Weather: Raining
Track: Dead The Track was wet and slushy throughout the programme but provided good footing The Curator attempted to groom the track but this was stopped after race 6 All other equipment worked well throughout the meeting
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: JT McInerney was fined $100-00 rule 69.11 when LOOPTASTIC was presented to race 2.7 kgs up from his last race start on 8-5-2013
The meeting was put back 1 race from race 7 due to concerns raised by some Trainers regarding the track surface after heavy showers during the early part of the meeting
After inspecting the track and consultation with the club Veterinary surgeon and several Trainers the Stewards were satisfied that the Track was safe to race on.
Trainer Glen Quirk was the only one that requested his remaining 3 runners be allowed to be scratched
The Stewards allowed LINCOLN FLYER Race 7 BOUND BY PRIDE and THRILLING TERROR race 9 to be declared late scratchings
The meeting concluded with out any further problems with rain making conditions pretty miserable throughout the remainder of the programme

Race 1	Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457	Soon after the start SYDENHAM JADE crossed outwards over the heels of CHASE OSTEE wider out GICCI RUSH came across on to MIGHTY BAXTER and MR DARCI with these runners being checked going back on SYDENHAM JADE who lost several lengths back to the rear
Race 2	Woodville Dash C0 - C0 - 375	CUTS DEEP and LOOPTASTIC went up with the lids with LOOPTASTIC being a clear last in the early running DIXIE QUEEN cut inwards towards the rail COYOTE CAUGHT YA checked off her heels going back a couple of lengths Racing in to the first turn UNO CHARM raced across on to the shoulder of DIXIE QUEEN forcing this runner back on to COYOTE CAUGHT YA DIXIE QUEEN was forced to check back off heels moving outwards in to the line of CIRCLE OF LIFE checking this runner these two runners jostled for several strides DIXIE QUEEN ran out of room and went back through the field as did COYOTE CAUGHT YA LOOPTASTIC after losing 5 lengths at the start was forced to check off heels on the top bend he ran on well in the home straight
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375	KEZZ went up with the lids slightly at the start Racing to the first turn TIME FOR WHAT caught the heels of FLAYSOC as this runner was tightened and went back soon after KEZZ when improving ran outwards when avoiding heels forcing FLAYSOC and NINA BE GOOD wide on to the bend TIME FOR WHAT in the rear at this point gained a clear run through on the rail to finish in 3rd placing at the line

Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C1 - C1 - 457	From the boxes KNOW WISDOM raced across on to CRUSHED MONKEY forcing SAUCY TOMATO back from between runners SAUCY TOMATO ran in on to KOTUMBA checking this runner SAUCY TOMATO then raced out to the centre of the track and raced wide there after
Race 6	Marton Dash C1 - C1 - 375	CORSAIR was awkwardly away from the jump wider out MISSION DRIVE and KNOW CHARITY came together Racing in to the first turn OPAWA BLACK came across on to PIRI who was tightened and checked back TENKAY DOWN up ahead was hampered and tightened for several strides as CORSAIR was pushed outwards Racing on to the bend PIRI ran outwards avoiding the heels of MISSION DRIVE both these runners ran wide
Race 7	Feilding Dash C2 - C2 - 375	The meeting was put back 1 race due to some concerns with the track surface from some trainers & handlers as they were parading around to the start The Stewards Club manager and several Trainers inspected the track The Stewards determined that although the track was wet the footing was deemed to be safe for racing One Trainer requested to late scratch his runner LINCOLN FLYER with the Stewards allowing this EUNUCHS LUCK knuckled over on leaving the boxes losing a length In the run to the first turn COSMIC FURY raced across tightening runners SHANGHAI SAM who was checked and went back on to ERIC'S SONG and EUNUCHS LUCK BULET TOOTH TONY raced wide in to the bend covering a fair amount of extra ground there after
Race 8	Foxton Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	NONU NONU BOOM dwelt at the start losing a couple of lengths he recovered quickly in to stride to race around the outer to the lead but wilted late in the run home to finish in 4th placing at the line Racing across the top bend JUST MAC was checked after ODE TO LIBERTY came back on to him with JUST MAC lost momentum and was unable to get back in to contention there after
Race 9	www.racingdogs.co.nz C3 - C3 - 375	DIGGIN ON YOU went up with the lids losing a couple of lengths he was held up for several strides racing across the top bend when getting on heels losing ground to the rear he ran on in the home straight when in the clear
Race 10	Shannon Dash C4 - C4 - 375	RUNAWAY QUEEN was slowest away she raced around the outer across the top bend finishing strongly in the home straight for 2nd placing at the line WISECRACK LAD ( fav ) raced widest through out the journey covering a fair amount of extra ground finishing strongly down the outer for 4th placing at the line TRINITY BOY was last to the line and was referred to the vet for assessment
Race 11	Cloverlea Sprint C5 - C5 - 375	TILT YOUR GLASS slipped for a stride as they left the boxes he lost several lengths to the rear he raced out wide around the top bend and in to the home straight finishing among the beaten runners at the line
Race 12	Ashurst Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	Racing on to the top bend COB WEBBER raced around runners tightening STOLEN MONEY in on to SAMMY JAMES EL JETTA and PINK SOCK STOLEN MONEY and SAMMY JAMES went back to the rear losing several lengths and were unable to get in to contention there after
