| Race 1 | Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375 | CRAZY MOJO was slow to begin. Racing into the bend, FANTA'S FEVER shifted out making contact with COOL HEIR which became unbalanced briefly. COOL HEIR raced wide from there on. |
| Race 2 | Woodville Stakes C0 - C0 - 457 | OPIE BOSSMAN was a late scratching under Rule 64 as the dog has kennel cough. JUST LIKE PRINCE shifted in from the boxes making contact with MISS SARA. THRILLING REBEL, TEPIRITA TUITEKA, PEP'S POT and FANTASTIC ANNA were all slow to begin. JUST LIKE PRINCE raced wide throughout covering extra ground. |
| Race 3 | Ray Huntley Memorial Final C0 - C0f - 375 | SOPHIE'S TERRA began awkwardly and lost ground. Shortly after jumping away, THRILLING GIGGLE shifted in and bumped THRILLING JUDGE which became unbalanced briefly. Racing into the bend, ELLIE WAVES and ANOTHER STONE were crowded for room when GEORGE angled in. As a result ANOTHER STONE lost it's footing in front and lost several lengths. Around the bend, THRILLING JUDGE angled wider crowding THRILLING GIGGLE out onto ANOTHER STONE which lost ground and settled at the rear. Over the final stages, THRILLING JUDGE was held up when in restricted room. |
| Race 4 | Manawatu Raceway C1 - C1 - 375 | BELLDEEN was the slowest away from the boxes. BELLDEEN then raced wide rounding the bend and ran home well in the home straight. Over the early stages, MAINLAND SONIC when angling toward the rail, jostled with PREFONTAINE for a short distance. |
| Race 5 | Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C1 - C1 - 375 | HOT KING COLE shifted out shortly after the start making contact with THRILLING CLOUD which became unbalanced and lost ground. Approaching the bend, THRILLING CLOUD had to steady off the heels of KOTUMBA when that runner shifted in. Shortly after THRILLING CLOUD was forced wider on the track after AMY WINEGLASS shifted ground out in search of clear running. |
| Race 6 | Marton Dash C2 - C2 - 375 | GONE AWOL raced wide throughout. Into the bend, OKUKU WEE MAN shifted out checking IT'S A DOLL. IT'S A DOLL then shifted out across heels making heavy contact with FASTBACK KING resulting in both runners losing ground. |
| Race 7 | Ashurst Sprint C2 - C2 - 375 | There was a delay of two minutes to this race at the request of TAB control. SWAPAN shifted in abruptly at the start when in search of the lure, crowding YOUR ON FIRE and THRILLING HALO who both lost ground. Into the bend, TEKAU angled in making heavy contact with THRILLING HALO which became unbalanced, resulting in both runners losing a couple of lengths. Over the final 50 metres, LOCHINVAR YASI came together and bumped FLYING BLAKE which became unbalanced and losing half a length. |
| Race 8 | Feilding Stakes C1 - C1 - 457 | Entering the home straight, CAWBOURNE ANNA angled out forcing TIME FOR WHAT wider on the track. |
| Race 9 | Cloverlea Dash C3 - C3 - 375 | Approaching the bend, TARAPUNGA shifted out making contact with STIRLING DAN which faultered in its stride and losing in excess of four lengths. Into the bend TARAPUNGA shifted out across heels in search of clear racing room. TARAPUNGA then raced wide rounding the bend making up plenty of ground in the home straight to finish 4th. |
| Race 10 | Shannon Dash C4 - C4 - 375 | KEZZ began awkwardly and lost ground. JUKE BOX BOY after racing handy in the early stages received a bump from TAWNY PORT rounding the first bend then eased and went back several lengths to last. As a result the trailing SEE TO BELIEVE and RADIATOR SPRINGS were checked and both lost several lengths. JUKE BOX BOY was referred to the Veterinarian where a 21 day stand down was recommended due to some injuries sustained and the dog is to complete a satisfactory trial under rule 81.1 prior to racing next. |
| Race 11 | Foxton Sprint C5 - C5 - 375 | Racing around the bend, SIR RICHIE shifted in across the heels of DADDY LOWE resulting in the trailing CALAMITY FREE being servely checked, losing several lengths. Also affected were HOWLIN WIND, LITTLE BLACKSPOT and DECADO who were heavily bumped. |
| Race 12 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C2 - C2 - 457 | WAY TOO CRUDE was a late scratching under Rule 64 as the dog has kennel cough. TEAM DREAM after leading throught the early and middle stages ran wide rounding the bend and weakened out over the final 50 metres to finish third. |
| Race 13 | Shannon Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | Shortly after leaving the start, BIGTIME LATTE angled in toward the rail crowding LAUGH LIKE SANTA and SPEED LEGEND who both became unbalanced and with LAUGH LIKE SANTA losing ground. NECTER raced wide rounding the bend. Racing into the bend, NONU NONU BOOM had to momentarily check when awkwardly placed on the heels of EL JETTA. NONU NONU BOOM lost a length as a result. |
