| Race 1 | [email protected] Sprint - C0 - 375 | MISS PAEROA began awkwardly away from midfield GYPSEY BRAD cut in hard across the face of the field to the rail Racing in to the first turn PAIGE ME came across forcing MISS PAEROA on to WARSTEINER and SKYHIGH LEVI WARSTEINER was severely checked losing ground back towards the rear BRAVE PHOENIX after being slow away rushed up in to a handy position on the top bend being held out widest in to the home straight he was slightly hampered by UNO KIM on the home turn losing a length or so In the run down the home straight IKE JONES was hampered for racing room along the inner with him finishing in 4th placing at the line |
| Race 2 | Hautapu Veterinary Clinic Stakes - C0 - 457 | From the jump YOU'RE LUCKY cut inwards on to HEFEWEIZEN OBI WAN KENOBI and MADAM KNOCKA with all these runners being checked Racing in to the first turn OBI WAN KENOBI was severely checked losing several lengths as YOU'RE LUCKY cut inwards on to MADAM KNOCKA OBI WAN KENOBI was unable to improve there after finishing towards the rear at the line |
| Race 3 | Te Awamutu Self Storage Sprint - C3 - 375 | LOCHINVAR YASI was slowest away LOCKEY'S CALL cut inwards knocking LAFAYETTE off balance she lost a length then caught the heels of LOCKEY'S CALL who kept on his inward run on to the shoulder of CHERRY TREE LANE jostling this runner for several strides in behind DIGGIN ' ON YOU ran on to the back of LOCKEY'S CALL stumbling slightly losing a length or so |
| Race 4 | Greyhounds North Maiden Distance - C0d - 650 | As the field jumped away from the boxes ALPINADOR and LOCHINVAR ONYX came together with ZAGATO being checked back from between these runners |
| Race 5 | Palamountains Nutrition Stakes - C3 - 457 | Racing to the first turn THRILLING TREMOR was hampered and held up for a couple of strides as REBEL KAHN raced across with TWIN RIVERS being forced to change ground in to the racing line of THRILLING TREMOR |
| Race 6 | Fond Foods Ltd Stakes - C2 - 457 | EDWARD CULLEN began awkwardly then changed ground outwards ending up 5 lengths in the rear in the run to the first turn Soon after HOT LASS came out as POSITIVITY came in resulting in BORASCO being jostled and checked as JEMBO came on to BORASCO hampering this runner for several strides racing in to the first bend POSITIVITY raced across making contact with the rail losing 5 or so lengths and finishing a clear last at the line POSITIVITY was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 7 | General Engravers Sprint - C1 - 375 | Soon after the start AISA OSTEE ran in bumping IT'S A DOLL in to BOSS APPEAL who was checked and caught heels as he was pushed in to BIGTIME WHIZ Racing in to the first turn IT'S A DOLL ran in and bumped BIGTIME WHIZ IT'S A DOLL moved outwards as she straightened in to the path of HIT DA NOS who was forced in to hindquarters and fell HIT DA NOS regained her footing to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 8 | YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C4 - 375 | As the field entered the first turn there was tightening and jostling between THRILLING EDGE FLYING FABIO and SAMSON DASH who had moved outwards as THRILLING EDGE crossed SAMSON DASH was tightened back checking off the heels of THRILLING EDGE going back through the field on the home turn SAMSON DASH ran out sharply in to OPAWA SACHA costing both runners momentum and several lengths at this point SAMSON DASH finished several lengths in the rear at the line |
| Race 9 | All Sew Embroidery Stakes - C4 - 457 | INDIANA IZMIR was slowest away racing in to the first bend INDIANA IZMIR was held up for several strides in behind SPITFIRE OSTI INDIANA IZMIR got clear racing room soon after out wide and made good ground late in the race to finish strongly in to 2nd placing at the line |
| Race 10 | Affordable Pet Accessories Sprint - C2 - 375 | In the run in to the first turn PENO BOY galloped on the heels of TARAPUGA who was checked losing 3 lengths PENO BOY ran outwards in to the hindquarters of WINSOME ACHEIVER who was hampered for a couple of strides PENO BOY and WINSOME ACHEIVER both lost ground back to the rear and never got back in to contention there after |
| Race 11 | 0800 4 Down Cow Stakes - C5 - 457 | In the run to the first turn SPACE RACE raced across on to PIGGY BACK ( fav ) forcing this runner back on to the heels of TOI SHAN PIGGY BACK soon changed ground outwards in an attempt to make ground but could not improve so he headed inwards to the body of the field where he was checked and went back towards the rear he raced widest across the top bend and battled in the home straight in to 5th placing at the line |
| Race 12 | MTA Gift Voucher Sprint - C5 - 375 | THRILLING ISSUES began awkwardly losing a length Racing too the first turn BLACK HOMBRE raced across making contact with the hindquarters of EXPLOSIVE OSTI turning this runner sideways at this point a few strides on UNO LACHLAN sped towards the lead cutting down to the rail severely checking CALAMITY FREE and ALABASTER who went almost back to the rear CALAMITY FREE ran outwards sharply off the back of UNO LACHLAN forcing THRILLING ISSUES LADAKH and EXPLOSIVE OSTI almost to the outside of the track on the point of the bend EXPLOSIVE OSTI amazingly recovered from this to finish in to 2nd placing at the line |
| Race 13 | Clubhouse Sports Bar Stakes - C1 - 457 | From box 8 WABI SABI ran almost out to the edge of the track in the early stage he changed ground inwards to the middle of the track racing in to the bend covering extra ground he ran on strongly for 2nd placing at the line |
| Race 14 | Sergio @ Stud Stakes - C1 - 457 | VALUE PLUS was last away CAWBOURNE PENNY began awkwardly Racing in to the first turn LITTLE TEEGAN came in as SASHA'S ONE came out resulting in MADAM NORRIS being tightened and checked back at this point URBAN COMBAT raced across making contact with the side of LITTLE TEEGAN with SASHA'S ONE running up on the back of URBAN COMBAT with both runners almost falling they quickly recovered but had lost ground back towards the rear and they never got back in to contention there after |
