Track: Good The meeting was once again held in beautiful fine conditions and with the track in good order and the equipment functioning well, the races concluded on time.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C0 Ht 1 - C0q - 305 Heat 1	HURDY GURDY MAN was a little slow to begin and then made firm contact with the rail on the first corner and fell. It appeared that HURDY GURDY MAN was dictated in on the corner by TIME TO FIND who shifted in. HURDY GURDY MAN was referred to the Vet for assessment. DANNY SHEEN led from the start but drifted outwards in the home straight and made contact with PREFONTAINE and both dogs lost momentum and they finished in 2nd and 3rd places.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C0 Ht 2 - C0q - 305 Heat 2	VERSATILE RICHIE was slow to begin and settled back. GUNPOWDER GERTIE was checked going to the first corner losing three lengths. VERSATILE RICHIE and HOMEBUSH ENVY bumped together and ran wide into the bend losing ground and they finished at the rear..
Race 3	Guthrie Bowron C0 Ht 3 - C0q - 305 Heat 3	RANGER CHICK shifted out sharply from the start and collided with JUST A BOY and lost several lengths. RUTHLESS shifted in going into the bend and hampered JUDY IN DISGUISE who lost two lengths.
Race 4	J P Print, Petone C0 Ht 4 - C0q - 305 Heat 4	HELL FIRE shifted in from the start and checked KNOCKA OFF TIME who lost three lengths. TAKE ON ME shifted out going into the bend and checked WAIWHATA DREAM and WHITE LEGS who both lost three lengths. TAKE ON ME shifted in in the home straight and then eased over the final stages and possibly affected its chance of winning the race. The Trainer elected to admit that TAKE ON ME had breached the rules and the dog was stood down for 3 months for a second offence under Rule 80.1 b and is required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1.
Race 5	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C0 - C0 - 520	FAIR TO FINE was slow to begin and stayed back throughout the race. ALAMEIN GUS shifted in going to the first corner and hampered PUPPET MASTER who lost ground and then shifted out to race wide on the first bend . ALAMEIN GUS brushed together with PUPPET MASTER going into the final bend and PUPPET MASTER dropped back onto ALAMEIN EEL and both lost two lengths.
Race 6	Gary Ross Decorator C1 - C1 - 305	KEZZ and BOSS LADY SLOY were slow to begin . STARLA shifted out from the start and hampered ALL IN ALL , ANOTHER STREET and WORKING WAIKATO who all lost a little ground. KEZZ shifted out on the bend and gallloped on the back of BOSS LADY SLOY and they both lost ground and any chance of a first four placing.
Race 7	Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 520	OSTAPCHUK and RAVEON came together and bumped when the start was made and RAVEON dropped back to the rear and stayed back throughout to finish in 2nd last place.
Race 8	Palamountains Nutrition C1 - C1 - 305	MISS FOXY MINX was slow to begin but made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. HILTON FRIDAY shifted in going to the first corner forcing SCARILICIOUS in onto WORKING CAMARADE who was checked and went back onto HOMEBUSH ESME. HOMEBUSH ESME lost three lengths and never recovered.
Race 9	Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 520	MY LIL LUCIFER from box 8 raced very wide from the start and on the first bend. OPAWA PATCH began awkwardly and settled last and continued to lose ground and finished several lengths last. She was referred to the Vet for assessment
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C1 Final - C1f - 520	ALAMEIN JAH shifted in going to the first corner and checked JUST MAC who went back to the rear. JUST MAC had to check off the heels of OPAWA STU on the home turn and lost momentum. OPAWA STU had been in 2nd place down the back straight but then drifted and finished towards the rear and looked a little awkward in its action when crossing the finish line. He was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. ALAMEIN JAH was also referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request.
Race 11	Broad Roofing C1 - C1 - 305	DIGGIN ON YOU was hampered going into the bend and went back to last and he stayed back to the finish.
Race 12	The Rock 95.2FM C2 Final - C2f - 305	MY LITTLE OAH, ASHER and ANOTHER JEWEL were slow to begin losing two lengths. The favourite BEE RABBIT was also a little slow to begin and was then hampered a little on the first corner and forced to race a little wide on the bend and finished in 4th place.
