Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: After the running of Race 6 it had appeared that the boxes had been a fraction slow to open. On inspection of the boxes it was found that a stone had been lodged on the mat just in front of the inside boxes and because of this they had not properly closed and locked in. The stone was removed and the boxes successfully tested before the next race. Starter Paul Scott was reminded of his obligations to ensure that the mat and boxes are clear of any foreign material before each race.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C1 - 295	MAKE YOUR POINT (3) shifted inwards abruptly at the start and made firm contact with VITALIZE (2) which was unbalanced as a result, also affected was HOMEBUSH LIMBO(1). Rounding the first bend MAKE YOUR POINT (3) and BEE OSTEE (6) came together with BEE OSTEE (3) losing momentum. In the straight HOMEBUSH LIMBO (1) shifted off the heels of COALPIT MICK (8) and ran wide over the concluding stages .
Race 2	Robbie's Bar & Bistro Sprint - C0 - 295	GO PATCH (1) was slow to begin . MORGAN BAXTER (4) was slow through the initial stages. Rounding the bend DUCO TO DUCO (3) checked off the heels of MOP HEAD (7) and went back on and extinguished the chances of both MORGAN BAXTER (4) and CONNECT THE DOTS (5).
Race 3	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA LEANNE (5) ,OPAWA PAUL (7) and CASINO BLACK (8) were all slow to begin. Shortly after the start OPAWA ANNE (4) shifted down towards the rail and made contact with OPAWA CARLOS (3) and GAME GIRL (2) which resulted in all runners being unbalanced for a short distance. OPAWA LEANNE (5) ran wide on the first turn and forced OPAWA PAUL (7) and CASINO BLACK (8) over extra ground. OPAWA LEANNE (5) raced very wide on the track in both straights.
Race 4	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C0 - 295	BLUE GALE RISE (1) was very slow to begin . KERAMUS GIRL (7) was slow through the initial stages . FLIRT WITH ME (4) jostled with GO NOLA (9) shortly after the start. In the run to the first bend GO NOLA (9) shifted outwards from the rail and hampered FLIRT WITH ME (4) which was checked back onto UNO NOSEY (5) which lost all chance . Near the finishing line VALLDEMOSSA (2) was checked when GO NOLA (9) shifted down to the running rail .
Race 5	C.T.V. Sprint - C1 - 295	EASY SILENCE (6) was hampered between runners rounding the first bend . Rounding the final turn WELLYWOOD (2) ran very wide and shifted MUSTANG MAGZ (7) over extra ground. Stewards reviewed the videos to ascertain whether WELLYWOOD was in breach of Rule 80. After viewing all replays available it could not be shown that WELLYWOOD had marred any other runner or eased free of interference as is required to prove the Rule and no further action was deemed necessary.
Race 6	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C1 - 520	BOTANY KEVIN (7) and MASSAGE ONLY (8) were both slow to begin .DYNA BROWNLOW (3) and KNOW FUTURE(4) jostled for some distance rounding the first bend when well back .
Race 7	Carol's T.A.B. Dash - C1 - 295	ZED KAY MAN (1) was slow to begin. HARPER MEHL (5) shifted inwards at the start and hampered RUBY'S GIRL (4) , IVA CUNNING PLAN (3) and NOISY LEO(2). RUBY'S GIRL (2) and NOISY LEO (4) continued to jostle for some distance when well back in the field. Rounding the bend HOMEBUSH CRUZ (7) checked off the heels of WHITE LEGS (8) which shifted inwards towards the rail. HOMEBUSH CRUZ was referred to the vet for assessment .
Race 8	Garrard's Horse And Hound Sprint - C1 - 295	HOORAY FOR HAZEL (4) was hampered when jostled between runners in the run to the first bend.
Race 9	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C1 - 520	OPAWA JAY (8) was very slow to begin and lost all chance. Rounding the first bend OPAWA JAY (8) and LAW TO EXCEL(5) bumped heavily when rounding the first bend.
Race 10	Yella Mustard At Stud Stakes - C1 - 520	LINE HONOURS (8) was slow to begin. In the run to the first turn ROB'S MATE (4) which was shifting down to the rail was hampered and dragged from behind by THREE KNOTS (2)and lost ground as a result. ROB'S MATE (4) was referred to the vet for assessment which revealed no abnormalities. QUE TEE PIX(5) ran wide on the first bend and forced OPAWA ANDREA (7) over extra ground . The trailing OPAWA CASSIDY (9) and JET EVEN (6) were hampered in consequence .
Race 11	racingdogs.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295	MILDRED LILLIAN (7) was slow to begin . CEC DEVINE (6) was hampered early when MIGHTY MONICA (8) shifted inwards on jumping. LA FONTAINE (5) lost momentum in the run to the first bend when hampered by MIGHTY MONICA (8) which had continued to run inwards towards the rail. Rounding the bend MIGHTY MONICA (8) lost ground when making firm contact with CEC DEVINE (6) .
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C1 - 295	CANVAS RIDER (2) and CLAREMONT DIVA (3) made contact shortly after the start. CANVAS RIDER (2) ,GENIA HAKA (4) and MULBERRY BROOK (5) all came together and were unbalanced momentarily racing into the first bend . CLAREMONT DIVA (3) and GRACY RACER (6) jostled when leading into the bend resulting in both runners losing momentum. GRACY RACER (6) was buffeted and unbalanced when racing between runners rounding the home turn .
