| Race 2 | Happy Birthday Shirley McMillan Dash - C0 - 295 | ELLIE WAVES (4) and STARBURST PAUL (6) were the slowest from the traps. STARBURST PAUL then ran sharply inwards checking ELLIE WAVES. BEADMAN (5) shifted up the track in the back straight keeping FLIRT WITH ME (8) wide on the track. THIAGO (7) ran outwards on the bend pushing ELLIE WAVES over extra ground. |
| Race 3 | Little Brown Jug Sprint - C0 - 295 | VIENNA (2) was last to jump. CAWBOURNE POLLY (6) ducked outwards at the jump checking SAVE ANNE BOLEYN (9) who dropped to the rear. |
| Race 4 | Carol's T.A.B. Dash - C2 - 295 | OKOTOKS (1) angled outwards in the back straight checking off the back of DON'T CALL ME (3) for a stride. DON'T CALL ME then angled outwards into the bend pushing LACHIE'S LAD (6) and TWISTER AL (8) wider on the track. On the home turn LACHIE'S LAD ran inwards checking OKOTOKS who in turn came together with TWISTER AL when this trio were racing at the rear. When questioned in regards to the vastly improved performance of the winner RULE JUDGE JUDY (7) co-trainer Michael May informed Stewards that this was her third run since a season and has been getting fitter with each start. He added that she enjoys racing on the Addington track. |
| Race 5 | Garrard's Horse & Hound Stakes - C0 - 520 | CASINO BLACK (6) was last to jump. JOEY'S SECRET (3) ran outwards in the run to the first bend causing tightening to CHOOSE TO LOVE (4) and SCOTSOME POWER (5). Into the bend SCOTSOME POWER was badly dragged down and lost ground with OPAWA ROYAL (7), GIRL PRIDE (8) and JOEY'S SECRET all having to scout wide around this runner. On the home turn GIRL PRIDE was checked when racing in restricted quarters. SCOTSOME POWER was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 6 | Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C3 - 295 | IMPERATIVE (2) was a clear last on jumping. This bitch was then badly checked when attempting to improve into the bend dropping out to the rear. |
| Race 7 | The Miller Bar & Cafe Stakes - C0 - 520 | In an ordinary dispatch LACEY (8) was very slow to jump with OPAWA LEANNE (2), SHY AS (3) and WAGON WHEEL (4) all settling in the rear half. Into the first bend OPAWA LEANNE angled outwards when improving pushing WAGON WHEEL over extra ground. At the end of the back straight SHY AS was tightened and dropped back through the field. |
| Race 8 | Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C2 - 295 | AVERSION (6) was a touch slow to jump. AVEC LAMOUR (7) ran inwards in the early stages checking AVERSION. DITTMAN (2) ran outwards soon after checking AVERSION. Into the bend TRUE CLASSIC (1) was keen to get to the outside and in the process checked PARKERMON (3) and OHOKA BLUE (5) with this pair losing ground. AVERSION ran wide on the home turn. |
| Race 9 | Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C1/2 - 520 | SHALANA STAR (5) and OPULENT (8) were the last pair on jumping. OHOKA FRENCHI (6) ran inwards in the early stages checking SHALANA STAR while soon after BLUSHING BELLE (9) angled inwards checking OHOKA FRENCHI. BLUSHING BELLE continued her inward movement into the bend coming together with BIZARRO (4). On the bend SHALANA STAR checked off the back of OPAWA HALLY (10) and lost momentum. |
| Race 10 | C.T.V. Dash - C3 - 295 | HOT SHOT LAWYER (3), CAWBOURNE HEIDI (6) and ANOTHER BECKY (9) were the last trio on jumping. Into the first bend STARBURST BLANCH (5) angled outwards pushing BENNY'S ANGEL (7) out on to COOL JORDIE (8) who stumbled and lost ground. CAWBOURNE HEIDI was posted wide at this stage to avoid these runners. |
| Race 11 | Angler's Arms Tavern Dash - C2 - 295 | HOME TRUTH (1), BLACK TANK (2) and VITALIZE (5) were the last trio on dispatch. SMASH DORA (9) contacted the back of UPSALA JEWEL (7) into the bend with both runners losing ground and VITALIZE being hampered in behind. In the home straight VITALIZE angled outwards into the line of SMASH DORA who fell. SMASH DORA regained her paws quickly and ran to the lure injury free. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C3 - 295 | KNOX (2) angled outwards in the run down the back straight tightening JUST A MATE (3) who then ran inwards badly checking GEORGIE WONG (1) who lost ground. CAWBOURNE CHIEF (5), OPAWA WALLY (6) and ANOTHER BLEND (8) were all inconvenienced when racing handy to these runners. |
