - C0 - 295	The dogs were unloaded and there was a slight delay to this event due to ducks having to be removed from the track. GO PATCH (3) and JASPER HAKA (4) were slow away. Entering the first bend HOMEBUSH VERONA (1) got on heels of AIR FLOW (6) before shifting out abruptly causing JUNO BAXTER (5) to fall. Entering the home straight CONNECT THE DOTS (7) and BUBLIN JED (8) came together. JUNO BAXTER was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormalities.
Race 3	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C0 - 295	Approaching the first bend FANTA'S FEVER (7) commenced to shift in tightening KERAMUS GIRL (6) and MULBERRY MARCO (3). FANTA'S FEVER continued to shift in with KERAMUS GIRL and MULBERRY MARCO being checked losing ground. FANTA'S FEVER and VALLDEMOSSA (1) then came together with both these runners momentarily unbalanced and VALLDEMOSSA losing ground. Soon after MULBERRY MARCO shifted out onto the heels of NERO HAKA (4) with both these runners losing ground.
Race 4	Coalgate Tavern Stakes - C0 - 520	BURN PATTY (5) began awkwardly. CASINO BLACK (8) was slightly slow to begin. BURN PATTY shifted in shortly after the start making contact with CHOOSE TO LOVE (3). Racing toward the first bend COURT THE BELLE (4) tightened OPAWA GOODIE (9) with OPAWA GOODIE then drifting back through the field. Co-Trainer Robin Wales was warned that an improved performance would be expected of OPAWA GOODIE in future starts. OPAWA LAUREN (6) raced wide throughout this event.
Race 5	Yella Mustard At Stud Dash - C0 - 295	VIENNA (4) was slow to leave the boxes. Shortly after the start JUMPIN SALLY (7) shifted in tightening JOYVILLE (6) and CAWBOURNE POLLY (3) with JOYVILLE been checked. JUMPIN SALLY continued to shift in with CAWBOURNE POLLY and EM ARE DEE (2) racing in restricted room. Shortly after EM ARE DEE shifted out in search of clear racing room resulting in JOYVILLE getting on heels of JUMPIN SALLY losing ground.
Race 6	The Miller Bar & Cafe Stakes - C1 - 520	OHOKA TAYLOR (1) and ZARISHEL (2) came together briefly shortly after the start. Rounding the final bend AXEL GRINDER (8) had to check off the heels of MASSAGE ONLY (5). AXEL GRINDER then came together with BOTANY COMET (6).
Race 7	racingdogs.co.nz Sprint - C0 - 295	WUNZEE (8) was slow away then got on the heels of MORGAN BAXTER (4) shortly after with both these runners momentarily unbalanced. Shortly after the start TEEVEE KIMBA (5) shifted in on SUM ARE FUN (2). HOMEBUSH CORAL (1) and OUT BACK BILL (3) jostled for several strides entering the first bend getting on the heels of SUM ARE FUN which was unbalanced making contact with GORILLA ON DRUMS (7). SUM ARE FUN was tightened rounding the final bend between WUNZEE and MORGAN BAXTER losing ground.
Race 8	Clarkson Sign Studio Stakes - C1 - 520	WHITE LEGS (6) and WANDY CHLOE (2) were slow to begin. PALUCKA (3), KNOW SOLUTION (4) and BLUSHING BELLE (5) all came together racing towards the first bend with KNOW SOLUTION losing ground. ZED KAY MAN (1) then shifted out into the line of PALUCKA becoming unbalanced when contacting hindquarters. Racing around the first bend WHITE LEGS checked off the heels of BLUSHING BELLE resulting in a check to PADDY BAXTER (8) with this runner being dictated wider on the track.
Race 9	Garrard's Horse & Hound Stakes - C2 - 520	Shortly after the start OPULENT (4), OUR HOPE (3) and BOTANY SEATON (2) were tightened when GIRL RACER (6) shifted in and BOTANY PETE (1) shifted out with BOTANY SEATON losing ground. Rounding the first bend OUR HOPE was checked between LINE HONOURS (7) and BOTANY PETE losing ground. LINE HONOURS shifted in entering the final straight making contact with OUR HOPE. OPULENT and COALPIT MICK (8) came together in the final straight.
Race 10	Coaster's Tavern Sprint Final - C2f - 295	NEW ORDER (5) was checked at the start losing ground when KNOW WISDOM (6) shifted in and OKUKU WEE MAN (3) shifted out. CELESTRIAL MAGIC (1) and KNOW WISDOM made brief contact entering the first bend. KNOW WISDOM angled in entering the final straight making contact with CELESTRIAL MAGIC.
Race 11	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Dash - C2 - 295	HANNAH (7) angled inwards in the early stages coming together with KNOW LIES (6) and losing ground. HOMEBUSH ESME (1) ran outwards in the back straight checking OKUKU LILLY (2). Into the bend KNOW LIES ran inwards causing a check to HOMEBUSH ESME who gave ground along the inside.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C2 - 295	WANDY DESTINY (3) was a late scratching at 3.13pm when this bitch was found to be lame and running a high temperature. HOME TRUTH (8) was slow to leave the boxes. Shortly after the start MAKE YOUR POINT (6) shifted in on CAWBOURNE REEAH (5) and DYNA DIEGO (9). CAWBOURNE REEAH shifted in entering the first bend making brief contact with DYNA DIEGO. OKUKU BOBO (1) made brief contact with DYNA DIEGO rounding the bend.
