Weather: Fine
Track: Good The track was presented in a good racing order with all other equipment working well through out the programme
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Race one was put back 3 minutes at the request of the Stewards due to some remedial work being carried out on the track in the home straight
Race 11 was put back one race at the request of the Stewards after a window on the tractor shattered just before the winning post with a lot of glass on the outside of the track It was cleaned up with no issues for the remainder of the programme

Race 1 Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305 From the boxes AZURE DREAMS jumped inwards then ran outwards in to SECTIONED as GREEN TREATS came in SECTIONED was severly tightned and almost knocked off his feet he knuckled over on his nose going back to the rear and was not able to get back in to contention there after GERARD HAKA was forced to race wide in to and around the bend covering extra ground he finished in the rear at the line SECTIONAL was reffered to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
Race 2 Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305 From the jump BRAVE PHOENIX ran outwards forcing BLUE RUSH over the heels of HILTON FRIDAY a few strides on as HILTON FRIDAY crossed to the rail KNOCKA OFF TIME ran catching his heels and going back several lengths bumping BRAVE PHOENIX who ran wide forcing BLUE RUSH out wider on to the bend GO MAX was also forced to race wide in to the home straight when when improving finishing well for 3rd placing at the line
Race 3 Guthrie Bowron C0 - C0 - 520 ALEMEIN GUS went up with the lids losing a length then collided with SUMMER TENSION these two runners lost several lengths back to the rear Racing in to the first bend CLUAIN MEALA became unbalanced for a stride or so as PAW NO MORE ( fav ) improved in to a gap knocking CLUAIN MEALA in the shoulder .
Race 4 J P Print, Petone C0 - C0 - 305 PREFONTAINE and HOMEBUSH RICK bumped soon after the start from the jump SPEEDY FEET ran out on to RUTHLESS these two runners came together for a few strides SPEEDY FEET was turned sideways at this point but recovered quickly to race up handy finishing in 2 nd placing at the line Nearing the home turn CAWBOURNE ZAC had to check off the heels of BILLY HOLMES when attempting to improve wider out
Race 5 Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 - C1 - 305 From the jump HOMEBUSH NOS cut across the face of FLAYSOC checking this runner for a stride CAWBOURNE BARB went up with the lids losing several lengths and was not able to get in to contention there after In to the first turn there was tightning for a few strides between FLYSOC KEZZ and BOSS LADY SLOY ( fav ) as ANOTHER STREET came across towards the rail BOSS LADY SLOY ran out of room at this point being forced back a few lengths she was not able to improve much there after finishing towards the rear at the line
Race 6 Gary Ross Decorator C1 Final - C1f - 305 AUSSIE HAKA and WORKING WORKING ( fav )were both akwardly away from the start WORKING WORKING lost a length and in a bunched field was never able to gain clear racing room until close to the home turn Racing in to the first turn WHERE'S CHICKEN came across on to AUSSIE HAKA who had to muscle his way forward to clear this runner
Race 7 Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305 In the run to the first turn CAWBOURNE BROOK was nudged as TAWNY PORT came across CAWBOURNE BROOKE then went in catching the heels of NELLY FLAHERTY TAWNY PORT (fav )kept on forcing his way across as he tried to get to the lead he almost got up beside the leader EXCITED ROYALE at this point where TAWNY PORT caught the hind quarters of EXCITED ROYALE and tripped falling out sideways with SEDGEBROOK LAD having to hurdle the fallen runner SEDGEBROOK LAD recovered his stride and finished in the rear at the line he was referred to the vet for assessment TAWNY PORT recovered his footing to finish on to the lure some distance behind the field he was referred to the vet for assessment
Race 8 Palamountains Nutrition C1 Heat 1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 Racing to the post first time RIJEKA changed stride becoming unbalanced losing a couple of lengths in to the back straight RIJEKA attemted to make ground racing out wide there after covering a lot of extra ground finishing midfield at the line Raing on to the first bend CALM BROOKE and CAWBOURNE KEISHA ran wide WANDY KYLE was checked going in to the first turn and never recovered there after and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
Race 9 Keenan Concrete C1 Heat 2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2 Racing to the post first time there was tightning and joslting resulting WIND UP WHITEY running in to the back of MONKEY QUEEN who fell MONKEY QUEEN recovered her footing to finish on to the lure some distance behind the field and was referred to the vet for assessment
Race 10 Mickey's Super Liquor C2 Heat 1 - C2q - 305 Heat 1 HOMEBUSH ALEX a clear early leader raced towards the centre of the track on the top bend RED MOOVA HOOVER caught his inside heel slightly with HOMEBUSH ALEX running very wide in to the home straight he covered a lot of extra ground finishing in 4th placing at the line TANYBRYN racing in to the first turn was tightened for a stride or so and went back to the rear she was observed to be uncomfortable in her galloping action across the top bend she finished in last placing at the line she was referred to the vet for assessment
Race 11 Broad Roofing C2 Heat 2 - C2q - 305 Heat 2 SCOTT NO MONEY and SYDENHAM BUBBLES came together hampering each other up near the lead as they neared the first turn soon after ASHER came across as LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE moved out on to SCOTT NO MONEY SYDENHAM BUBBLES ran out of room going down on his hauches and was hit hard from behind by YOUR ON FIRE going over the falling runner with OPAWA GIFT having to hurdle SYDENHAM BUBBLES YOUR ON FIRE and OPAWA GIFT carried on to the lure and were referred to the vet for assessment SYDENHAM BUBBLES regained his footing to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
Race 12 The Rock 95.2FM C2 Heat 3 - C2q - 305 Heat 3 Soon after the start there was jostling between COOL EXPLORER RUN KAYLA RUN and MY LITTLE OAH soon after RUN KAYLA RUN was tightened and checked back as COOL EXPLORER went to the lead RUN KAYLA RUN went back then outwards on to the bend forcing JIMMY JURANTE and OPAWA CHARLIE out very wide these three runners all came together for a couple of strides In behind in to the first turn BOSS MAN SLOY crossed over making contact with the rail losing several lengths RUN KAYLA RUN ran widest in to the home straight having covered a lot of extra ground across the top bend finishing in last placing at the line BOSS MAN SLOY was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
