| Race 1 | Plaster Board LTD Railway Sprint Heat 1 - C5q - 318 Heat 1 | As the field jumped away CLONE YOUR OWN bumped in to LEGEND BEE with CLONE YOUR OWN losing a length LEFEND BEE then ran outwards forcing CLONE YOUR OWN outwards HONG KONG LOUIE lost ground racing in to the first turn going back to the rear by 6 lengths or so finishing in that position at the line HONG KONG LOUIE was refferred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found The connections of HONG KONG LOUIE were spoken to regarding the dogs performance today the dog had not raced since the 24-12-12 The Stewards advised the Trainer that a better performance will be exspected at his next start |
| Race 2 | MTA Auckland Cup Heat 1 - C5q - 527 Heat 1 | From the jump KNOW ATTEMPT cut hard inwards on to ZAMDATO and DOOMED all three runners being checked and losing a length KNOW ATTEMPT being the worst affected ending up almost in the rear at the post first time around and was checked at this point going down on his heels as ZAMDATO ran on to the back of him just ahead in to the bend THRILLING QUEST was checked and forced out wide as HYPOTENTIAL ran out to avoid heels THRILLING QUEST lost a fair amount of ground and made a sustained run late to run down the leader COOL IZMER in the shadows of the post |
| Race 3 | Plaster Board LTD Railway Sprint Heat 2 - C5q - 318 Heat 2 | Soon after the jump FLYING FLYNN ran in and bumped ANOTHER GON who was unbalanced for a stride or so STIFF and PEARL'S BOY both crossed towards the rail in the lead in behind CAPTAIN COUTTS from box 1 ran outwards through the midfield causing severe inteference to KYANNN MOTHERLEE FLYING FLYNN and MY JACK ATTACK also caught the heels of PEARL'S BOY as he ran outwards PEAR'LS BOY lost a couple of lengths running out wide as he recovered his balance and was only beaten a neck by the winner STIFF at the line The runners interferred with by CAPTAIN COUTTS lost several lengths with ANOTHER GON finishing on well for 3rd placing at the line |
| Race 4 | MTA Auckland Cup Heat 2 - C5q - 527 Heat 2 | PINK SOCK missed the start by a couple of lengths was hampered slightly as CHERRY TREE LANE crossed his running line in to the first bend just inside these runners JETSUN FLAME checked back off the heels of DOOM'S BLOWN and ran out bumping FANCY TIP Racing in to the back straight PINK SOCK and KNOW CHAOS came together with PINK SOCK stumbling slightly losing a length back to the rear and never improved there after PINK SOCK was refferred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found |

| Race 6 | MTA Auckland Cup Heat 3 - C5q - 527 Heat 3 | From the boxes PRETTY GOOD raced across on to WOT PRICE CURLY further in SEVEN IRON ran in to GORDON BALE PRETTY GOOD was turned sideways as WOT PRICE CURLY was severly tightened as SEVEN IRON kept on pushing outwards in to GORDON BALE all these runners tangled for a few strides with GORDON BALE ending up in the rear Racing in to the bend MINT POWER was forced out over some ground as tried to race around KIKI RHODE PRETTY GOOD (fav ) after the earlier trouble got up handy in the running but only battled the last bit finishing in fourth placing at the line |
| Race 7 | Plaster Board LTD Railway Sprint Heat 4 - C5q - 318 Heat 4 | Racing in to the first turn QUICK CAT caught the heels of NIPPA MARY and stumbled going back to the rear finishing a margin in last position at the line QUICK CAT was refferred to the vet assessment where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 8 | MTA Auckland Cup Heat 4 - C5q - 527 Heat 4 | Racing in to the first turn RYBENBROOK JOSH was checked losing several lengths he never improved in the running there after finishing a margin in the rear at the line RYBENBROOK JOSH was refferred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 9 | Plaster Board LTD Railway Sprint Heat 5 - C5q - 318 Heat 5 | In the run to the first turn WILD PUNTING came across and bumped KNOCK' EM who ran in on to THIS IS SWIP and ZEBADIAH ( fav ) in behind these runners DRYSDALE ran on to the back of LOCHINVAR YASI who lost momentum for a couple of strides then was forced over on to KNOCK' EM who was turned inwards severly tightning THIS IS SWIP on to ZEBIDIAH who went back on to JETSUN BLAZE making contact with the rail THIS IS SWIP ran out of room and fell after catching the heels of LOCHINVAR YASI as this runner was forced inwards by WILD PUNTING improving around runners attempting to get to the rail LOCHINVAR YASI ran outwards as WILD PUNTING cleared runners taking DRYSDALE and JETSUN BLAZE wide on to the bend THIS IS SWIP recovered her footing to finish on to the lure a distance behind the field and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found JETSUN BLAZE suffered an injury during the running and was referrred to the vet for assessment KNOCK 'EM was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 10 | MTA Auckland Cup Heat 5 - C5q - 527 Heat 5 | Racing along the back staright there was tightning and jostling for some distance as UNPROFESSIONAL attemted to make ground between runners he was pushed over on to THRILLING BLITZ and DYNA DEIGO as WE'RE SO LUCKY came across from wider out all these runners lost ground allowing KNOW CLASS to get a handy break on the field which he held to the line |
| Race 11 | Plaster Board LTD Railway Sprint Heat 6 - C5q - 318 Heat 6 | In the run to the first turn HAUKO came across on to COMPLICIT OCOTILLO HARVEY NICHOLS HOMEBUSH SARGE and EMMA JAY all these runners were tightened and jostled for some distance COMPLICIT was able to clear these runners crossing causing tightning and checks to these inside runners again OCOTILLO HARVEY NICHOLS HOME BUSH SARGE and EMMA JAY Racing in to the bend HAUKO was forced over as PROVEN SHELLY came across pushing HOMEBUSH SARGE tightning the inside runners again with HARVEY NICHOLS and OCOTILLO being checked further back as runners came back on them |
| Race 12 | MTA Auckland Cup Heat 6 - C5q - 527 Heat 6 | PIGGY BACK went up slightly with the lids losing a length COB WEBBER was akwardly away from midfied losing a length he was quickly in to stride and was tightened as TUMMY KRUNCHES came across pushing COB WEBBER over on to INDI RHODE soon after racing in to the first bend COB WEBBER was forced to check off heels as TUMMY KRUNCHES bumped him in to the line of MAGIC MAGGIE COB WEBBER raced the widest around the bend into the back straight finishing towards the rear at the line |
| Race 13 | Plaster Board LTD Railway Sprint Heat 7 - C5q - 318 Heat 7 | Soon after the start ELLY'S GIRL ran on to COSMIC PEARL bumping this dog who moved inwards on to GURU GOOSE ( fav ) resulting in him running in to the back of COSMIC PEARL who was turned sideways GURU GOOSE went back a couple of lengths at this point almost to the rear soon after GURU GOOSE attempted to cross to the rail forcing KNOW ADVANTAGE inwards and to be checked back further out MR WHIPPY came across on to COSMIC PEARL and LADAKH for a stride or so There after GURU GOOSE did make some ground late for 4th placing at the line KNOW ADVANTAGE finshed well for 2nd placing at the line |
