Track: Good The meeting was conducted in chilly conditions but on a well presented track and the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: ANOTHER LADY was advised to the Stewards as being a scratching by a J.McInerney kennel staff member at approxamately 2.50 pm but the Club had not been advised at that time. As this was the 3rd time in recent weeks that the McInerney kennel had failed to scratch by the required time, the matter will be referred to the J.C.A with a charge of a breach of Rule 64.2 being preferred. R.Waite the Trainer of BARRY'S WAY was fined $ 100-00 under the Minor Infringement Table for a breach of Rule 69.11 when the dog was down in weight 1.8 kilograms from its last start weight on 03.06.2013

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C2 - C2 - 305	OPAWA PRINCE and UNO FLASH bumped together at the start and settled back. UNO FLASH collided with the hind quarters of OPAWA PRINCE entering the home straight and they both lost ground with UNO FLASH the most affected.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C2 - C2 - 520	WHAT'S UP GEE was checked entering the back straight when racing inside BULET TOOTH TONY and he lost several lengths , went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone ) C3 - C3 - 305	MR BIG STUFF shifted out from the start and MATILDA'S BABE shifted in which resulted in TAWNY PORT and SURF QUAKE being hampered but they recovered quickly and finished in 1st and 2nd places. MATILDA'S BABE drew box 8 and was forced to race wide throughout and finished in 6th place. SAFE AND SECURE was handy enough going into the first turn but brushed with GEORGE BAXTER and lost his place and went back to last . He was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 4	Guthrie Bowron C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	THRILLING CAIRO was slow to begin and was last going into the first bend but made up ground well to finish in 4th place. KYLIES BELLE, CAWBOURNE TILLY and OKUKU DREAMER bumped together and settled at the rear going into the first bend and they stayed back to the finish. LAUGH LIKE SANTA was handy going into the back straight but was checked losing several lengths and he never recovered the lost ground.
Race 5	Gary Ross Decorator C3 - C3 - 305	MISS FOLEY started from the outside box and raced wide throughout covering extra ground and finished last.
Race 6	Wanganui Security C4 - C4 - 305	EXCESSIVE SPEED, SEE TO BELIEVE and WHERE'S CHICKEN jostled together and lost momentum soon after the start. EMMA MARIE shifted in going to the first corner crowding COSMIC FURY, ANOTHER GON and SEE TO BELIEVE and they lost ground.
Race 7	Mickey's Super Liquor C4 Feature - C4 - 520	COOL IZMIR shifted out from the start and crowded THANKS CHARLIE, NONU NONU BOOM, BACKYARD BULLY and SPEED LEGEND and they all lost a little momentum with THANKS CHARLIE, NONU NONU BOOM and BACKYARD BULLY the most affected.
Race 8	Broad Roofing C4 - C4 - 305	TIME'S UP was tightened and checked between AUSSIE HAKA and ATE PIZZA when the start was made and KINETIC RIO was also tightened and checked soon after the start when racing between STOCK TAKER and STARLA. General tightening going into the first corner resulted in checks to HOMEBUSH BUFFY, STOCK TAKER, KINETIC RIO, TIME'S UP and STARLA and they all lost ground and finished in the last five places.
Race 9	Renown Bakery (Wanganui) C5 - C5 - 305	The start was delayed by three minutes while IONA HAKA was examined by the Vet at the starting point and was declared a late scratching due to opening an old mouth wound . CALL ME RALPH was slow to begin and settled back. Going into the first corner CALL ME RALPH checked off the heels of BELKARA and they both lost ground. LLAMEDOS shifted in and checked UNO ALLEGRO going into the bend and UNO ALLEGO stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete ( Wanganui ) C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	SAMMY JAMES was tightened between PINK SOCK and CHAINSAW PETE going to the first corner and he went back to last. Soon after EL JETTA shifted in and crowded WEE DIGER which was pushed in onto CHAINSAW PETE and they checked , went back to the rear and stayed there to finish in the last two places.
Race 11	Palamountains Nutrition C5 - C5 - 305	STIFF began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance. HOMEBUSH BORIS and ENFLAME were also a little slow to begin, settled back and never recovered.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305	HYPOTENTIAL was slow to begin losing two lengths but recovered quickly to loop the field and he won with ease. DONKEY DEEP shifted in from the start and caused checks to FLYING FLYNN, WILD PUNTING, SLANGEVAR, BEE RABBIT and HOMEBUSH LIGNITE and they lost varying amounts of ground and gfinished in the last five places. BEE RABBIT and SLANGEVAR collided entering the home straight and finished at the rear.
