Judicial report: G.Quirk was fined $ 50-00 under the Minor Infringement Table for a breach of Rule 71.4 when he failed to catch a dog as arranged following race 10.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	UNO GREEN escaped from the Handler at the stirrup and went a short distance before being captured, examined by the Vet and cleared to race. HOMEBUSH COLT and SYDENHAM OPAL came together and bumped at the start and RIBA LORDA outside those two was also hampered with all three losing ground. CHELSEA'S BEAUTY shifted in going into the bend foring SYDENHAM OPAL onto the line of HOMEBUSH COLT which was checked losing two lengths.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	Soon after the start, FLIRT ACADEMY was observed to go off stride for a short distance and to shake his head quite violently but the Stewards were unable to establish what had caused the dog to react in that way. FLIRT ACADEMY was referred to the Vet for assessment as a precaution and cleared of any injury. Going into the first corner, FLIRT ACADEMY and JIMMY JURANTE came together and bumped and they lost ground and stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	ENFLAME which finished in 6th place, was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Handlers request. The race was all clear.
Race 4	Guthrie Bowron C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	SMILE FOR DADDY shifted out going into the first bend and checked over the heels of THAT'S KING and ran wide on the bend forcing MONKEY QUEEN and RAVEON to also run wide and they lost several lengths. SMILE FOR DADDY recovered the best of the three and she finished in 3rd place.
Race 5	Palamountains Nutrition C3 - C3 - 305	EXCESSIVE SPEED , GOGO RIOLI, HOMEBUSH HELL'S and BUT ITS GREAT jostled together for a few strides soon after the start and lost a little ground. GOGO RIOLI became awkwardly placed in restricted room inside BUT ITS GREAT going to the bend and she lost ground but did run on in the straight for 4th place.
Race 6	Wanganui Security C3 - C3 - 305	MISS FOLEY was slow to begin losing three lengths and she then raced very and stayed back to finish last. One of the favourites STUNT DOUBLE also raced wide from box 7 and she checked going into the bend when momentarily on the heels of UNO FLASH and she finished in 2nd last place
Race 7	Renown Bakery Wanganui C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	VICKI'S QUEST and ANOTHER HIT were slow to begin and settled back. ROSEMORE OSTI shifted in soon after the start and crowded RUN LACEY RUN and CALL ME RALPH for several stides. BEE RABBIT and FLYING FLYNN jostled for several strides going to the first corner and then VICKI'S QUEST moved up between them and they bumped together and all three lost ground.
Race 8	Mickey's Super Liquor C3 Final - C3f - 520	KYLIE'S BELLE was checked back to the rear when tightened going into the first corner and a few strides further on , TALK IT OVER, TIME FRAUD and CAWBOURNE BREE were also checked and lost ground. KYLIE'S BELLE shifted in on the first bend making firm contact with the rail and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Broad Roofing C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	SIR RICHIE and ENAZUMA were slow to begin losing two lengths. IONA HAKA shifted in going into the bend and checked AVERT which went back several places and ERUZA was also affected and they never recovered and stayed well back.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete Wanganui C3/4 - C3/4 - 520	SPACE RACE checked off the back of COOL IZMIR entering the back straight and lost several lengths. SPACE RACE was again checked entering the final bend and she went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 11	Gary Ross Decorator C4 - C4 - 305	All clear.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C4 - C4 - 305	JACK'S FIRST began a little awkwardly and he settled at the rear and stayed there throughout the race. WHERE'S CHICKEN checked off the heels of KEZZ going into the bend and lost ground. HOMEBUSH DOMINO shifted out on the home turn and checked ANOTHER GON which lost four lengths and all chance of finishing in a dividend placeing.
