Track: Good The track was very well presented and with all equipment working well, the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Licence Holders Ms A Speight and Ms K Gommans were both issued with warnings in relation to their use of offensive language after the Stewards had received complaints and they were advised that there will be no leniency from the Stewards in future if there is a repeat of that type of behaviour.

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	COSMIC ZOOM and AMY WINEGLASS were slow to begin. AMY WINEGLASS recovered well to loop the field and won with ease while COSMIC ZOOM was checked several times in the running and finished in last place. FLIRT ACADEMY shifted in from the start and checked GREEN TREATS and PAW NO MORE which both lost ground. COSMIC ZOOM and PAW NO MORE were both checked and again lost ground on the bend and they finished in the last two places. FASTBACK KING drew box 1 and was inclined to bore out from the rail and jostled with other runners on the bend.
Race 2	Woodville Sprint C1 - C1 - 375	MISS FOXY MINX began a little awkwardly and was then bumped when SEONG DUK shifted in and lost ground. THATS KING shifted in going into the bend and hampered MISS FOXY MINX who went back and was checked from behind and dragged down losing several lengths and she finished last. MISS FOXY MINX was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 3	J P Print Petone C1 - C1 - 375	IZZY DAGG shifted in from the start and caused a chain reaction of jostling involving MOTOR MOUTH, GUS THE MUSS, SAND BUSTER, CAWBOURNE BROOKE and SEDGEBROOK SKITE and they all lost varying amounts of ground. SEDGEBROOK SKITE and CAWBOURNE BROOKE bumped together going into the bend and they lost three lengths. MAC TAN shifted out on the bend and checked IZZY DAGG who lost two lengths. IZZY DAGG was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 4	Manawatu Raceway C1/2 - C1/2 - 457	OPAWA STU was slow to begin and OSTAPCHUK was also a little slow away. OSTAPCHUK then made contact with OPAWA CHANCE going into the bend and lost a little momentum but ran on well from there to win the race. OPAWA CHANCE was turned sideways in the incident and drifted to the rear and stayed there to the finish.
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C2 Final - C2f - 375	OPAWA CHARLIE galloped on the back of THRILLING HALO going into the bend and they lost several lengths and all chance. JIMMY JURANTE checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH ALEX on the bend and they both lost ground.
Race 6	Cloverlea Dash C1/2 - C1/2 - 375	BIMBOO was tightened and checked going to the first corner and lost several lengths and all chance. YOUR ON FIRE made contact with the rail on the bend and again in the home straight and dropped back to finish in last place and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 7	Feilding Sprint C3 - C3 - 375	SURF QUAKE was slow to begin losing three lengths. GLENADDIS BOY was handy going to the first corner but was checked twice on the bend and went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 8	Marton Stakes C3 - C3 - 457	All clear.
Race 9	www.racingdogs.co.nz C4 - C4 - 375	HEY YOU, BIGTIME JET, TIME'S UP and KAZILLION were slow to begin losing two lengths. CHELSEAS BEAUTY was checked back to the rear on the bend when BIGTIME JET improved through on the inside and CHELSEAS BEAUTY never recovered and finished in last place.
Race 10	Shannon Dash C5 - C5 - 375	WISE CRACK LAD and TIZ NOW were slow to begin losing two lengths. WISE CRACK LAD raced wide on the track throughout covering extra ground and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 11	Foxton Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	HEROISM was slow to begin losing three lengths. JUST MAC was momentarily hampered going to the first corner when WANDY KYLE shifted out slightly.
Race 12	Bulls Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	RETALIATE FIRST began awkwardly and lost five lengths and all chance.
