Track: Good The lure wire had to replaced following the 2nd Totalisator race after it was found that the wire had become slightly damaged. The meeting was put back two races and then proceeded without further problems.

Judicial report: Trainer J.T.McInerney was fined $ 250-00 under the Minor Infringement Table for breaches of Rule 64.2 when six runners were late scratched from the meeting apparently due to communications problems within the Kennel. BOTANY SEATON, BOTANY JESSIE, BOTANY DAVE and BABY JAMES were already on stand down, HOMEBUSH DIAMOND has been stood down with diarrhoea and ARNIE BAXTER will be presented at Addington on 23.05.13. Trainers Stapleton and Bonnett were fined $ 100-00 under the Minor Infringement Table for a breach of Rule 64.2 when OPAQUE was a late scratching from Race 10. Trainer T.McCracken was fined $ 50-00 under the Minor Infringement Table for a breach of Rule 111.6 when the Greyhound AMICUS CURIAE escaped through an open window in his vehicle, suffered minor injuries and was a late scratching. Trainer G.Clarke was fined $ 100-00 under the Minor Infringement Table for a breach of Rule 69.11 when PIN UP PUPPY was presented to race 2.0 kilograms underweight from its last start on 08.05.13.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305	ANOTHER DRINK settled at the rear and then checked off the heels of PRETTY SNEAKY going into the bend and lost two lengths. IT'S A DOLL shifted out and bumped JUDY IN DISGUISE who was pushed wide losing ground and she finished in last place.
Race 2	NZRS Novice Heat 1 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 1	FLIRTATION WALK was slow to begin losing two lengths and she then raced wide into the first bend losing further ground and finished in last place.
Race 3	NZRS Novice Heat 2 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 2	One strand on the lure wire rope was found to have broken following race two and as a result the meeting was put back two races while repairs and testing were carried out. THRILLING ZOOM and FLIRT WITH ME were the slowest to begin. THRILLING ZOOM recovered to make up ground and won with ease but FLIRT WITH ME stayed back throughout the race and finished in last place.
Race 4	NZRS Novice Heat 3 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 3	PANDEMONIUM PAWS shifted out from the start and hampered CHOOSE TO LOVE who was forced to race wide to the first corner. THATS KING was checked and lost a little ground on the first corner.
Race 5	NZRS Novice Heat 4 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 4	MARIAH led on the first bend and was observed to be racing closer than the acceptable distance from the lure for a few strides but the Stewards were of the firm opinion that no runner was affected in the slightest by the incident. KOTUMBA and WAGON WHEEL jostled together going to the first corner and both lost momentum , settled back and stayed there to the finish. BOTANY KEVIN bumped with UNO HEIDI going into the first bend and UNO HEIDI was pushed wide and lost three lengths.
Race 6	NZRS Novice Heat 5 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 5	All clear.
Race 7	NZRS Novice Heat 6 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 6	JAG YOU ARE was a little slow to begin and was then checked going into the first bend when UNO CHARM clipped his heels. QUEEN ROWDY shifted out from the start and HOMEBUSH NOS shifted in which resulted in BIZARRO, FULLA PRIDE and UNO CHARM being checked and losing ground.
Race 8	NZRS Novice Heat 7 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 7	MONKEY QUEEN was slow to begin losing two lengths. ALAMEIN GUS, GOLDSTAR BELLA, MONKEY QUEEN and WYNDHAM jostled together on the first corner and lost momentum.
Race 9	NZRS Novice Heat 8 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 8	BOTANY CRAIG and ALAMEIN JAH came together and bumped on the first corner losing a couple of lengths. TWIN TIGERS went off stride going into the first bend and drifted off the back of the field and failed to finish. TWIN TIGERS was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 10	NZRS Novice Heat 9 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 9	The favourite SPEEDY KAZZA was slow to begin losing two lengths but she made up ground to finish in 3rd place.
Race 11	NZRS Novice Heat 10 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 10	OPAWA ANDREA, GUCCI RUSH and COVER TO COVER were a little slow to begin. DRACO BAXTER and OPAWA ANDREA collided going into the first bend and OPAWA ANDREA shifted out and collided with BELLDEEN and they lost several lengths and stayed back to finish at the rear. TEPIRITA CHARGER and EXCITED ROYALE collided going into the back striaght and they both lost ground.
Race 12	NZRS Novice Heat 11 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 11	SECONDS GOOD and OPAWA WALLY bumped together and lost ground when the start was made. OPEHU TIGER checked off the back of RIJEKA on the first bend and they both lost ground.
Race 13	NZRS Novice Heat 12 - NZRSq - 520 Heat 12	ASHER shifted in going into the first bend and checked BELLE CADEAU who went back onto TIME FOR WHAT and they both lost ground.
Race 14	Wanganui Security C1 Final - C1f - 305	SYDILICIOUS was very slow to begin losing several lengths and all chance. KATE ROSE also began awkwardly and settled back. AZURE DREAMS shifted out from the start and hampered PIRI which settled back. THRILLING CLOUD shifted in going into the first corner and checked PIRI which lost two lengths.
Race 15	Keenan Concrete C2 Heat 1 - C2q - 305 Heat 1	HOMEBUSH COLT was slow to begin losing four lengths. TWO WAYS was checked on the bend when making contact with WHERE'S CHICKEN and he drifted back from there to finish in last place.
Race 16	Mickey's Super Liquor C2 Heat 2 - C2q - 305 Heat 2	SHANGHAI SAM shifted in going into the first bend and caused checks to ROXY RASCAL, SHEEZA MEESHA and EUREKA IZMIR with SHEEZA MEESHA being the most affected and she lost several lengths and finished in last place. OKUKU WEE MAN was also affected in the incident '
Race 21	Non-tote heats - C1q - 305 Heat 1	SPEEDY FEET shifted in onto RED HOT DUTCH going into the first corner and they both lost ground and finished at the rear.
Race 22	Non-tote heats - C1q - 305 Heat 2	NICKI HAKA shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to KUROHARA and WILD VAGABOND which was put off balance and he shifted out onto HOMEBUSH JULIE and they lost several lengths.
