| Race 1 | christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Sprint - C0 - 295 | BLUE GALE ROSE (7) was very slow to jump with LA FONTAINE (2) and MASSAGE ONLY (3) also settling well back. GO NOLA (4) shifted up the track in the early stages brushing HOMEBUSH STING (6) for a stride. MASSAGE ONLY angled outwards when improving into the bend obliging HOMEBUSH STING to cover extra ground. Early in the run home MAMALULU (1) and TEEVEE GIDGET (5) came together losing some momentum. |
| Race 2 | Happy Birthday Lynda White Dash - C0 - 295 | BLACK BARRACUDA (7) and FANTAS FICTION (8) were tardiest from the traps. NOPEE (4) angled inwards tightening MEGA GIRL (3) and BEADMAN (2) in the early stages. Into the bend BEADMAN ran outwards checking NOPEE and KNOW PITY (6) with MEGA GIRL, BLACK BARRACUDA and FANTAS FICTION all being inconvenienced in behind. On the home turn NOPEE checked outwards badly checking FANTAS FICXTION when this pair were in the rear group. |
| Race 3 | Coalgate Tavern Sprint - C0 - 295 | DRIP DRY OCEAN (3) was very slow to jump with his sister SUMMER LOVE (7) also settling well back. Into the bend CHARLIE'S PAL (5) ran inwards checking OKUKU MUPPET (4) who lost ground. As this bitch was drifting GIRL PRIDE (1) angled off the rail and checked OKUKU MUPPET. On the home turn OKUKU MUPPET ran outwards coming together and inconveniencing SUMMER LOVE with this pair dropping out to the rear. |
| Race 4 | Garrard's Horse & Hound Stakes - C0 - 520 | WONGWAY GEORGIE (8) was last to jump. The favourite BLUSHING BELLE (7) crossed the face of the field in the approach to the first bend checking OPAWA JAY (5), KNOW SOLUTION (10) and COURT THE BELLE (9) who all lost ground with LACEY (1) and CHOOSE TO LOVE (3) being hampered in behind. WONGWAY GEORGIE ran outwards on the home turn checking COURT THE BELLE while soon after COURT THE BELLE angled outwards taking the line of CHOOSE TO LOVE. |
| Race 5 | Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C0 - 295 | VIENNA (1) and UNO NOSEY (6) were the tardiest from the traps. The pacemaking BOWMAN (4) angled outwards and covered extra ground on the bend. VIENNA ran outwards into the bend pushing ANOTHER ANOTHER (3) and GENIA HAKA (8) wider on the track as this pair were attempting to improve. |
| Race 6 | Super Pets Maiden Final - C0f - 520 | WAGON WHEEL (2), MR. JIMMY (5) and OPAWA LEANNE (10) were the slowest trio to begin. OPAWA HALLY (4) was tightened in the early stages and dropped to a rearward position. OPAWA LEANNE ran very wide on the home turn but finished quickly when balanced for her third placing. |
| Race 7 | Hurunui Hotel Sprint - C2 - 295 | HOME TRUTH (5) was last out with TRUE CLASSIC (1) awkwardly away. TRUE CLASSIC was badly checked into the bend stumbling and dropping back through the field with HOMEBUSH CRUDEN (4) and SMASH DORA (2) inconvenienced in this process. HOME TRUTH raced wide around the bend. In the home straight the winner GOTTA GO ACE (6) angled inwards placing KENNY'S COMET (7) in restricted room to his inside. |
| Race 8 | Chris & Lisa Earl Dash - C2 - 295 | KNOW SKILL (7) ran inwards coming together with OKUKU LILLY (6) in the back straight. Soon after NITRO MABEL (4) angled outwards checking OKUKU LILLY and KNOW SKILL who both lost ground. On the home turn JACK'S A JEWEL (8) checked off the heels of FLY CANARY FLY (5) when improving rapidly with JACK'S A JEWEL losing momentum at this point. |
| Race 9 | Ashburton GRC Punters Contest Sunday 23 June Stakes - C1 - 520 | CHILL OUT RALPH (4) ran inwards in the early stages coming together with GOLDSTAR BELLA (3) and dropping to the rear. GYPSY HUNTER (7) crossed the face of the field soon after checking OHOKA SANDY (2). OHOKA SANDY then ran outwards colliding with GOLDSTAR BELLA and dropping to the rear. ROB'S MATE (1) was checked at the end of the back straight as PADDY BAXTER (6) improved to its outside and then angled inwards. |
| Race 10 | Bill's Bar & Bistro Dash - C2 - 295 | This race was delayed by a minute at the request of Raceday Control. TEPIRITA CHARGER (1) angled outwards into the bend inconveniencing PHIL WART (2) on his outside. WANDY GAYLENE (4) lost a length in behind these runners at that point. As a result BIGTIME YAHOO (5) checked outwards pushing CAWBOURNE REEAH (7) over extra ground. |
| Race 11 | Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C1/2 - 520 | DITTMAN (9) was slowest to jump from the outside. OPAWA PEEKAY (2) received a slight check in the early stages and dropped right out to finish a long last with this bitch being referred to the vet for assessment. HEAR HARE HERE (10) ran wide on the first bend. OPAWA WALLY (7) lost momentum on the home turn when racing in restricted quarters. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C2 - 295 | AVERSION (2) ran outwards in the back straight as TWISTER AL (5) angled inwards resulting in CHIPEWYAN (4) being tightened and losing ground. AVERSION continued to angle outwards into the bend pushing TWISTER AL over extra ground. |
