YAPSTER JEWEL and an improving GO BRIDIE both checked off the back of NEW INGILLTAB into the bend with this pair dropping to the rear. NEW INGILLTAB and LIQUORICE WHIP came together on the home turn when well back. |

ANYTIME WILL DO ran inwards at the start checking RINGA DING on his inside. Into the bend RINGA DING and THRILLING CLOVER collided and lost ground. |

| Race 9 | St Kilda Vet Stakes - C1/2 - 545 | CAWBOURNE PHILIP ran outwards in the initial stages causing checks to AUTUMN SPIRIT, OPAWA PEEKAY, OPULENT and CALM SPIRIT all of whom lost ground. KNOW HONOUR received a check on the home turn when racing to the inside of OPAWA BOMB who had shifted inwards marginally. Wider out AUTUMN SPIRIT ran very wide pushing his brother CALM SPIRIT over extra ground. |

| Race 11 | Speedprint Shop Sprint - C3 - 310 | ANOTHER JEWEL and HOUSTON were slow from the traps. Into the bend HILTON FRIDAY shifted up the track marginally checking ELUSIVE DEEJAY and BLICKLING BRIDGE who both took heavy tumbles but regained their paws and completed the race. HOUSTON faltered on the home turn and dropped out. ELUSIVE DEEJAY, BLICKLING BRIDGE and HOUSTON were all referred to the vet for assessment. Trainer John McInerney advised Stewards that HOUSTON would now be retired for breeding purposes. |
