Approaching the first bend OKUKU LILLY (8) veered across the track and collided firstly with JED NORTON (1) and then VISUAL ILLUSION (4) who checked the trailing HOMEBUSH COCO (5) and THEOKOLES (2). Early in the run home HOMEBUSH COCO (5) checked off the heels of OKUKU LILLY (8) onto THEOKOLES (2) who was badly checked. |

SOSAN (6) and CAWBOURNE FLIPPA (7) came together approaching the first bend. KNOW ADVANTAGE (3) and STARBURST JOSH (5) collided on the first bend with STARBURST JOSH (5) losing ground. FIREMAN"S ESCORT (7) and HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (6) bumped rounding the bend. |

Racing into the first bend SMASH AMY (6) and MEMPHIS HOTCAKES (5) came together with BENNY'S ANGEL (4) which was positioned between both dogs being checked. |
