After jumping quickly to lead over the early stages WHERE'S ROBYN ( 6 ) began yielding ground rounding the bend and finished well back. |
| Race 2 | Islington Tavern Stakes - C3 - 520 | Over the early stages ANOTHER STAR ( 6 ) shifted inwards while MAXIMUM JEWEL ( 1 ) was inclined to shift up the track resulting in DYNA DIEGO ( 2 ), TAKE A TRICK ( 3 ), and THRILLING JONAH ( 4 ) all suffering varying degrees of interference. MAXIMUM JEWEL ( 1 ) lost momentum in this incident and dropped to the rear. Racing into the first bend OPAWA CASPER ( 5 ) checked outwards off the heels of THRILLING JONAH ( 4 ) and made contact with DYNA DIEGO ( 2 ). DYNA DIEGO ( 2 ) and TAKE A TRICK ( 3 ) collided when racing towards the rear of the field early in the run home. |

MY LITTLE OAH ( 8 ) checked off the heels of WANDY CHICK ( 7 ) on the first bend with both dogs losing ground. JINGARANGO ( 1 ) checked off the heels of KNOW CLASS ( 6 ) turning into the back straight. JINGARANGO ( 1 ) then checked off the heels of MAGIC LASS ( 2 ) leaving the final bend and collided with NOT A KNOW ( 4 ). |
| Race 5 | Hurunui Hotel Sprint - C5 - 295 | HOMEBUSH SARGE ( 9 ) looked keen to find the rails soon after the start and collided with GO HOUSIE ( 7 ) who was forced down onto ELKI ( 6 ) and HOT MANGO ( 5 ). HOMEBUSH SARGE ( 9 ) continued to shift down the track approaching the first bend checking WANDY PAUL ( 4 ) and KNOW THOUGHT ( 2 ). ELKI checked off the heels of WANDY PAUL (4 ) shortly after. GO HOUSIE ( 7 ) and KNOW THOUGHT ( 2 ) bumped rounding the bend. |
| Race 6 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro N.Z. Oaks Heat - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1 | PINK BOUQUET ( 6 ) checked off the heels of CAWBOURNE RENEE ( 2 ) approaching the first bend and lost ground. Shortly after PINK BOUQUET ( 6 ) was squeezed between INDI RHODE ( 5 ) and PINDARI ( 7 ) and again lost momentum. Turning into the back straight PINK BOUQUET ( 6 ) checked off the heels of PINDARI ( 7 ). Turning out of the back straight JINJA POP ( 1 ) shifted inwards and tightened HOMEBUSH VIOLET ( 3 ) which lost ground . INDI RHODE ( 5 ) and PINDARI ( 7 ) bumped on the final bend. HOMEBUSH VIOLET ( 3 ) was held up for clear racing room over the concluding stages. Following the race SMASH AMY was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 7 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro N.Z. Oaks Heat - R/Aq - 520 Heat 2 | KIWI GIRL ( 3 ) ran outwards over the early stages. On the first bend INDI'S GRACE ( 6 ) checked off the heels of MICK AND PADDY ( 4 ) after MICK AND PADDY ( 4 ) and BROOKLYN HOPE ( 8 ) came together. Turning into the back straight BROOKLYN HOPE ( 8 ) bounced off the rail and severely checked the trailing INDI'S GRACE ( 6 ) and THRILLING DAZE ( 7 ). KIWI GIRL ( 3 ) again ran outwards in the run home. |
| Race 8 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro N.Z. Oaks Heat - R/Aq - 520 Heat 3 | KIKI RHODE ( 2 ) was checked racing into the first bend by MOULIN BLUE ( 3 ) who received tightening from outside runners. Down the back straight MOULIN BLUE ( 3 ) shifted outwards in search of clear running and made contact with STARBURST BLANCH ( 6 ). At the end of the back straight POPSTAR ROCKET ( 5 ) shifted inwards when improving to the lead and squeezed CAWBOURNE REEAH ( 1 ) which lost momentum. HELLO ELLO ( 8 ) which was improving quickly along the rail was severely checked as a result of CAWBOURNE REEAH ( 1 ) losing ground and shifted outwards abruptly checking the trailing MOULIN BLUE ( 3 ), STARBURST BLANCH ( 6 ) and KIKI RHODE ( 2 ). NEWTON WILLOW ( 7 ) checked off the heels of KIKI RHODE ( 2 ) early in the run home. |
| Race 9 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro N.Z. Oaks Heat - R/Aq - 520 Heat 4 | JINJA POWER ( 4 ) and STARBURST CLEMMY ( 6 ) bumped racing into the first bend. SAHARA STORM ( 7 ) ran wide on the first bend after checking off the heels of OLYMPIC MEDAL ( 8 ). JUST A MATE ( 1 ) and STARBURST CLEMMY ( 6 ) began yielding ground on the final bend with both dogs finishing well back. |

ZEBIDIAH ( 4 ) and KNOW ESCAPE ( 1 ) made contact along the back straight. ZEBIDIAH ( 4 ) bounced off the rail turning out of the back straight. Racing into the first bend BUTTERBEAN ( 6 ) shifted down the track when not clear of EXCUSE PLEASE ( 3 ) resulting in ADINI ( 5 ) and NIPPA MARY ( 8 ) being checked while KNOW ADVANTAGE ( 7 ) was forced wide on the track. Shortly after BUTTERBEAN ( 6 ) and GITCHA EASY ( 2 ) bumped with BUTTERBEAN ( 6 ) losing momentum and checking the trailing KNOW ESCAPE ( 1 ). |
