| Race 1 | Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457 | BLACK HENNESSY, GIRL PRIDE and THRILLING CLIVE were slow to begin and settled back. BLACK HENNESSY then raced wide over extra ground on the bend and finished in 2nd last place. ARMISTICE DAY and CELESTRIAL MAGIC bumped together going to the first corner and they were unbalanced for a couple of strides. |
| Race 2 | Woodville Sprint C0 - C0 - 375 | I'M A CATCH and KNOW WISDOM bumped together at the start and settled back. KNOW WISDOM was hampered and lost ground going into the first corner when racing between runners and he lost a little ground. DANNY SHEEN made contact with the hind quarters of COSMIC ZOOM in the home straight and they both lost ground in the incident. |
| Race 3 | J P Print Petone C1 - C1 - 375 | KNOW CHARITY and FLYING BLAKE were a little slow to begin and settled back. SHANGHAI SAM shifted out slightly going to the first corner and crowded QUEEN COBRA who was checked and fell and she was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 4 | Manawatu Raceway Stakes C1 - C1 - 457 | OPAWA WALLY went up with the box lids losing several lengths but did make up ground for 4th placing. MISSION DRIVE drew box 7 and was forced to race wide throughout when bumped from the inside by OPEHU TIGER going to the first turn and she finished at the rear. |
| Race 5 | Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C2 - C2 - 375 | CALM RITA was slow to begin losing three lengths. DASHER RUM was checked going into the bend losing four lengths and he then raced a little wide on the bend and finished in last place. |
| Race 6 | Marton Stakes C2 - C2 - 457 | DECEIVER and TIME FRAUD were both slow to begin losing two lengths and they both raced a little wide on the bend. ERIC'S SONG was slightly sore following the race and was referred to the Vet for assessment. |
| Race 7 | Feilding Dash C3 - C3 - 375 | SMIDGED was a little slow to begin and settled back and she then became awkwardly placed behind DECADO and was hampered for a couple of strides. DECADO, JACKSON TOWN and HOMEBUSH ALEX were jostled going into the bend as outside runners shifted in and DECADO and JACKSON TOWN lost two lengths. |
| Race 8 | Foxton Sprint C4 - C4 - 375 | This race was started 1 minute late at the request of T.A.B control. JUKE BOX BOY was handy going to the first corner but bumped with GEORGE BAXTER and eased and went back to be several lengths last and finished in that position. JUKE BOX BOY was referred to the Vet, and a 10 day stand down was imposed due to a pectoral muscle injury. The Stewards were of the opinion that JUKE BOX BOY's performance was not in breach of the non pursuit rule due to the interferance received but ordered that JUKE BOX BOY complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. KNOW THOUGHT was referred to the Vet after being observed to have a webbing injury. |
| Race 9 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C5 - C5 - 457 | The favourite KNOW CLASS was the slowest to begin and settled two lengths last but secured a clear rails run to finish well and win the race. LLAMEDOS , who had been racing over sprint distances lately, led for most of the race but faded badly over the concluding stages and finished in last place. |
| Race 10 | Shannon Dash C5 - C5 - 375 | FINGER POP was slow to begin losing two lengths. BLACK HOMBRE shifted in from the start and crowded COOL IZMIR and WISE CRACK LAD and he continued to shift in and caused checks to COMPLICIT, ZEBIDIAH and WISE CRACK LAD and they lost varying amounts of ground with COMPLICIT being the most affected and he finished in last place. |
| Race 11 | NZRS Final - NZRSf - 457 | BEE RABBIT and ANOTHER BREEZE were handy enough going to the first turn but that were not able to keep up with the pace and drifted to finish in the last two places. BEE RABBIT who finished in last place was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 12 | Happy 80th Birthday Eileen Huntley - C3f - 457 | CHARLIE'S CHOICE was slow to begin and settled at the rear. OSTAPCHUK was hampered going to the first corner when racing between MONTY DOSH and SIR RICHIE and he lost ground. OSTAPCHUK then raced wide on the bend covering extra ground and finished well back. |
