| Race 1 | Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457 | MATISSE was a little slow to begin and then shifted out going into the bend forcing MIGHTY BAXTER and OPAWA ROYAL very wide. OPAWA ROYAL shifted in going to the first corner and checked JUST LIKE PRINCE which lost four lengths. JUST LIKE PRINCE and MIGHTY BAXTER then came together on the bend losing further ground and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 2 | Woodville Sprint C1 - C1 - 375 | BIZARRO was slow to begin losing two lengths. REBEL JOE shifted in sharply from the start and dictated THATS KING in several widths and he settled back. THATS KING then shifted out going into the corner, bumped with BIZARRO which was hampered and forced wide into the bend. |
| Race 3 | J P Print, Petone C2 - C2 - 375 | ASHER shifted out soon after the start and this resulted in jostling to ARMOUR, KEZZ and JIMMY JURANTE with ARMOUR being the most affected and he almost fell losing all chance and the other runners involved also losing ground. |
| Race 4 | NZRS Heat 1 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1 | KNOW CLASS was a little slow to begin but made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. SAMMY JAMES was awkwardly placed between RODRIGUEZ and NOT A KNOW on the bend and lost two lengths. |
| Race 5 | NZRS Heat 2 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2 | MICK MANIA shifted out from the start and then shifted back in which resulted in jostling for some distance between MICK MANIA, THRILLING ELLA and OPAWA NO EAR with all three dogs losing several lengths. THRILLING ELLA recovered the best of the three affected runners and she finished in 3rd place. |
| Race 6 | NZRS Heat 3 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 3 | STOLEN MONEY shifted out going to the first corner and hampered SPACE RACE who lost two lengths. STOLEN MONEY shifted out across the heels of ADMIRE approaching the home turn and lost ground. Soon after, KNOW CHAOS shifted out and cannoned into STOLEN MONEY who was severely hampered in the incident, never recovered and finished in last place. |
| Race 7 | NZRS Heat 4 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 4 | GO HOUSIE and THRILLING BLITZ came together and bumped in the home straight and both lost momentum for a couple of strides. |
| Race 8 | Manawatu Raceway Sprint C4 - C4 - 375 | EVER SO HOPEFUL and GEM'S CONQUEST began awkwardly losing three lengths. JUKE BOX BOY and STARLA bumped together going into the bend and they both lost ground and stayed back to finish at the rear. |

Following this race, TEPIRITA RITA was found to be in oestrus and a 28 day stand down was imposed. |

OPAWA MIDNIGHT checked over the heels of MISSING MELODY and ran wide into the home straight. KANGO KLINK was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request . |
