| Race 1 | Absolutely Electrical C2/3 - C2/3 - 305 | FIRE BOY BAXTER, YALDHURST EDWARD, GEM'S CONQUEST and KINETIC NEO were slow to begin and they settled at the rear. EMMA MARIE led going into the bend but shifted in and checked RIBA LORDA who lost four lengths in the incident. ANOTHER BLEND was handy going to the first corner but drifted back through the field and finished five lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C2/3 - C2/3 - 305 | TRINITY BOY was slow to begin and settled back. TRINITY BOY and CAWBOURNE FLICK were both checked and lost ground going into the bend and AUSSIE HAKA also lost a little ground at the same point . |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C2/3 - C2/3 - 305 | HOMEBUSH HAYLEY and WHAT A PEANUT were slow to begin and settled at the rear. HOMEBUSH HAYLEY was checked going into the bend losing four lengths and she stayed back for the remainder of the race. |

JUST MAC shifted in going into the first bend and may have brushed against the rail but did not lose momentum . SHODSIE checked over the heels of JUST MAC at that point and shifted out hampering JAG YOU ARE and they both lost ground. |
| Race 5 | Gary Ross Decorator C4 Ht1 - C4q - 305 Heat 1 | KINETIC RIO and EXCESSIVE SPEED were slow to begin and settled back. RUN STACEY RUN was handy approaching the home turn but may have been checked as HYPOTENTIAL improved on the outside and RUN STACEY RUN lost three lengths. |
| Race 6 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C4 Ht2 - C4q - 305 Heat 2 | HOMEBUSH BORIS and HEY YOU were slow to begin and settled back. EVER SO HOPEFUL was awkwardly placed behind GEORGE BAXTER going into the bend and was observed to falter slightly and dropped back to last and finished in that position. EVER SO HOPEFUL was referred to the Vet for assessment as a precautionary measure. |
| Race 7 | Palamountains Nutrition C4 Ht3 - C4q - 305 Heat 3 | FINGER POP was the slowest to begin but made up ground to win with ease. RUN JUNIOR RUN shifted out going to the first turn and DONKEY DEEP shifted in and this resulted in checks to themselves and also SOSAN and CAWBOURNE STEFFI who were racing between them. SPEEDY LEESHELLE was following and was also hampered in the incident. MEGA RUSH led going into the bend but faltered free of interferance and quickly went back through the field and pulled up in the home straight. MEGA RUSH was referred to the Vet for assessment |
| Race 8 | Wanganui Security C5 - C5 - 305 | LEADFOOT LENNY and CALL ME RALPH collided soon after the start and became unbalanced for several strides. CIAO FOR NOW shifted in from the start and hampered TIZ NOW, ANOTHER HIT and FREDDIE BAXTER for a short distance. BLUE JEAN ALICE shifted in and hampered CIAO FOR NOW who lost a little ground going into the bend. |
| Race 9 | Mickey's Super Liquor C4 Final - C4f - 520 | CAWBOURNE TILLY shifted in from the start and bumped with KAZILLION and ZAMDATO and they all lost ground and settled at the rear. ZAMDATO recovered the best of the three affected runners and he made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | SEVEN IRON shifted out from the start and caused jostling to COOL IZMIR and THRILLING CAIRO and soon after, ATE TO MUCH shifted in and caused checks to THRILLING CAIRO, COOL IZMIR and SEVEN IRON and they settled at the rear and stayed well back. CORTECCIA checked off the heels of ATE TO MUCH going into the first bend and dropped back causing a check to THRILLING CAIRO and they both lost ground and finished in the rear group. |
| Race 11 | Broad Roofing C5 - C5 - 305 | DARLEK KHAN shifted out going into the first turn and checked RAMRADA and VICKI'S QUEST and all three ran wide and lost ground. ATE PIZZA and COOL CHARMER shared the lead on the bend but collided and both lost momentum for a couple of strides. MOTHERLEE then galloped on the back of COOL CHARMER which lost four lengths and never recovered, finishing in 7th place. IMA SPICE shifted in down the home straight and bumped HOMEBUSH DOMINO who was unbalanced and lost momentum. |
| Race 12 | The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305 | GURU GOOSE was slow to begin and settled back and he was then checked going into the bend losing several lengths and finished in 2nd last place. STIFF shifted in from the start and caused jostling to WATERBUG, ROSEMORE OSTI and HOWLIN WIND for a few strides. FLYING FLYNN and WATERBUG jostled together for some distance in the run to the bend and both lost ground as a result. |
