Track: Good The meeting was run in hot weather again today the track was well presented with all other equipment working well through out the programe The club Staff can be commended for keeping the track in good order through out the meeting
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Trainers Freeman/Turnwald were fined $100 minor infringment rule when ATE TO MUCH weighed 1.8 kgs over from his last start on the 17-2-2013

Race 1	Auckland Vending Sprint - C2 - 318	Soon after the start KIOWA WHIZ ran outwards through the field to the centre of the track as the field raced in to the first turn KIOWA WHIZ ran out on to LACE THEM UP jostling and forcing this runner wide on to the top bend LACE THEM UP was widest in to the home straight finishing towards the rear at the line WOLF MARINE was referred to the vet at the request of the Trainer where no abnormalities were found
Race 2	www.agrc.co.nz Sprint - C3 - 318	In the run to the first turn MAGIC YOU chasing the leader was checked and hampered for a few strides as MY GIRL COOKIE came across on to her forcing her over losing a length or so in behind NATHAN'S CHAMP came out on to CARUBA KING as BE DELICIOUS cut in from wider out resulting in NATHAN'S CHAMP running on to the back of BE DELICIOUS all these runners lost ground filling the last three placings at the line
Race 3	Reel-Fishin.com Sprint - C4 - 318	In the run in to the first turn CALAMITY FREE raced across on to the shoulder of MATRIX hampering this runner for a couple of strides MATRIX was able to recover quickly to keep his position in the lead SHARI JEWEL in behind these runners was forced to check back off the heels of MATRIX going back a length or couple of lengths then changed ground outwards and was hampered as AGENT VICTOR crossed to the rail SHARI JEWEL checked outwards across the heels of AGENT VICTOR going back towards the rear
Race 4	Plaster Board LTD Railway Sprint Semi-Final Heat 1 - C5q - 318 Heat 1	KNOW ADVANTAGE and RIPPED JEANS were the slowest away KNOW ADVANTAGE was soon in to stride looped the field to carry on for a strong win As the field entered the home straight RIPPED JEANS ran on to the back of COTSWALD PRINCE losing a length or so finishing not far away in 5th placing at the line
Race 5	Plaster Board LTD Railway Sprint Semi-Final Heat 2 - C5q - 318 Heat 2	PROVEN SHELLY was awkwardly away almost spreading herself as they came off the mat soon after she was checked as COMPLICIT raced across knocking ANOTHER GON over on to PROVEN SHELLYwho went back to the rear racing wide across the top bend finishing in the rear at the line PROVEN SHELLY was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
Race 6	Plaster Board LTD Railway Sprint Semi-Final Heat 3 - C5q - 318 Heat 3	ZEBIDIAH was hampered soon after the start for a stride or so Soon after racing to the first turn ZEBIDIAH was tightened as ATE POWER came across with DRYSDALE coming out on to his shoulder ZEBIDIAH was hampered for a couple stride being unbalanced losing several lengths he ran on for 3rd placing at the line DRYSDALE came out on to ATE POWER racing in to the bend with both runners running wide
Race 7	Plaster Board LTD Railway Sprint Semi-Final Heat 4 - C5q - 318 Heat 4	In the run to the first turn there was tightning and jostling in the midfield as TIZ NOW came across on to the shoulder of RAMRADA who ran in to LOCHINVAR YASI both these runners lost ground back to the rear PEARL'S BOY raced out in the centre of the track in to the bend finishing strongly for 3rd placing at the line
Race 8	Happy Birthday Fred Herbert Stakes - C4 - 527	From the jump LEKTRA FANTASY ran outwards as KILARA'S FANCY cut sharply across resulting in JAY CEE HURT LOCHINVAR LAREDO and MAGIC MAGGIE being severly tightened and checked soon after racing in to the first bend LEKTRA FANTASY forced JAY CEE HURT to run wide around the first turn LEKTRA FANTASY raced widest out along the back straight to the home turn covering a lot of extra ground through out the race finishing towards the rear at the line
Race 9	MTA Auckland Cup Semi-Final Heat 1 - C5q - 527 Heat 1	Racing to the first turn RILEY'S MATE came together with FANCY TIP these two runners went wide on to the bend in behind INDI RHODE came out on to JETSUN FLAME and JINJARANGO these three runners all jostled for a few strides losing a couple of lengths JETSUN FLAME went back to the rear and never got back in to contention there after THRILLING QUEST ( fav ) was away first and was never headed to win easily
Race 10	MTA Auckland Cup Semi-Final Heat 2 - C5q - 527 Heat 2	In the run to the post first time PEDRO'S FIRST caught the heels of KIKI RHODE both these runners were in the rear at this point and they could not improve through out being the last two runners to the line . KNOW CLASS and RUSSELL HART were forced wide around the first bend KNOW CLASS made good ground there after to finish strongly for 2nd placing at the line
Race 11	MTA Auckland Cup Semi-Final Heat 3 - C5q - 527 Heat 3	From the jump PIGGY BACK ( fav ) was squeezed back from between RAW ENERGY and THRILLING VEGAS to the rear Racing in the first bend PIGGY BACK attempted to make ground running on to heels and going back another couple of lengths a few strides on PIGGY BACK and UNPROFESSIONAL bumped with UNPROFESSIONAL going back to the rear and never improved there after PIGGY BACK when in the clear again attempted to make ground down the back straight was checked again as THRILLING VEGAS tried to cut down to the rail PIGGY BACK beat a couple of runners to the line RAW ENERGY sped to a clear lead with a lap to go setting a good pace to win easily
Race 12	Sel's TAB Mangere Sprint - C5 - 318	As the field approached the first turn QUICK CAT was racing on the inner of BLUE JEAN ALICE who crossed to the rail with QUICK CAT catching a heel and stumbling slightly she went back on to BLACK HOMBRE who pushed her foreward almost off her feet QUICK CAT lost her balance and was pushed again as CAPTAIN COUTTS tried to avoid her QUICK CAT went down on her hindquarters and almost on her nose THRILLING ISSUES and RODRIGUEZ both had to check severly to avoid running in to QUICK CAT RODRIGUEZ was unlucky in that he had to change ground outwards and was very wide on the point of the top bend QUICK CAT recovered her footing to finish on to the lure a margin behind the field and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
