Judicial report: OPAWA TOKEN (Lane & Wales) has completed 10 clear runs since being stood down for marring. As per Rule 80.7 that endorsement is now cancelled. Trainers A Joyce and M May were fined $100.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 when BLICKLING BRIDGE weighed in 1.6 kgs under his last race weight on 4 June 2013.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C4 - 295	HOMEBUSH EDITH (2) was a touch slow to jump. NEW YORK AFFAIR (3) jumped awkwardly contacting HOMEBUSH EDITH for a stride and dropping to the rear. On the bend JONNY JET (4) was tightened and turned sideways for a stride losing ground.
Race 2	GAP's 1000th Adoption Sprint - C5 - 295	OSCAR TUIVASA (8) was last on jumping. FIZZLE BALE (4) received a check and dropped to the rear in the initial stages as JUMPIN' JULIA (5) angled inwards. Into the bend WISE WONDER (2) was tightened and ran outwards checking JUMPIN' JULIA and OSCAR TUIVASA. Wider out OCOTILLO (7) was badly checked and dragged down when angling inwards and contacting KNOW FAVOURS (6). On the bend OCOTILLO ran inwards checking WISE WONDER who then ran outwards forcing FIZZLE BALE over extra ground.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C5 - 295	SEA SPRAY TICH (7) angled inwards marginally in the early stages contacting WANDY BOILER (6) and losing ground. CAWBOURNE QUEEN (2) and MATTI OAH (3) jostled in the run to the bend with CAWBOURNE QUEEN angling outwards on the bend shifting MATTI OAH up the track.
Race 4	Hampden Tavern Stakes - C3 - 520	WATERVIEW LASS (1) and RED TYPHOON (2) were last from the traps. Into the first bend severe tightening was experienced as OPAWA STYLE (9) angled down the track with RAMBUNCTIOUS (3), OLYMPIC MEDAL (4) and WATERVIEW LASS (1) all being badly checked and losing their chances. Garry Cleeve the Trainer of the winner TAKE NO PRISONER (8) advised Stewards that the downgrade from Class 4 was the reason that this dog was able to turn his form around. Handler Calum Weir was questioned in regards to not catching OPAWA STYLE as arranged. Stewards accepted his explanation on this occasion but he was reminded of his responsibilities.
Race 5	David Emerson Consultancy Stakes - C4 - 520	OPAWA WEBBY (6) was last to jump. OPAWA BOMB (3) ran outwards in the early stages checking MICK AND PADDY (4) and UNSHAKEN (5). Shortly after PINDARI (2) shifted up the track with OPAWA BOMB, MICK AND PADDY and OPAWA WEBBY all receiving checks and losing ground. PINDARI and MICK AND PADDY jostled for a few strides into the first bend. OPAWA BOMB was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 6	Barron's Supplies South Island Champs Heat - C5q - 520 Heat 1	This race was delayed by two minutes at the request of Raceday Control. FINN MCMISSILE (6) and KNOW ATTEMPT (8) were slowest from the traps. HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (7) made his customary dive towards the rail in the early stages checking NO UNDIES SUNDY (5) and GORDON BALE (1) into the bend. OPAWA RAPID (2) angled outwards soon after coming together with ULTIMATE DREAM (3) for a stride with OPAWA RAPID dropping out to a clear last. OPAWA RAPID was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 7	Barron's Supplies South Island Champs Heat - C5q - 520 Heat 2	OPAWA CASPER (8) was last to jump. The favourite RAW ENERGY (6) was sandwiched between BELLA DIOR (5) and KNOW CLASS (7) in the run to the first bend and lost ground. Soon after WILD GROVE (1) ran outwards severely checking RAW ENERGY with this pair losing their chances.
Race 8	Barron's Supplies South Island Champs Heat - C5q - 520 Heat 3	JINJARANGO (4) and PIGGY BACK (7) were the last to jump. PIGGY BACK then ran inwards checking JINJARANGO after 50 metres. ADULTEROUS (9) ran outwards soon after again hampering JINJARANGO. RUSSELL HART (1) ran outwards into the first bend pushing MAGIC LASS (8) over extra ground. In the home straight SMASH AMY (6) shifted up the track when tiring and collided with ADULTEROUS who was attempting to improve. Following the race the winner OPAWA SWEDE (5) was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 9	Buy Sell & Exchange N Z Stayers Cup Heat - C2dq - 732 Heat 1	LAW TO EXCEL (8) was a clear last on jumping. GOLDSTAR BELLA (2) ran outwards on dispatch colliding with RETALIATE FIRST (3). KNOW PERIL (1) and GOLDSTAR BELLA (2) came together into the first bend losing momentum.
Race 10	Buy Sell & Exchange N Z Stayers Cup Heat - C2dq - 732 Heat 2	KNOW HONOUR (4) and LITTLE TEEGAN (8) were the last pair on jumping. CAWBOURNE KESHA (9) was tightened into the first bend and lost ground. CAWBOURNE KESHA then checked off the back of LITTLE TEEGAN on the first bend and lost more ground.
Race 11	Happy 70th Birthday Ed Stanley Dash - C5 - 295	DRYSDALE (8) was a clear last on jumping. Into the bend ELKI (5) and ETCHED IN STONE (6) came together when racing in tight quarters with HOMEBUSH HELEN (3) suffering a check and losing ground. On the bend ELKI checked outwards off the back of ETCHED IN STONE and caused a terminal check to WANDY DEVIL (4) who lost all chance.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	AUSTIN WANA (6) angled inwards in the early stages pushing GOTTA GO ACE (5) downwards on to FALSE STEP (4), BLICKLING BRIDGE (3) and NERD CORNER (2) with KIN NIKKI (1) being turned sideways and losing ground. On the bend BLICKLING BRIDGE checked off the back of KIN NIKKI and lost ground.
