| Race 1 | Absolutely Electrical C1 - C1 - 520 | CALM BROOKE shifted in on the first corner making contact with BIG GIRL WELSHY and was then galloped on from behind by MONKEY QUEEN who shifted out abruptly and cannoned into UNO HEIDI. MONKEY QUEEN, CALM BROOKE and UNO HEIDI lost several lengths in the incident and finished in the last three places. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C2 - C2 - 305 | SHEEZA MEESHA led to the first corner but was bumped from the inside by FURIOUS RESPONSE and was then struck from behind by MORNING LIGHT and turned sideways. FIRE BOY BAXTER and RAMESSEE were unable to avoid the incident and along with MORNING LIGHT and SHEEZA MEESHA, they lost several lengths and all chance. SHEEZA MEESHA went off stride after the incident , finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C2 - C2 - 305 | ERIC'S SONG and WORKING WORKING were both a little slow to begin. ERIC'S SONG lost ground at the back of the field going into the bend when awkwardly placed on the heels of BULLABAKANKA. SYDENHAM BUBBLES and STEVIE'S MAGIC jostled together for several strides going to the first corner and lost ground. |
| Race 4 | J P Print, Petone C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | THRILLING CAIRO shifted in going to the first corner and hampered CAWBOURNE BREE and JUST MAC which both lost ground. Soon after HELLO ELLO checked off the heels of BULET TOOTH TONY and went back onto THRILLING CAIRO and they both lost momentum. CAWBOURNE BREE then bumped HELLO ELLO when moving through on the inside and HELLO ELLO went back to the rear. MONTY DOSH ran wide into the first bend when avoiding the incidents occurring closer to the rail and he covered extra ground and finished at the rear. |
| Race 5 | Wanganui Security C3 - C3 - 305 | EMMA MARIE shifted out from the start and bumped with SLANGEVAR and they both lost momentum for a couple of strides. JUST A BOY was a little slow to begin losing two lengths. He then jostled with SURF QUAKE for several strides going into the bend with both losing ground and they finished in the rear group. |
| Race 6 | Palamountains Nutrition C3 - C3 - 305 | CHELSEA'S BEAUTY became awkwardly placed between runners going into the bend and she then ran wide over extra ground and finished in last place. |
| Race 7 | Gary Ross Decorator C4 - C4 - 305 | AUSSIE HAKA, TIME'S UP and ANOTHER RAEWYN were slow to begin and settled at the rear. THRILLING SQUEAL shifted in going into the first corner and jostled with RED MOOVA HOOVA and RED MOOVA HOOVA then galloped on the back of THRILLING SQUEAL . TIME'S UP, who was following then galloped over THRILLING SQUEAL bringing that runner down and she was referred to the Vet for assessment. TIME'S UP and RED MOOVA HOOVA lost several lengths and all chance in the incident. |
| Race 8 | Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | PINK SOCK shifted in going to the first corner and dictated RILEY'S MATE inwards which resulted in checks to SAM I AM and BIGTIME LATTE and they went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish. |
| Race 9 | Broad Roofing C4 Final - C4f - 305 | THIS IS SWIP and HOMEBUSH CRAIG were slow to begin. HOMEBUSH CRAIG then shifted out to race wide down the back straight and on the bend and finished in last place. THIS IS SWIP recovered to make up grouund and finished in 4th place. |
| Race 10 | NZRS C4/5 Final - NZRSf - 520 | UNSHAKEN shifted in from the start and checked OPAWA SWEDE which settled back. OPAWA SWEDE checked off the heels of SPACE RACE on two occasions going into the first bend and they both lost ground and stayed back throughout to finish at the rear. |
| Race 11 | Mickey's Super Liquor C5 - C5 - 305 | ENAZUMA was slow to begin losing two lengths. LEADFOOT LENNY shifted out on the home turn and forced MIRAGE to shift out across the heels of DARLEK KHAN and MIRAGE lost ground as a result. |
| Race 12 | The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305 | HYPOTENTIAL appeared to clip a heel of IONA HAKA in the back striaght and fell and he was referred to the Vet for assessment. |
