Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C2 - C2 - 305	The favourite STUNT DOUBLE was away well from the boxes and was handy going to the first corner but then drifted back and finished in 2nd last place. She may have been clipped from behind by JIMMY JURANTE on the first corner but this was not conclusive and STUNT DOUBLE was referred to the Vet for assessment as a precaution.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	MISSING MELODY which had not raced for 7 weeks, was down in weight by 1.8 kilograms and this was intentional. FERGIE'S BELLE shifted out slightly going to the first corner and forced SMILE FOR DADDY into the line of WHAT'S UP GEE and they both lost three lengths.
Race 3	J P Print ( Petone ) C3 - C3 - 305	GONE AWOL shifted in from the start forcing HOMEBUSH RICK in across the heels of JUST A BOY and HOMEBUSH RICK had to check , lost ground and settled at the rear. MR BIG STUFF, BUT IT'S GREAT and JILL SPRITE jostled to gether for several strides going to the first corner and MR BIG STUFF and BUT IT'S GREAT both lost two lengths in the incident.
Race 4	Guthrie Bowron C3 - C3 - 305	SCOTT NO MONEY shifted in going into the bend and forced WORKING WORKING onto the line of KINETIC NEO which went back and out checking STILL HELENA and CAWBOURNE FLICK and all three dogs lost three lengths.
Race 5	GAP'S 1000th Adoption C3 - C3 - 520	THRILLING TERROR shifted out from the start and CAWBOURNE TILLY shifted in abruptly which resulted in checks to LINCOLN FLYER, FIRE BOY BAXTER and TIME FRAUD which all lost ground and settled back. LINCOLN FLYER , which was well supported, then raced wide covering extra ground for the remainder of the race and he finished in last place. FIRE BOY BAXTER was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury apart from a minor spike wound to the left hind .
Race 6	Wanganui Security C3 - C3 - 305	HOMEBUSH HALEY and EMMA MARIE both shifted ground soon after the start which resulted in CAWBOURNE STEFFI racing between being jostled and losing ground. HOMEBUSH HAYLEY shifted in going into the bend and checked BOUND BY PRIDE which lost ground and went back to the rear.
Race 7	Mickey's Super Liquor C4 - C4 - 520	THRILLING CAIRO shifted in going to the first corner and checked RED CRYSTAL and BARRY'S WAY which both lost ground and went back to the rear and never recovered the lost ground. LAUGH LIKE SANTA was handy enough going to the last bend but checked off the back of FALSE IMPRESSION losing several lengths and he finished in last place.
Race 8	Palamountains Nutrition C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	COSMIC FURY and CHAINSAW PETE were slow to begin losing two lengths. MOON WARROWER shifted in going into the bend and checked COSMIC FURY, UNO ALLEGRO and HOMEBUSH BUFFY which all lost ground. MOON WARROWER made contact wiith the rail and also lost ground in the incident and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 9	Renown Bakery C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	SEE TO BELIEVE shifted in and crowded KINETIC RIO in onto AUSSIE HAKA for several strides going to the first corner and they were eventually checked , went back to the rear and never recovered.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	SPEED LEGEND was very slow to begin losing five lengths. EL JETTA shifted in going into the first bend and crowded OSTAPCHUK who checked over heels and shifted out hampering SPEED LEGEND which was forced wide into the bend losing further ground. SPEED LEGEND kept up a strong run but could not catch the tearaway leader and eventual winner ATE TO MUCH.
Race 11	Broad Roofing C5 - C5 - 305	HOMEBUSH LIGNITE, BEE RABBIT and BOB'S YOUR UNCLE were slow to begin losing three lengths. STIFF shifted in soon after the start and caused jostling to ROSEMORE OSTI, ATE PIZZA and LEADFOOT LENNY and they lost momentum. ATE PIZZA shifted in going into the first corner checking itself and also LEADFOOT LENNY and HOMEBUSH LIGNITE and they lost ground and stayed back to finish in the last three places. ATE PIZZA was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305	HYPOTENTIAL, SLANGEVAR and ENFLAME were slow to begin losing two lengths. HYPOTENTIAL checked off the back of IONA HAKA going into the bend and shifted out making contact with ENFLAME and they both lost ground and stayed back to finish at the rear.
