| Race 1 | Absolutely Electrical C1 - C1 - 305 | WHERE'S CHICKEN, SARAH'S COOL and OPAWA CHANCE were slow to begin. WHERE'S CHICKEN made up ground well to win the race with the other two finishing in the rear group. SEONG DUK and KEZZ bumped together soon after the start and lost a little momentum. CAWBOURNE TINA shifted out on the bend and bumped with SARAH'S COOL and they both lost two lengths. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C2 - C2 - 305 | TALK IT OVER was slow to begin losing four lengths and he then checked off the heels of STEVIE'S MAGIC on the first corner losing further ground but recovered to finish in 3rd place. CAWBOURNE TOBES checked off the back of BELFAST GLENDA and they both lost ground on the bend. |
| Race 3 | Guthrie Bowron C2 - C2 - 305 | SYDENHAM BUBBLES was a little slow to begin but made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. OPAWA CHARLIE and SCOTT NO MONEY jostled together for some distance after leaving the boxes and OPAWA CHARLIE suffered the most and went back to last but recovered to finish in 4th place. THRILLING PIPPI was checked going into the bend and went back onto SCOTT NO MONEY and they went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish. |
| Race 4 | J P Print Petone C1/2 - C1/2 - 520 | GO BOOF was the slowest to begin and settled at the rear and stayed back threoughout to finish last. Two of the better supported runners BIGTIME LATTE and THRILLING AVA both drew wide in boxes 6 and 7 and were forced to race reasonably wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in the rear group. |
| Race 5 | Gary Ross Decorator C3 Ht1 - C3q - 305 Heat 1 | MORNING LIGHT and WHAT A PEANUT bumped together when the start was made and they settled back and stasyed there throughout. HEY YOU shifted out in the run to the first corner and hampered CAWBOURNE EMO for several strides and she lost three lengths in the incident. CAWBOURNE EMO dropped back onto MORNING LIGHT who was checked losing two lengths and MORNING LIGHT then shifted out on the home turn and collided with WHAT A PEANUT and they both lost momentum. |
| Race 6 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C3 Ht2 - C3q - 305 Heat 2 | RUN JUNIOR RUN was slow to begin losing three lengths and he then raced very wide on the track covering considerable extra ground and finished in last place. MR REECE and YALDHURST EDWARD shifted in from the start and hampered SCOTT ME GOING . MR REECE continued to shift in and eventually caused checks to SCOTT ME GOING and YALDHURST EDWARD and they both lost three lengths. |
| Race 7 | Palamountains Nutrition C3/4 - C3/4 - 520 | THRILLING CAIRO shifted in from the start and caused checks to TEPIRITA RITA, ANOTHER COURSE, BIGTIME KAREN and EL JETTA who all lost ground and settled back. BIGTIME KAREN and TEPIRITA RITA came together and bumped entering the back straight losing several lengths and they stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 8 | Wanganui Security C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | Jostling in the early stages resulted in WEE DIGER, ANOTHER RAEWYN and ENFLAME settling at the rear. CALL ME RALPH shifted out going into the bend and collided with IMA SPICE with both dogs losing several lengths. LOUIE MACHALL was in 2nd place going into the bend but then drifted back through the field and finished in last place. His galloping action appeared to be a little awkward on the bend and he was referred to the Vet for assessment. |
| Race 9 | Broad Roofing C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | ENAZUMA shifted in from the start and hampered CHEETAH WOODS and soon after DARLEK KHAN shifted out and hampered SLANGEVAR for a couple of strides. SLANGEVAR then shifted in and checked CHEETAH WOODS who lost ground and stayed back to finish in last place. DARLEK KHAN shifted out on the bend and bumped with COOL CHARMER who then began to drift back and finished towards the rear and she was referred to the Vet for assessment. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C4 Final - C4f - 520 | RETALIATE FIRST settled at the rear and then drifted to be a long last down the back straight but did make up some ground at the finish but was still several lengths last. He was referred to the Vet for assessment as a precaution. BACKYARD BULLY was going forward outside the leader entering the final bend but then appeared to be checked losing four lengths and he finished in 6th place. |
| Race 11 | Mickey's Super Liquor C4 - C4 - 305 | One of the favourites DONKEY DEEP was slow to begin losing three lengths and she lost further ground when racing onto the heels of CAWBOURNE STEFFI going into the bend and they both lost ground and finished at the rear. |
