Track: Good A big day with 18 races being run and apart from some congestion during kennelling at one stage, the meeting proceeded smoothly and was kept to schedule throughout.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305	ONE EAR POISED and TEPIRITA JAZIL were slow to begin and settled at the rear. INTENSE ZOOM and ANOTHER DRINK collided on the first corner and both lost ground. ONE EAR POISED ran onto the back of INTENSE ZOOM on the home turn and shifted out onto TEPIRITA JAZIL and all three dogs lost several lengths and finished at the rear.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 520	ARNIE BAXTER checked off the heels of TEPIRITA TUITEKA going to the first corner losing ground and he stayed back throughout the race and finished last. BOSTON CHANEL and ANOTHER STONE bumped and lost ground on the first corner. Soon after, HUNTED bumped with CANDY BELLE which shifted out and bumped with TEPIRITA TUITEKA and they lost momentum. BOSTON CHANEL shifted in going into the back straight and checked HUNTED which went back onto ANOTHER STONE with both losing four lengths. BOSTON CHANEL eased in the home straight and turned its head towards the eventual winner BOTANY KEVIN. BOSTON CHANEL was referred to the Vet for assessment and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C0 - C0 - 305	SHEZA WHAT WHAT shifted in going to the first corner and checked HOLD UP HARRY which went back and was galloped on by NOPEE with both dogs losing several lengths. RUTHLESS checked off the heels of SHEZA WHAT WHAT on the bend and fell . HOLD UP HARRY and RUTHLESS were both referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 4	Guthrie Bowron C0 Final - C0f - 520	ROSE BOW shifted in going to the first corner and collided with UNO CHARM with both losing ground and ROSE BOW going back to the rear and she never recovered. BLACK HENNESSY and BIGTIME TIP bumped together going into the first bend and ran a little wide.
Race 5	Gary Ross Decorator C0 - C0 - 305	WHERE'S RICAN shifted in from the start and caused checks to DIXIE QUEEN, HOMEBUSH AWESOME and SECONDS GOOD . SECONDS GOOD then shifted out abruptly and collided with PEP'S POT with both losing ground and settling back.
Race 6	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C0 - C0 - 305	FANTAS FICTION was very slow to begin losing five lengths. BOTANY JESSIE led into the bend but shifted out hampering FOUND ROMAN who was forced wide losing two lengths. GO RUSSEL GO and JUDY IN DISGUISE jostled together going to the first corner and GO RUSSEL GO then shifted out and checked over the heels of HOMEBUSH STING and they both lost ground. SEDGEBROOK GLORY and HOMEBUSH STING jostled together on the home turn went back a couple of places and collided with FANTAS FICTION and they all lost ground and finished in the last three places.
Race 7	Palamountains Nutrition C0 - C0 - 520	SPEEDY KAZZA shifted out from the start and hampered HOMEBUSH ENVY and JIMMY BUFFETT who both lost a little ground. CHASE OSTEE shifted in going into the first corner and checked OKUKU MUPPET which went back and out and bumped with JIMMY BUFFETT with both dogs running wide into the bend. OPAWA GOODIE dropped out to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 8	Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305	BLUE RUSH was slow to begin and settled at the rear. BLUE RUSH went off stride going into the bend and drifted off the back of the field , finishing several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. NUTS FOR SURE was tightened between YEAH NAH and RED HOT DUTCH going into the bend and lost two lengths.
Race 9	Broad Roofing C1 - C1 - 305	GUNNA EXCITE shifted out from the start and hampered MISS FOXY MINX who was shuffled back towards the rear. MISS FOXY MINX then jostled with NICKI HAKA for several strides going to the first corner and they lost momentum. The winner ALAMEIN JAH shifted in over the final stages and checked SARAH'S COOL who's chances of finishing in a closer placing than 3rd may have been affected in the incident. SARAH'S COOL was dragged down from behind at the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520	SAUCY TOMATO shifted out going into the first bend forcing TWIN TIGERS out onto UNO FLASH. SAUCY TOMATO shifted out again going to the back straight and forced TWIN TIGERS, UNO FLASH and BIG GIRL WELSHY wide over extra ground.
Race 11	Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305	All clear.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520	MONKEY QUEEN went up with the box lids losing three lengths. MONKEY QUEEN and ALAMEIN GUS bumped going into the first bend and ALAMEIN GUS shifted out making contact with BELLDEEN with all three losing momentum.
Race 13	Happy Birthday Jack Cooper 16 May - C1 - 305	GINA MAC shifted in going into the bend and crowded TANYBRYN which lost three lengths. OPAWA PRINCE shifted in going into the bend and hampered CAWBOURNE TOBES which then ran wide on the bend covering extra ground.
Race 14	Renown Bakery C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE BREE and ARMISTICE DAY jostled together for several strides on the first bend and ARMISTICE DAY lost two lengths.
Race 15	Morrie Gibbons Signs C2 - C2 - 305	WHERE'S CHICKEN and KEZZ were slow to begin losing two lengths. HILTON FRIDAY was checked on the first corner, went back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder of the race.
Race 16	Box 9 Catering C2 - C2 - 305	SCOTT NO MONEY shifted in going to the first corner and caused checks to HOMEBUSH HAYLEY and CAWBOURNE BROOKE and they lost three lengths. HOMEBUSH HAYLEY recovered to finish in 2nd place. CHELSEAS BABE was in 2nd place approaching the home straight but ran wide which probably affected her chance of a closer placing than 3rd.
Race 21	Non-tote Heat 1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	SYDILICIOUS and BLAIR NINETY were both slow to begin and settled back. SYDILICIOUS recovered and made up ground to finish in 2nd place.
Race 22	Non-tote Heat 2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	HOMEBUSH JULIE shifted in from the start and checked KUROHARA who settled at the rear and stayed there to the finish. STEVIE'S MAGIC shifted in on the bend and checked HOMEBUSH JULIE who lost five lengths.
