Track: Good The track was presented well groomed and in an excellent racing conditon through out the meeting which was run in very hot an dry conditions All other equipment funtioned well through out the programe

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	From the boxes ERUZA ran outwards with TARAPUNGA catching his heels SYDENHAM OPAL and ONE WAY PAEROA came together FLYING BLAKE was checked back as he crossed catching heels Racing in to the first bend ONE WAY PAEROA came out inside FLYING BLAKE forcing this runner wide on to the bend ahead of these runners TARAPUNGA ran wide on to and around the bend covering a fair amount of extra ground TARAPUNGA crossed in towards the rail in the home staright finishing strongly for 3rd placing at the line
Race 2	Woodville Sprint C1 - C1 - 375	THRILLING SQUEAL was the early leader she moved out to the centre of the track shortly before the home turn going back a length or so she ran a bit wider in to the home straightand was hampered as GOT VALUE raced past and ran inwards taking her line THRILLING SQUEAL weakened there after finishing towards the rear THRILLING SQUEAL was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found MISSY MACABRE was last away and never improved there after dropping back several lengths in the run home MISSY MACARBE was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found The connections of MISSY MACABRE were spoken to regarding the dogs poor performance today and the Stewards will be expecting an improved run ather next start
Race 3	J P Print Petone C1 Final - C1f - 375	RAVEON was away well in the early stages he crossed off heels in to the first turn racing wide around the top bend and widest in to the home straight covering a fair amount of extra ground finishing towards the rear at the line
Race 4	Manawatu Raceway Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	Soon after the start MAJMA came across on to COVER TO COVER forcing him back on to heels COVER TO COVER then crossed towards the rail and was checked back again as the inside runners tightened further on in to the first turn COVER TO COVER crossed to the rail forcing OPAWA STU back off heels OPAWA STU lost a length or so but recovered well to come back from midfield to run down SECRET NADIA close to the line EUNUCHS LUCK ( fav was handy to the home turn wider out was then observed to be uncomfortable in his galloping action on the home turn only battling in the run home finishing in the rear group EUNUCHS LUCK was referred to the vet for assessment
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C2 Ht1 - C2q - 375 Heat 1	Racing in to the first turn BILLY HAKA raced across on to BIGTIME YAHOO pushing this runner over on to MISS FOLEY and THRILLING HALO these three runners were checked back a couple of lengths also was BILLY HAKA as RED CRYSTAL raced past cutting in over to the rail THRILLING HALO recovered to come from midfield to run in to 3rd placing at the line with the first two runners being well clear of the rest of the field
Race 6	Cloverlea Dash C2 Ht2 - C2q - 375 Heat 2	As the field left the boxes CRYSTAL WAVE ran in to OPAWA CHARLIE racing in to the first turn CRYSTAL WAVE crossed towards the rail causing OPAWA CHARLIE to be badly checked go back a couple of lengths with FEARSOME MCKAY pushing up on his inner forcing OPAWA CHARLIE wide on to the bend OPAWA CHARLIE was the widest in to the home straight he made enormous ground up in the run home to finish in 2nd placing at the line
Race 7	Feilding Dash C3 - C3 - 375	In the run in to the first turn FIRE BOY BAXTER came across on to UNO ALLEGRO ( fav ) hampering this runner for several strides UNO ALLEGRO when clear only battled there after finishing in 4th placing at the line wider out racing in to the first turn HOMEBUSH HELL'S came across on to the hindquarters of REAL CLEAVER who stumbled going down on his nose with HOMEBUSH HELL'S running in to him and both dogs fell REAL CLEAVER recovered his footing to finish on to the lure REAL CLEAVER was referred to the vet for assessment HOMEBUSH HELL'S recovered his footing to run down the straight wheer he was caught and referred to the vet for assessment
Race 8	Marton Sprint C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	ANOTHER RAEWYN was a late scratching at kennelling on vets advice when found to have pectoral muscle injury As the field turned for home CALL ME RALPH had started a run wider out and was checked as TRENDY KNOCKERS ran out onto his shoulder CALL ME RALPH rebalanced himself and ran on well for 4th placing at the line
Race 9	www.racingdogs.co.nz C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	Shortly after the start THRILLING BUDDY and TIZ NOW were tightened going back a couple of lengths with TIZ NOW catching heels and stumbling losing 4 or so lengths to the rear TIZ NOW attempted tpo make ground there after finishing towards midfield at the line
Race 10	Shannon Dash C4 - C4 - 375	Soon after the start there was crowding as IONA HAKA came across from the wide box forcing UNO LACHLAN over on to LITTLE BLACKSPOT and CAWBOURNE HEIDI LITTLE BLACKSPOT went back to midfield going back on to GO FERN GO who went back a couple of lengths GO FERN GO attempted a run wide across the top bend rcovering a lot of ground running in to CAWBOURNE HEIDI as they straightened for the run home GO FERN GO finshed in 5th placing at the line
Race 11	Foxton Stakes C3 - C3 - 457	CAWBOURNE TILLY was slow away by a couple of lengths Racing in to the first turn REGAL DANCER caught a heel of OPAWA MIDNIGHT losing ground back to the midfield SHARKIE'S DREAM was handy in the early rush was tightened on the rail on the bend going back through the field towards the rear finishing last at the line
