| Race 1 | Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint - C2 - 318 | TESS' BOY and MR. MAJESTIC were last from the traps. ILA GLADYS angled outwards in the back straight and this combined with SPITFIRE OSTI running inwards ensured that BEARLY POSSIBLE and LACHLAN VALLEY both received significant tightening. BIGTIME DRIFTER was checked from behind into the bend and lost ground with BEARLY POSSIBLE falling at this stage. She regained her paws and ran strongly into the lure. TESS' BOY was badly hampered in this incident. On the home turn ILA GLADYS checked outwards off the heels of LACHLAN VALLEY and lost a length. Following the race ILA GLADYS and BEARLY POSSIBLE were referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 2 | Auckland Vending Sprint - C0 - 318 | ASIA OSTEE weighed in 2.1 kgs under her last race weight six months ago with Trainer Michelle Mann advising that it was the bitch's first start for her and that the weight decrease was planned. KITTY'S HOUSE and HELL FIRE were slowest from the traps. SOUTH BAY DREAM ran inwards in the early stages tightening KITTY'S HOUSE and TARAPUNGA on his inside. SKYHIGH LEVI angled outwards in the back straight causing checks to TARAPUNGA and SOUTH BAY DREAM who lost ground. HELL FIRE and KITTY'S HOUSE came together into the bend with KITTY'S HOUSE losing her position. |
| Race 3 | Reel-Fishin.com Sprint - C1 - 318 | SYDILICIOUS was a clear last from the inside trap. BIT ROSO ran inwards in the early stages causing MAJOR TOM, TIME TO FIND and TIGER TESS all to be checked and lose ground on his inside. SYDILICIOUS was held up into the bend when attempting to improve along the rail. |
| Race 4 | Carol's TABs Stakes - C0 - 527 | The favourite GAINSFORD was trapped wide into the first bend. GO CARTER GO faltered into the back straight and dropped right out with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 5 | The Brownzy Sports Bar Sprint - C4 - 318 | CHERRY TREE LANE was very slow from the inside with kennelmates FAMILY'S PRIDE and OPAWA SACHA also settling well back. CORPORAL JONES drifted off the bunch into the bend and finished a clear last with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 6 | Greyhounds North Maiden Distance - C0d - 603 | TENTENS was a clear last on jumping but made ground solidly throughout the race to dead-heat for third. CRAFTY GRAHAM was tightened for a stride on the home turn as TENTENS angled inwards when passing him. |
| Race 7 | $20,000 Pick6 Sprint - C3 - 318 | AGENT VAN ALDEN and SAMSON DASH were last on settling. SHALF angled outwards pushing BIGTIME BENDER wider into the bend while wider out AGENT VAN ALDEN also shifted up the track causing SAMSON DASH to be pushed wide. DON'T KNOW ran outwards on the bend checking BIGTIME BENDER and STAT ME UP. At the entrance to the home straight AGENT VAN ALDEN continued his outwards movement with DON'T KNOW being hampered. |
| Race 8 | Trophies Plus Stakes - C1 - 527 | THRILLING NINJA ran inwards on the first bend checking MR. LOCHLYN who lost ground and ducked outwards hitting the hindquarters of BUBBLE OSTEE who lost momentum. THRILLING NINJA then checked off the back of CLOVER APPEAL on that bend. In the back straight THRILLING NINJA checked off the heels of CLOVER APPEAL losing a length with FUTURE PROOF being hampered for a stride. |
| Race 9 | Clendon Inn Stakes - C2/3 - 527 | DELUSIVE was a clear last from the outside trap. LOCKEY'S CALL angled down the track in the early stages tightening STAR BOUND who lost ground. On the first bend NEWTON WILLOW ran outwards after coming together with LOCKEY'S CALL with WINSOME FLASH, SHARK BITE and LIL' MISS KRUNCH all receiving slight checks to their outside. DELUSIVE was forced wide at this stage. |
| Race 10 | Aircare Pet Services Sprint - C5 - 318 | QUICK CAT angled outwards in the initial stages checking BLACK HOMBRE who lost ground. HAUKO then ran outwards checking KIWI GIRL who dropped to the rear. |
| Race 11 | Plaster Board LTD Stakes - C4 - 527 | CARUBA QUEEN ran very wide on the home turn losing ground and her winning chance. Following the race EL JARRAH was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 12 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C5 - 318 | WINSOME BUSTER was last to jump. ELLY'S GIRL ran inwards in the initial stages checking HARVEY NICHOLS for a stride. Into the bend the pacemaking SNICKO angled outwards checking ELLY'S GIRL with KISSIN KATE and LADAKH being forced wide. COTSWALD PRINCE who was improving in behind these runners also had to check wide losing ground and momentum. |
