Judicial report: OPAWA GOODIE (Lane & Wales), which was stood down at Wanganui on 15 May, was checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and found to be free of injury. Therefore under Rule 82.5 the stand down is rescinded.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C2 - 295	OKUKU BOBO (1) and LADY IN SHADES (2) were the slowest pair to jump. MAKE YOUR POINT (7) and WINSTON WHO (9) came together into the bend and lost ground. LADY IN SHADES faltered into the bend and dropped right out. Co-trainer Warren Smith advised Stewards that she would now be retired.
Race 2	Angler's Arm Tavern Dash - C3 - 295	HOME TRUTH (4) was tightened in the early stages. Into the bend BILLY MUGGINS (5) angled inwards placing HOME TRUTH and HOMEBUSH COCO (2) in restricted room with this pair dropping to the rear.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3/4 - 295	FIREMAN'S ESCORT (2) and ANOTHER COLT (7) both missed the jump settling at the rear. On the bend one of the favourites PRIMITIVE (4) was held up behind COOL JORDIE (1) with PRIMITIVE losing momentum.
Race 4	Sky High Scaffolding Stakes - C2 - 520	RED TYPHOON (3) and JUNIOR WHAT (4) were tardy from the traps. OHOKA FRENCHI (5) was tightened in the run to the first bend losing ground. At the entrance to the back straight GIRL RACER (2) angled outwards checking THRILLING JONAH (6) and JUNIOR WHAT.
Race 5	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Dash - C5 - 295	EXCUSE PLEASE (2), KNOW ESCAPE (3) and DEANNE'S MAGIC (5) lacked early speed and settled well back. Into the bend PICK THE TIP (8) shifted down the track checking NIPPA MARY (7) and ROQETTE (6). Closer in HOMEBUSH HELEN (4) and OCOTILLO (1) were also inconvenienced because of continued motion inwards from those outside runners. Following the race KNOW ESCAPE was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 6	Yella Mustard At Stud Dash - C5 - 295	PRETTY GOOD (7) and OSCAR TUIVASA (8) were a shade slow in the early stages. HOMEBUSH EDITH (4) angled inwards into the bend tightening GITCHA EASY (3) and CAWBOURNE DUSTY (2) who lost ground. BUTTERBEAN (6) was held up for room on the home turn and went to the line without clear space.
Race 7	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C0d - 645	OPAWA JAKE (1) was last to jump and remained in that position throughout. OPAWA MIDNIGHT (9) lost ground in the early stages. Into the first bend the favourite PINDARI (4) came together with OPAWA MIDNIGHT and lost ground.
Race 8	Hurunui Hotel Stakes - C3/4 - 520	SMASH AMY (2) and INDI'S GRACE (4) dropped to the rear in the early stages. NO UNDIES SUNDY (8) crossed down the track in the run to the first bend tightening WATERVIEW LASS (7) and ADULTEROUS (6). WATERVIEW LASS then raced wide around the first bend losing ground. INDI'S GRACE was late obtaining clear racing room making ground late for third.
Race 9	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C5 - 295	NOT A KNOW (8) was last to jump. NOT A KNOW then ran inwards colliding with CAWBOURNE MOFF (6) for a stride. On the home turn HOMEBUSH MAYHEM (1) ran outwards pushing CAMPAIGNER (4) wider on the track with this runner making solid contact with NOT A KNOW who was improving quickly around the outside.
Race 10	Buy Sell & Exchange Feature - R/A - 520	FLYING MOE (7) ran inwards in the early stages checking OPAWA SWEDE (5) and OPAWA JED (4) who settled well back. At the end of the back straight OPAWA NO EAR (1) checked off the back of a tiring POPSTAR ROCKET (3) losing momentum for a stride. Stewards delayed the giving of an All Clear until viewing the official photo of the finish of the race. An image placed on Trackside appeared to show OPAWA SWEDE winning the race but it was established that this was a shadow on the track with a narrow margin actually favouring OPAWA NO EAR. After confirmation of this placings were confirmed.
Race 11	Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C5 - 295	NOVA'S FORTUNE (1), WANDY DEVIL (3) and HOMEBUSH SARGE (8) were the last trio to leave the traps. JENNINGS (6) ran inwards checking CIRI RIOLI (5) into the bend with JENNINGS then running outwards and checking HOMEBUSH SARGE who lost ground.
Race 12	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C5 - 520	BRIGHTON BULLET (8) was last to jump. In the run to the first bend RAW ENERGY (5) contacted JINJA POWER (1) when crossing to the rail.
Race 13	Islington Tavern Sprint - C3/4 - 295	ANOTHER JEWEL (1) was last to jump. GAZZA'S PRIDE (3) shifted up the track in the back straight coming together with ANOTHER BECKY (6). GAZZA'S PRIDE continued her outwards movement into the bend causing terminal checks to ANOTHER BECKY and FIERY FLOWER (8) who both lost their chances.
Race 14	Carol's T.A.B. Dash - C3 - 295	RINGA DING (1), BLONDE TORI (2) and WILL EXCITE (8) were the last to jump. VISUAL ILLUSION (7) ran inwards in the early stages and checked off the back of ELUSIVE DEEJAY (5) losing ground. BLONDE TORI ran outwards at the end of the back straight causing checks to herself, VISUAL ILLUSION and an improving WILL EXCITE who lost ground. ELUSIVE DEEJAY checked off heels into the bend losing a couple of lengths.
Race 15	Speight's Sprint - C3/4 - 295	RUNWAY QUEEN (4) was last to jump. DYNA FRIER (5) and JUST A MATE (7) came together on two occasions in the back straight. Into the bend DYNA FRIER angled outwards taking the line of JUST A MATE who fell. FIREMAN'S SALUTE (6) was badly inconvenienced in this incident. JUST A MATE regained her paws quickly and ran to the lure free of injury.
