| Race 1 | Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305 | UNO GREEN and SECTIONED were a little slow to begin and SECTIONED then shifted out and hampered UNO GREEN who lost two lengths. SECTIONED shifted out again on the first corner and checked CIRCLE OF LIFE who lost ground. CIRCLE OF LIFE galloped on the back of MADDIE BRAND on the bend and they both lost three lengths and finished at the rear. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305 | MIC PLAYER shifted in from the start and jostled CUTS DEEP and soon after WHERE'S RICAN also shifted in causing jostling to CUT'S DEEP and SPEEDY FEET and CUTS DEEP stumbled and lost four lengths in the incident. WHERE'S RICAN shifted in going into the bend and checked KNOCKA OFF TIME who lost two lengths. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron Final - C0f - 305 | JUST A BOY and SYDENHAM OPAL were slow to begin losing two lengths. GOT VALUE shifted out on the home turn and forced JUST A BOY wide into the straight and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 4 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C0 Ht1 - C0q - 520 Heat 1 | GUCCI RUSH was a little slow to begin and was then hampered soon after when PUPPET MASTER shifted in. PUPPET MASTER was checked going into the first corner when colliding with AMY WINEGLASS and PUPPET MASTER fell heavily and took no further part in the face. PUPPET MASTER was referred to the Vet for assessment. ALAMEIN GUS and KYLIE'S BELLE collided going into the first bend and both lost a little ground. |
| Race 5 | Gary Ross Decorator C0 Ht 2 - C0q - 520 Heat 2 | HUNTED, VERSATILE RICHIE and BILLY HOLMES were slow to begin losing two lengths. OPAWA GOODIE shifted out going to the first corner and shortened stride and was struck from behind by VERSATILE RICHIE and BILLY HOLMES. OPAWA GOODIE then dropped back to be several lengths last and stayed there for the remainder of the race and was referred to the Vet for assessment and was cleared of injury. |
| Race 6 | J P Print Petone C1 - C1 - 305 | DOING THE TIME, SAUCY TOMATO and CAWBOURNE BROOKE were all checked losing three lengths going into the bend and they stayed back to finish in the last three places. |
| Race 7 | Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305 | EASY SILENCE shifted in from the start and forced MRS BOUQUET onto BOND ECLIPSE and they both settled back. EASY SILENCE checked off the back of SEONG DUK going into the bend and lost ground. MRS BOUQUET raced wide covering extra ground on the bend. |
| Race 8 | Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 520 | DARBY LANE was checked losing three lengths when entering the back straight. MONKEY QUEEN began to drift from midfield in the back straight and she finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 9 | Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305 | SYDILICIOUS was slow to begin losing three lengths. JAMES ARTHUR checked off the heels of ALAMEIN RIP going into the first bend and lost two lengths. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520 | JUST MAC shifted in going to the first corner and bumped with UNO ORANGE and lost ground. JUST MAC was held up behind UNO ORANGE for some distance on the final bend and then bumped with that runner when moving through on the inside. |
| Race 11 | Broad Roofing C1 - C1 - 305 | SEDGEBROOK LAD and HOMEBUSH COLT were slow to begin losing two lengths. OPAWA CRUSHER shifted in on the first corner and checked GUNNA EXCITE who went back to near the rear. Soon after, WORKING WAIKATO was checked, went back onto HOMEBUSH COLT and they both lost four lengths and finished at the rear. |
| Race 12 | The Rock 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305 | HOMEBUSH SUE was slow to begin losing three lengths. ALL IN ALL was handy adjacent to the rail but was shuffled back going to the first corner . He did make up some ground for 4th placing. |
